lol! Really nice considering that's with paint! Haha! Oh my gosh... XD! I like it. The render could be worked on a bit more but paint doesn't have a pen tool, so that's pretty good. The text needs a bit work on, and the colors blend well. I don't like some of the black residues at the corners though.

All in all, nice with paint.

*Looks like some bubbles on a Sora render which isn't that good since it ruins the render itself and it looks like you didn't focus on having the render to be similar to the BG. Try making it similar to the BG so it'll work if you want to do something to the render The border could use some changes.. mostly the color. Change the border color to black or so, because usually any other colors doesn't match if the background or render itself isn't "all" colorful. The text is a bit too big for that sig, decrease the font size (the color does blend in well almost, maybe sky blue with some blending will work). Not sure what your background really is but I can only speculate: they're crystals. However, the crystals "look-alike" should be a bit more fainter, and add a new twist to it like some DNA strands or something of that nature (matches since humans really see objects that are twirly and cubicles are "wonderfully" match, of course I'm lying but just a suggestion of lies XD j/p).

    *Can't see your Zexion sig.

All in all, you should keep trying. Remember, brushes makes the graphics. But filters and special tools (smudges, burn/dodge, etc.) should also be used. It'll depend largely on how you want the sig/avy to look like, however I'll give you some tips of when to uses brushes/filters/special tools:

    1) The majority of times when you're making something, brushes are what gives the BG/effects. Always try to form an image in your mind, then see if you got brushes that could make something like the image you got in your mind; and if you don't go the brushes, go to google! Like I'm thinking of some mountains, so I'll just type in google "Mountain brushes for *your editing program*". Always mess with the opacity of the brushes unless you want the image to be full blown out dark or light depending on what you'll do to the layers of brushes after.
    2) Filters, like grussian blur and sharpen is your buddy. So are a lot more that comes as default with your image editing program (however, there are other nice filters out on the web but it's your choice if you want to use 'em or not). Use them when making layers, play around with the layer settings like overlay, dodge, burn, soft light, etc. and mess with the layer opacity too! Try some filters on some of the layers, and you might just get what you need for that awesome swirl or trees-lookalike!
    3) Special tools, like the dodge/burn will really effect the outcome of your sig/avy! For example, on a render dodging the right area can make it look blistfully horrible, but burning will make it look darker and better! So mess around with the dodge/burn to see if you can get the "umph" you need.

There are more tips and advices/suggestions but! Most comes from experimenting so ALWAYS experiment to learn! And follow tutorials (quite oftenly, this is how people learn) to learn techniques and stuff. ;) Remember, google is your friend! Use it for brushes, gradients, etc.

I am also sorry for turning this CnC into some tips/helps for you Mickey, but hope it helps.

Render is of poor quality. Looked like you just paste a lot of overlay layers with the render at different spots, with a filter. The brushes doesn't even make the sig look unique. It's horrible dude... Try having the background to match with how you set up the render copies, however, the render is of poor quality (mainly the face). I'm not sure if you render it out, scale the image down without sharpening it, or whatever but yeah. All messed up, I wouldn't even think the two signatures you got in the sig. box was what you made. Sorry for being so harsh, but wow... Oh well, it was your first sig. in a long time so I really can't say much other than it looked like you made the sig. in less than 5 minutes without any thoughts on what to make it into.

    I'll request a signature from you just because I'm too lazy to make my own, xD. Just got done with Mickey's so... And since you're not getting any requests I'll just make my request hard for you to do. Remember, if you don't start doing different stuff you won't ever get good at it! Think of this as a way of making you better at doing different designs other than some disortions and abstractness. ;_;

    Render: http://planetrenders.net/renders/displayimage.php?pos=-19486
Colors/Designs: I want the colors to match with the render. That means a bit of gray, white, and orange. Make it all fit. Don't give me any abstractness, give me some vectors! Flames! Bones! Oh for the love of, be creative!
Size: No bigger than 380x150. If the render is too difficult for you to make it "work" ATM, then adjust the size of the image as needed.
Extra Stuff: I want the text "Skull-Grey-Bite-You" near the bottom right, with some blending of the text. I don't care what font you use, as long as I can read it and it looks a bit like the render. I want the whole feel of the signature to be like you're in a graveyard feeling (scariness)!

EDIT: Once again, if you feel like you can make such an atrocity for me, then do so. Don't push yourself if you can't right now, alright? There.

    Nice 'tags'/'sigs'...

    1) What's with the circles? They ruined the whole flow of the sig., get rid of them. =P
    2) Last problem is that there's a red spot near the top-right of the tags... that really threw me off of the whole "nature-feel" tag for me. xD

Overall, just the circles and that red splotch are needed to get rid of to have this tag be really awesome! I like the way you did with the text too, however don't let the letters of the text get blend (nortoriously, the 7) as it has some part of it blacken while the rest are just normal.

Yes, just click on the link of the image you like, then left-click on the image and go to "save image as" / "save target as". After, host the picture to your photobucket account. If you want anymore changes, just ask. I still got the file with all the layers on it, so I can easily change something if you don't like it. No rep, no thanks, no whatever is needed. All I ask is that don't ever save a render as .jpg anymore since it wasn't transparent, and I had to render the picture out. :P

They are identical to each other because they are. However, they differ in the border. One has a border that's exterior, one interior. Was wondering which you like more. And darker, eh?

    Darker-Sig (TRANSPARENT BORDER
    Darker-Sig (DARKER TRANSPARENT BORDER)

There, I also went and change the font because I found the first font I used to be hard to read. Need anymore changes?

EDIT: I got to go get a haircut. If someone finish your request for you, then yay. If not, I'll be back.

Google is your friend, and if you want use GIMP. It's free, it can do almost or AS GOOD as Photoshop can do. You won't have moral regrets for downloading something that's free, and also.. You can make animations with GIMP! GIMP itself can make animations, but it has a set of plugins name GAP that is like Photoshop's ImageReady (which is an animation software that does all those fancy movie-sig, etc.) so yeah! ;)

Wow, that's impressive! I can't even do something like that, not even close! XD Looks like oil splatters, in a good way! Keep it up! However, the face is freaky. Maybe try smoothing the face out just a bit more?

Nonetheless, nice. And if you spent 4-5 hours on something like that, dang. If I imagine so, a skill graphic artist can do that in less than 3 hours.. Possibly, knowing what to do will take less than 2 hours, so yeah. But hey, atleast you'll get better at doing it. :P

I made two signatures, with different borders. Pick the one you like, then tell me if you wish to have anything change to the one you like (or neither, I don't mind at all. Only did this for fun, anyway.)

    1st Sig - Black Border
    2nd Sig - Transparent border

EDIT: I didn't go for an abstract in these signatures, this are "design" sigs, meaning I use brushes that are like nature and vectors, crap like that. Since you weren't specific enough, I decided to make my first design signatures...

Would you like the sig. to show a keyblade too? Just the render alone looks lonely, since I'm not making it abstract, but moreso "designs".. So..

Your request... I might be able to do. However, if you want to fit in most of the render's body and his guns also, then best bet is to make it a pop-out signature. However, if you really want it to fit into the signature, then I can do so. But I'm telling you, the image looks weird if it gets scale down to fit anything in...

EDIT: Let Arcantress try first, if it still doesn't satisfy you then I'll try.

    Fiesty you are...

The lotus has a good feel going on, but it got ruined when I saw the text just... lying there.

The render does NOT match with the background... Definitely no-no! It's a nice BG, but a bad choice of render. Make it have more... styles than abstract (it seems). The text, too, could be worked on.

Text - make it stand out more.
Render - too blurry (probably has something to do with the darkness around.)
Random whitespots - a bit overdone, try limiting yourself to around 3 or 4.

Overall, the render itself has the most problems. It's placed weirdly in the center (perhaps moving it a bit to the left?), the shoulders (particularly the left one) has those pixelize fragments... annoying. On the other hand, you did a fantastic job on the smudging and burning (hopefully you did) with a bit of dodging, so...

Not one of your best work, but definitely with the best smudges IMO, if they are smudges. xD

It's nice. Really random, so adds to the surprisement. And since I don't even know what render it is, it just adds to the whole randomness value of the sig.

For what this sig "purpose" is (messy overall, correct me if I'm wrong Arcan), it really does it. So the way you made this sig fits in with its theme; the only thing I could recommend changing though is having the white part near the flowers (it's like a white spot, just a white spot right there) that's near the render's face. That really disturbs me. :P

And having only 1-2 months of GIMPing that's pretty good. Keep up the good work! ;D

The text really... really doesn't match. I'd go the same with mcFabu. Just get the text to be a bit around the dark-gray scale, and you got it. I like the whole randomness with the brushes though! All in all, nice.

Looks good, but a bit bright to the left. Render is nice, but could hardly see her right hand. Text could be work on (it's a little too spread apart). The render hair looks amazing though, I'm not sure if you did it with layers or dodge it, but it really adds! I'd think the gray is being a bit overdone to the right, but that's neglilible since it does have some whiteness beside it.

All in all, nice. Now if it only was a sig... =P

I see it now. Poor way to blend it in, make the font bigger. After that, blend it. When I saw the sig. I didn't see the text. It looked like chains. >_> Anyway, definitely get the font to be bigger.

This is a bad render I cut out... Sorry. I had difficulties seeing where Mickey's head were due to the graphic.
