I usually imagined him having Xehanort's hairstyle with darker hair and Riku's face...
KH2 seemed to have a theme of Darkness as evil, at least from what I saw. I'd kinda like to see that balanced out, with a theme of Light as evil...
Which Heartless in this game was the most frustrating to fight? For me it was the Air Soldiers. Rassum frassum chickens, doing some annoying flying kick at inoppurtune moments and then running away before I can do anything... They're worse when they gang up on you... *sigh*
Hee. I did say people could mention their favorite crack pairings...
Thanks a mil for this, it helps clear some things up. :)
Something about the energy from the machine purified the darkness in Riku's heart, eliminating all but the most basic of his darkness abilities, Dark Aura and Dark Shield. He essentially lost Xehanort's powers and could no longer call on them. I think, anyway.
Sora being gay is a dream/delusion of some of his fans. Also, why why WHY do people miss the fact that yes, she CAN fight?! She was whomping Heartless alongside Rikunort in TWTNW!! Even when unarmed, she dove right into a crowd of Heartless to help Sora! She stood up to SAIX, for crying out loud! And don't get me started on the people who think Namine is useless. Her powers are dangerous. (I don't believe that 'can just affect Sora and those connected to his heart' thing. If that's true, why was a clone, with NO connection to Sora's heart, able to be affected?) Also, she rescued both Kairi and Pluto from the dungeon as well as the whole group after realizing they were stuck in TWTNW. Is it because they're girly and feminine that people don't like them? Geez louise, this is so aggrivating.
I'd like to keep Reaction Commands, but modify them somewhat and limit them to bosses and high end baddies. Like you press triangle to trigger the command, starting a mini-cut scene, but have to use a button sequence to get the desired result. A good example that actually exists is the Samurai's Duel Stance. I'd modify it for the new system so that something like this would happen: The camera would spin around the Samurai and Sora, while the player would have to enter a sequence of buttons (ex: circle, triangle, left, circle) before time runs out to get Sora to win the Duel. Limit attacks for the Drive forms would be interesting, although just for kicks I think Anti-Form should be added to the selection of drives, as well as a Nobody Form (different from Roxas, as I'd like to see him returning as a boss character). I also like the idea of leader switching mid-fight, with the command list changing depending on who's in the lead. I'd like to see the return of the Trinity symbols, as a way of emphasizing the group dynamic. And I want DONALD'S AI FIXED!!
*shrugs* I'm just curious, is all. What KH/KHCoM/KH2 pairings do you support, fanon, canon, or just flat out crack? And why do you support them? I myself support the following: Sora/Kairi (They're obviously a canon couple by the end of KH2, and in my opinion are very cute together. And now that Kairi has a Keyblade of her own, she can fight alongside Sora next game.) Most established Disney couples (Jasmine/Aladdin, Meg/Hercules, Mickey/Minnie and so forth. Why mess with what works?) Maleficent/Pete (Yeah, this is a bit of a crack pairing, but eh. Honestly, she has to have at least SOME affection for the oaf. Why else would she keep him around for so long?) Xemnas/Saix (One-sided on Saix's part, I think, as Xemnas is too crazy to even consider romance. Still, I kinda enjoy the idea of Saix being in love with Xemnas as the reason he's so single-mindedly loyal to him...) Saix/Demyx (As crazy as this sounds, I think it could work. Demyx is a musician, and since he lacks a heart, his songs probably lack meaning to him. Saix would give him meaning by helping reinforce his loyalty to the Organization, giving the young musician hope that his Heart would come back to him...) Vexen/Larxene (Not so much romance (since Nobodies are incapable of the emotion), but more of a casual, possibly semi-antagonistic friendship. Both of them aren't above pain infliction for enjoyment, and I can easily see them getting together for casual sex while making fun of people they don't like in the Organization.) Marluxia/Lexaeus (Lexaeus always struck me as a farm boy-turned-agricultral scientist type. I keep envisioning the two of them combining their interests to try and better one another, fill in what the other lacks...) Marluxia/Namine (More of a one-sided Stockholm syndrome thing from Namine's end, but I can easily see it happening.) Axel/Roxas (Either just friendship (which is what the canon version seems like) or romance, I just like the two of them together...) Roxas/Namine (Both Nobodies, and while Namine is capable of feeling emotion, I still see this as a very close friendship and not romance...) ... On that note, I'd love to see Roxas tell Sora that he had a thing for Axel, and watch Sora fumble around trying to decide if he's bisexual or not. Naturally, Riku and Kairi would be willing to 'help' Sora figure himself out (in some teasing, prank-like and probably flirtarious way... I swear those two have a mischevious streak where Sora is concerned...)
... Where?
It's officially stated in the Ultimania that Riku does not and never had a Nobody. His body and heart were possessed by Xehanort's Heartless, and because of both that and Maleficent, Riku gained tremendous power over darkness, but his heart never completely fell into darkness as Sora's did.
As nutty as it sounds, I've started to like the Vexen/Larxene pairing, and am writing a fic to accompany that theme. Although I don't see this as a romantic pairing, though, more like the two of them getting together for cheap and easy 'fun' because they have similar interests...
The analogy doesn't work for me, and makes no sense. A mother is a mother. A Nobody is an entire species. Nothing I've seen or what you've said suggests to me that Namine is not a full-fledged Nobody.
Riku was possessed, he never became a Heartless. The Riku Replica was a clone who only thought he had a heart. Riku does not have a Nobody.
I'm sorry if I came off as rude, it just seemed contradictory to me. *shrugs* I've read the Secret Ansem Reports as well, and nothing I've seen tells me that Namine is not a Nobody. She may be a different breed of Nobody, but she's still of the same species as Xemnas and the others.
*pops neck, preparing to answer questions* 1.) For the sliding shroud, I think Xemnas actually becomes the cloud of darkness, and really, who can hurt a cloud? Either that or he makes himself intangible and thus immune to damage that way. 2.) I don't think it has to do anything with Vexen's choice, I think the programmers made it Anti-Sora both to avoid confusion by having a Sora clone out there, avoid potential cheapness (Sora is VERY powerful in this game, imagine a clone with the exact same abilities), and because a Heartless version of Sora would make Vexen look more evil. Hell, for all I know, a couple of the reasons I mentioned could also be applied to Vexen. LoL. 3.) The energy wave I saw may just have been produced by a flying book. *shrugs* As for all your observations... Yeah, that's pretty much it. Zexion has a lot of powers he can focus through his book. Damaging the Zexion shadow inside either the book world or the meteorite game can force the book to 'disgorge' Sora & company back to fight Zexion for real. The spotlight game IS kinda like Luxord's roulette games (for all we know, Luxord may have taught that trick to Zexion in the storyline), but uses flaming meteors as the penalty instead of flaming books. I've asked around about the attack where Zexion turns your command menu into a book, and to get your normal menu back, you have to flip around pages and press buttons until you get the page & button that turns your command menu back to normal. Hence what I said earlier. As for Zexion's weapon copying, he copies the weapon. Not the power. Otherwise they wouldn't need Roxas and his Keyblades, they could just have Zexion copy it. Another example: Zexion could manifest Demyx's sitar, even play some music on it, but he couldn't control water with it. At best he could shoot an energy blast through it, like he did while disguised as Sora during his fight with Riku. Zexion can make hard light illusions that can physically attack, but they aren't true clones. Remember, Zexion's power is illusion. 4.) OH! That. :) Silly me. Okay. That is essentially a death sentence attack. If you'll notice, some of Marluxia's attacks do not damage Sora, they just take down the number counter. If Marluxia hits Sora that set number of times, he's dead even if he has full life. The number is Sora's experience level. So if Sora is level 34 experience, Marluxia just needs to hit him 34 times to kill him. If Sora's experience level is 99, Marluxia needs to hit him 99 times. As for the darkness holes, you just take a large amount of damage if you're standing in them. 5.) Larxene is definetly extremely fast. But she also has ninja clone abilities. And I'll bet anything that her minion Nobodies are called Ninjas. Hee.
Peacefully, in my sleep, at an old age. Either that or instantaneously, so I don't suffer.
A skinny, vaguely athletic guy with a sword twice his size who can wield said blade like it weighed only a tenth of what it does.
Moogles. They're just too cute, especially in Final Fantasy XII. :)
Your own statement contradicts itself. What is a non-being, if not a Nobody? Namine is a Nobody. She is just a different breed than the rest, because she has no darkness in her being and has the ability to actually feel emotions.
