Toji got ready to perform the experiment.
"Yeah, preferably one that's more resilient. We just have to mess with the synapses now, and everything will be ready."
"I've got everything figured out on my end. My subject is dead, but I restored emotions and his identity before he died. He just couldn't take the experiementation, but a shadow can."
"I'm all done in here, how's your work going?"
Toji just nodded and continued with his work.
Toji's subject sat still while Toji studied the machine, making notes whenever he found a key synapse.
"Something we can remedy by taking finding out what synapses trigger emotions and activate them." Toji said as he hooked up a synapse analyzer to his test subject and began to trigger various emotions.
Toji's test subject was restrained in another chair, but was heavily sedated. "Even if this one wakes up, he won't remember a thing after the experiments."
Toji went to the university and got a test subject.
"I can grab one from the university."
"I don't have a degree in it yet, but it's my major."
"That's the only place I have equipment. Let's go."
Yuki nodded as Toji came downstairs. "We should start immediately."
Yuki waited for Zain to return.
Yuki just shrugged and sighed.
"You need help with your experiment, right? If you help him, he'd help you."
"Just do it. It's not like you have anything better to do."
"I guess Toji wanted to make both of you seem more human."
Yuki started leafing though Toji's research. "I didn't know Toji was researching this stuff. He's been looking for a way to give emotions to people that have none, as well as help them develop an identity for themselves."
Yuki drank a glass of water and sat down. "I'll try to control my urges next time. I couldn't help myself though."
