Oh yeah! You get two menus in one! (although, I found it annoying when trying to change party members or use items outside of a shortcut menu.. Drive, Limit, and Summon were all synonymous to me...)
Reflega, that's just cool, I don't know why...
Oh yeah, "BTW" is txt talk, check your first post. I'm not really swayed by the command menus, but I was thinking the thread was going to be about the command menus by world-theme... Still, it's a nice change of pace from Keyblades and Nobodies...
Yeah, the old box was more obvious about the color change... I'm not actually that distracted... and I don't notice a big change in the KHII box when in battle...
Oh, now here's a original, unique thread. To tell ya the truth, I adapted pretty well to KHII, I like its command box better because it's innovative... It changes, sometimes more so than just a world... It even changes when you go into Namine's room in the mansion in Twilight Town, to icons nearly identical to the cards in CoM...
Ok, just think about it, I'm sure every character has characterized him or herself by simply saying one thought or emotion provoking thing once, or one catchy/annoying thing constantly. Name as many characters as you're familiar with, and beside him/her/it add a phrase that you associate with that character. Auron: "This is my story, and you're not part of it" (I also always remember the rest of that conversation: Hades: "Do you know who you're TALKING to?! I'm the LORD OF THE DEAD!" Auron: "No wonder no one wants to die") Xigbar: "As if" / "Armed and reloaded" Sora: "My friends are my power" / "That's the power of the Keyblade!" / Roxas?? Ansem: "Revenge" Kairi: "No! I won't let him go!" Axel: "Got it memorized?" Demyx: "Dance Water Dance!" Xemnas: more than "Hearts are power", or "Embrace...nothing", I HAVE to remember Xemnas solely by his "GUARD!" Saïx: "Moon, shine down!" The King: "Light, give me power!" Oogie: Come on, baby! Maleficent: I am the mistress of all evil!!
Heh, why Oblivion & Oathkeeper? Would you have rathered Roxas wield Fairyharp and Wishing Lamp or something?! :)
Then again, how many threads do you think include the word "Organization", or "Nobody"? It's all getting old. Not to mention, almost everybody says either Oathkeeper, Oblivion, Ultima Weapon, Fenrir, or Way to Dawn. Almost nobody says things like Kingdom Key, Spellbinder, Crabclaw, Lady Luck, Jungle King, etc... I THINK I'd choose Follow the Wind, because it's Pirates of the Caribbean, and looks a little different, I also sorta think Monochrome is sorta cool,
Nah, I think it's a little over ten times, what I did just to make sure, I said quit and then just did it again instead of retrying...
LOL He'd probably do what he did with the raft. He'd probably be proud of his not believing in Santa, and when he's proven wrong, he'd be all like, "whatever, that's nothing.."
You have to fight Hayner a fixed number of times....
Hm, besides memories and quirks and such, I wanna know what influence Namine' has on Kairi's abilities.
Also, when Sora was listing the characters who would be against the Heartless & Nobodies in Yen Sid's tower, he said "Me, you guys, Riku, and the King" to Donald & Goofy... The he says "The five of us, I mean SIX of us", is the sixth person Sora subconsciously adding to the list Roxas?
Oh, I stand corrected don't I? :D Oh well, saying something like that just gave me that impression (then again, I'm stupid even more so, because Goofy's attacks in KHII run off MP, so even WITH MP it'd be even)
Oh, well that's just pathetic, you have to rule out things to attempt to make your opinion dominate. Probably still Goofy, because while Donald could keep casting Cure, while he'd be trying to do it, Goofy would be using all the MP he WOULD be wasting on special attacks on Donald, never giving him the time to do so...
Right on! I'm going for Goofy! Although, I think Donald could stand a fight with Goofy, I'm not dissin' the duck... I just think all-and-all, Goofy would win... I'd like to see this fight.
I actually was a bit touched when Saïx told Sora that Axel was determined to turn him into a Heartless, which to me, meant that Axel was desperate to see his old friend again, the way it was meant to be.
Not to MENTION even Sephiroth had heard SOMETHING of it, and thought it might choose him over Sora if he defeated him...
Ok, besides the simple question of "What surprise does his majesty have for us this time?!: or the complex "Who is this guy, and this guy, and this chick in the secret movie??", I have a questionable thought... err... a thoughtful question. Now permanently combined with their Nobodies... How will Sora & Kairi function now? Roxas apparently manifests from within Sora, as does Namine' with Kairi.. So, how will Sora & Kairi go on with other identities going on inside them? Can Sora hear Roxas now? Can Kairi mentally/spiritually communicate with Namine'? What of their powers? Namine' had supernatural re-memorization powers as a Nobody... Roxas had more Keyblades (which is I guess why Drive allows you to dual-wield I think) so can the Somebodies tap into their talents? Is Sora's best friend 100% Riku, or does Roxas maybe still miss Hayner? What of memories? Does Sora remember CoM now? Can Kairi recall Namine's being subjected to Marluxia at Castle Oblivion???
Hm... After playing through again... I notice Merlin mentions how there are certain weapons that can only be wielded by special "chosen ones", and that the Keyblade is one of them... meaning, couldn't the chakram and kunai and shield and scythe and book and tomahawk and sitar and lances and laser shooters and cards and dice and claymore thingy and light sabers be very similar to the Keyblades?? Afterall, they are never wielded by anyone but their original owners, the individual Organization members, and they obviously come from nowhere, just like the Keyblades... Well, anyway, yeah... the origin of these Keyblades confuse me... Not so much how they can wield them... It all makes sense.. If you can wield a Keyblade, you were chosen as a Keyblader...
