Aroe rolled into the snow, trying to ease the pain where the fire had hit him. There was no doubt now, Gharanth knew where Natalie was. Only one choice was left for Aroe. "NO!" He shouted as he through himself at Gharanth as hard as he could, but he weighed not even half of what Gharanth did. That was a risk he would willingly take for Natalie.
Aroe swallowed. He saw the bush Natalie had hidden in but couldn't be sure Gharanth hadn't. He doubted he could beat the deamon before him but he couldn't bear to watch Natalie die by his hand for some reason. He slowly positioned himself in front of the bush as if to protect her, trying to make it so Gharanth didn't see who hid just three feet behind him.
