Aroe used a burst of summoned wind to push the blades off aim as they sailed inches from his throat and legs. Yochi was a skilled bladesman, no doubt. He meant to kill...and Natalie didn't care anyways. Cause he was human like her. He blocked Natalie's blow but didn't attempt to harm her.
Aroe slashed at Yochi, trying to get in an attack.
Me All Alone! Me Looky At The Wally! ME STILL ALONE! ME COUNT FLOOR TILES!
"IM A DEAMON DAMN IT! WHAT DOES IT MATTER TO YOU?!!!!?!" There are tears in Aroe's eyes but he blinks them away, ready for Yochi but a little wobbily now. He blocks Yochi's blow but barely, he is still watching Natalie.
Aroe shook his head, not speaking at all anymore. His eyes told Yochi to make a move quickly so he didn't change his mind.
Aroe chewed his lip, not wanting to fight Natalie but unable to back out now. The fight was on.
"I guess so." Aroe readied his daggers, glancing only once at Natalie to make sure he wouldn't hit her by accident. "Make your move, Hero boy."
"I never planned to harm Natalie." Aroe winced as her name hit his tongue. If only he could just talk to her for a few minutes... "All I want is you. I won't hurt her so just let her get out of the way so she's safe. Holding those bladed like that, you could easily slip and poke someones eye out." Aroe snickered to himself.
"Hey my little heroes..."Aroe gestured to Natalie, trying to ask forgiviness with his eyes. She didn't have a clue how hard it was being a deamon. She treated 'em all like something nasty. "Got any orbs for me?" He brandished his daggers skillfully. "And I wasn't talking to you Natalie." He tried to say it gently but it didn't come out that way. "I was speaking to the boy. He has an orb im guessing?"
Aroe landed a ways away from Natalie and Yochi on the shore. His daggers were drawn and his mind was set. The orbs were important. More than anything right now. And if they meant a fight, then they'd get one.
Aroe grinned to himself as he rushed down past Torque. If Aroe couldn't get Natalie to talk to him, why was Torque any different? They were both deamons. And still he drew closer to her and Yochi. He could almost feel the orbs in his fingertips.
Hi Dudes! Im Wishing Everyone A Happy Birthday Today!
Aroe drew ever so nearer feeling a little angrier as he watched Natalie stare at Yochi. What was so special about him anyways? Neither of them seemed to notice Aroe swooping down on them in a fury of wind. If he got close enough, he could snatch the orbs up without even fighting.
Aroe clentched his teeth. Was every deamon this stupid? A Fake orb???? He'd fallen for that trick??? Aroe cracked his knuckles, eyes locking on Yochi. He was prety sure he had an orb with him. With a smirk, Aroe dove down towards him, pulling out his blades and preparing to fight.
Aroe watched Drakeon and the others from above, circleing around them if help was needed. They looked like he could handle the girl though. THey looked perfectly capable. It was actually Natalie he'd come to see, but she'd been practicing. She wasn't so helpless anymore and the way she fought made a strike of pride flush through him. She wasn't helpless. She could survive without him watching. That didn't mean he'd stop watching though.
Natalie continued to cry out and Aroe faught to get to her but he couldn't reach her.He cried but no one seemed to hear. It was no wonder Natalie hated Deamons with these nightmares. He watched her cower in her dream and wanted to help . Trembleing, he stood next to her, obliterating the deamon before her. It's alright, Natalie! You're safe! It's okay! Then his body gave a sudder and he remembered his real body was buried in feet of snow. He was pulled out of the dream by force. OOC: i gotta go. B back a bit later.
Yeah I do. Im looking into your window right now...nice shoes...shut up Jeramiah!
Yah, we gots some real nut cases here. Right Jeramiah? Right, Rax. Some poeple even talk to themselves. Yeah...weirdos.
Aroe wondered farther into Natalie's head. It was just an extra skill he'd picked up. To read dreams and get into them. He figured if he was dieing, it couldn't hurt to know why. He saw a deamon much like himself, towering over Natalie who's face was contorted with fear and pain. The deamon was killing her. Aroe shook his head, realizing Natalie was dreaming. "Stop it!" He cried at the deamon. "Stop it please!"
Aroe listened to her screaming in his head. She needed help. Something he couldn't give her. He hoped one of her friends was near. Maybe they could help her live. Maybe someone could help him live. But who would? Not Gharanth that was for sure. Not Natalie, It was her trying to kill him. Not any other deamon. He was alone.
