Here is my theory. I DON'T believe that he used a keychain on Souleater to make it Way to Dawn, because Souleater is NOT a keyblade. That's sorta obvious, plus he got it from Maleficent so if it was that would make her one, not Riku. Well, yes he did in Chain of Memories go down the "Road to Dawn." I don't take this completely literally, rather a metaphoric way of something else. When he goes down to Road to Dawn, it's a way of saying that he now understands that he is a keyblade weilder. *Quick interruption* I don't know if you've read this theory before about the four keyblade weilders, but I believe it. It also partly relates to the secret ending and the crossroads. One of the weilders from the paths is the light weilder, with no dark in their heart (like a Princess of Heart). One is twilight (just a nickname I'll give it for now), with mostly light and good in their heart. One is dawn which originally turned to the dark and realizing his sins later, returned to the light. One is dark, which I believe is the one figure coming up in the distance, who I also believe is Xehanort (it may not be the bald guy, you know. That figure could be anyone). And I just realized something (I still believe in this theory, but I'm having my doubts), that there are more than just those four weilders. Damn. Whatever, so as I was saying, each of these four (or maybe there are many weilders of each type who all pass it down), pass down their keyblade powers to someone else. The twilight (can't be light, they don't have light in their heart) originally went to Riku (before KH1) and he didn't know it. When he turned to the darkness, it was passed down to Sora (beginning of KH1). At that time, Mickey recieved the light keyblade (I don't know why, he's not completely light. Maybe as a necessity to get out of the darkness as he was in Kingdom Hearts?). Xehanort had, and had before, the dark one. He needed a body so he used Riku's (blah blah blah you know the story), and so through Riku used the keyblade, making Riku also a dark weilder. When Xehanort left Riku's body, Riku still had part of Xehanort in him, so he was still partly a dark keyblade weilder. Xehanort remained as one (until his death). Ok, so now that you've heard this, here's my speculation about the Way to Dawn. So Riku remained a dark weilder through basically all of Chain of Memories as well. But throughout the game, he began to understand more not to reject the darkness, but not to abuse it (all that stuff, whatever), as well as defeated MOST of the remains of Xehanort in his heart (he still had some left, thus the transformation in KHII). Also, if you hadn't noticed, Riku had the power of the dark keyblade all the way through KH: COM, but never used it. So at the end when Riku says "the Road to Dawn," he's meaning that he can't completely make up for all the things he's done, and that he's turning back to the light, making him part of the "dawn." This made him the dawn weilder, because he was originally dark, but returned to help the light. I do think that throughout ALL of KH2 he had the Way to Dawn, and he also had the choice of using the Souleater. At the point when you fight Riku in the Land of Dragons and he's using the Souleater, he's only doing that so he won't complicate things for Sora by having Sora fight an "Organization member" with a keyblade (although, inevitably, he fights Roxas later on who has two keyblades).
ehh. a romantic part like that would be ok, but not yet. too early.
I don't really watch Anime, I read Manga, but the only one I really watch on this list is Hikaru No Go cuz the manga's goin really slowly and I'm really impatient.
I honestly think this is just some new guy that's gonna connect to the story somehow. Actually when I look at this, the clothes makes me believe that this may be Xehanort or maybe somebody connected to him.
that's true, Wavewhisper. very good. Namine should too be a Keyblade weilder. But if you think about it, does it really matter anymore? After KH2, Roxas and Namine are again part of Sora and Kairi. So they won't be important anymore and even if they do play a part, they will be in Sora and Kairi, so it won't really involve them.
Obviously, because she is an element of Kairi, just like Roxas was a Keyblade weilder because he is an element of Sora. BUT NAMINE HAS NO HEART (she is a Nobody), so she is in a way "an element of a Princess of Heart." This also explains why Namine is a witch. When Kairi lost her heart, of course, a Nobody had to be made. But she couldn't become a Heartless because she had no darkness in her heart because she was a Princess of Heart. So because this situation was a little different than most, Namine was "deformed" (in a way that she had odd powers). But no, she is not an 8th Princess of Heart. She is an element of one of the 7.
Xehanort. Theres obviously some huge twist as to why he's there, (maybe he even has a different form from what we know, maybe this is in the past before he lost his memory), but i know that he must be Xehanort.
Rep? (huh?) Sorry im new here...
exactly. this forum thread IS my research.
Many people keep thinking that Ansem Report 0 is Ansem Report 1 because they think it says the same thing and that in Japan there's 0-12, while here theres 1-13, so while one is 0 in Japan, that one is the same as 1 here. THESE RUMORS ARE NOT TRUE!!! I HAVE PROOF!!!! Look at the the Secret Ansem Report 2 from KH2. In it, Ansem, or DiZ, says, "And I discovered the "Ansem Reports". They carried my name, but the only one that I wrote was Number 0. Number 1 through Number 8 were written by that man of his own volition." He reffers to Number 0 as a completely different report than Number 1. He says HE wrote 0, and Xehanort wrote 1+. So they are different. Also, I'm pretty sure that in Sunset Horizons (the KH2 secret ending), that the Ansem Report 0 that flies across the screen IS NOT the same as Ansem Report 1. It talks alot about the Keyblade, and this was written by Ansem the Wise, not Xehanort. Obviously Ansem knew something about the Keyblades previously, and wanted to learn more. Maybe he's connected to the Sunset Horizons or Keyblade War? It's like REALLY hard to read what the Ansem Report 0 says, because the letters are so small and theres no good shot of it. BUT I KNOW WHAT IT SAYS BECAUSE IT EVEN GIVES A DIRECT QUOTE FROM IT IN THE SECRET MOVIE. If you watch the English version, every word it says is a quote from it. It says "The Keyblade is said to hold phenomenal power. One legend said its weilder saved the world, while another says that he wrought chaos and ruin upon it." This first part of the quote shows something. What exactly ARE these legends? Ok, I'll continue, "I must know what this Keyblade is. A key opens doors," then it says Ansem Report something (can't read the number), but I can see a faint outline of a 0, and HAVE YOU EVER SEEN ANY OF THESE QUOTES IN ANY OTHER ANSEM REPORT? Plus, Ansem obviously wrote this, and Xehanort wrote the original Ansem Reports, meaning that this quote must have been from the Secret Ansem Reports, which Ansem wrote, but it's not. Thus, it MUST be Ansem Report 0. Oh, and I just realized ANOTHER thing. It Japan has a 0, and we have a 1 (same thing, changed numbers), then howcome in Sunset Horizons, in the Japanese AND the English version, it shows Ansem Report 0 flying across the screen?
i know, but didnt know what section to put it in =/ but thanx for the info im not as worried like if something happens i have a warrantee and its not like a disaster i can just pay $100 dollars for a new second hand one
I pre-ordered KH2: Final Mix+ from Japan, as well as Swap Magic. A FEW CONCERNS, IF YOU WOULD BE KIND ENOUGH TO REPLY!!!!!! For one thing, I know that the english voice overs or something or some english subs (some crap like that) will make it possible to understand the KH2: Final Mix part. But for the Re: COM, is there no english translation at all? No subs or anything? Even with Swap Magic? AND HERES MY BIGGEST CONCERN!!!! On YouTube I posted my concerns, and someone replied saying that somewhere along the way Swap Magic will kill my PS2. The version is just plain version 3, but I'm still not sure. IS THIS TRUE? CUZ IF IT IS, THATS NOT GOOD!!!! SO PLEASE REPLY SO MAYBE YOU CAN EASE MY WORRIES!
Ok, I'm gonna make a couple threads for different little clues, then maybe try to put them together to make a final theory thread. So, first off, the letter(s) from the King. In the epilogue to Kingdom Hearts 1, Pluto appears (how does he appear, what happened to him in Traverse Town after he found Sora and ran away? Where did he go?) and he has a letter in his mouth with the King's seal. Ok, so here are a few odd things. Pluto appears out of nowhere to this path they're on after disappearing with a letter from the King. Another speculation, where is this place they are in? I know it eventually leads to Castle Oblivion, but why did they appear here after locking the door to Kingdom Hearts while Kairi and everyone else in all the worlds went back to their homes? And why did Pluto somehow appear here, along with something the King must have given him then, (or maybe the King gave it to him before?). Ok, so this will lead to a couple new ideas. If you haven't noticed (most have), you never find out if Sora, Donald, and Goofy actually read the letter and what it says. Also, at the beginning of Chain of Memories, Pluto isn't there. They chased him at the end of KH1, and Chain of Memories begins with (most likely) that same night, with all of them asleep. But what happened to Pluto? Hehe, well this leads to something. In Kingdom Hearts II, Axel comes to Destiny Islands to kidnap Kairi. When he opens the dark portal, Pluto comes rushing out (something like that happens), and from then on to The World That Never Was, Pluto is with Kairi, AND Pluto is locked up with Kairi in the castle dungeon. HERE IS A POSSIBILITY. During the end of KH1 / beginning of KH: COM, something must have happened to Pluto that hasn't been revealed (yet). He most probably still had the letter, though. It's very possible that as he was being chased, he accidentaly ran into a dark portal (somewhere in the distance from Sora, Donald, and Goofy) that some Organization member was using, seeing as this place was very near to Castle Oblivion. For that entire year, he was probably bouncing around from one dark passage to another, as he was very hyper. When Axel eventually opened one, he came out again, and found Kairi, who he seemed to like. When Axel took Kairi back, Pluto came along. It's possible that the Organization members found the letter that Pluto was carrying and confiscated it. There was probably something very important in there that the Organization members found dangerous for others to know. So, here's what may have happened: In the epilogue of KH2, Sora, Riku, and Kairi recieve a letter in a bottle from the King. It's possible that after Organization XIII was defeated, the King retrieved his letter back, or maybe it was sent back to his Disney Castle and went he returned at the end of KH2, he found it there. He knew that Sora needed to read it, and so sent it back. Or maybe the letter had a journey of its own, because it DID appear in a bottle. The King is smart enough to know that there is a VERY small chance that if he puts it in a bottle and throws it out to sea, that it will eventually reach Sora. Anything is possible. Also, it's never revealed what happens to Pluto at the end of KH2, or maybe it is in the short epilogues during the credits, I'm not sure, but if its not, it's possible that Pluto may play yet another big part that you think is very small. At the end when Sora and Riku return to Destiny Islands, Donald, Goofy, the King, and Kairi are all there, but Pluto isn't. I also just noticed something else. When Namine opened the portal after they thought they defeated Xemnas, how did she know it led to Destiny Islands and how did she even open it if she wasn't dark? And why did everyone (the King, Donald, and Goofy) go right through when they didn't even know where it led to? How would they know it led to Destiny Islands? And once they got there, in the little epilogues, it shows that they return to their Disney Castle. Well, how did they get there from Destiny Islands? They didn't even have a Gummi Ship. Ok, well take this in consideration, HOPE YOU DIDNT GET TOO BORED, and please reply!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Also, aside from the topic, here's another thing about the path in the end of KH1. THIS HUGE PATH WAS SOME UNKNOWN PLACE LEADING TO CASTLE OBLIVION, WITH SOME CROSSROADS AT ONE POINT (WHERE CHAIN OF MEMORIES BEGINS). IN THE SUNSET HORIZONS SECRET ENDING IN KH2, THERE ARE CROSSROADS, AND ITS SOME HUGE PATH. COINCIDENCE? MAYBE. Now another thing about this little path. One thread here in the forums is about how the dragon you fight before the final battle with Xemnas in KH2 is the monster that appears in Sunset Horizons, and that many of the weapons of the Organization XIII members are there too (take a close look at the video, and you'll see that this could be true). If this path is the same path as the one at the end of KH1, it could very be true that the Org. XIII weapons and the monster really are there. WHY? Here's why: The path leads to Castle Oblivion, a headquarters for about half of the Organization. It's possible that maybe even the entire Organization at some point used to use Castle Oblivion, so maybe some of there things are there? Whatever. PLEASE REPLY!!!!!!!!
Some Kh3 Theories, And Disney Chars. Opinion there should be in kh3 for sure (donald, goofy, mickey, other worlds). like honestly. but here is wut i think (some opinions about kh3, nothin to do with disney chars.) if it comes out for ps3, it definitely should have really good graphics (like beginning and end fmv style) throughout the game and should be a little more intense. like i mean, kh1 was sorta kiddy, but still relle good obviously. kh: com was a little more intense, kh2 became relle crazy, so i think kh3 should be like enough to be teen rated even. also, i have a couple theories. for one thing, i think there will be an in-between game like kh:com for psp or nintendo ds or something that kinda continues soras story. the thing is, remember the armored guys from Sunset Horizens (however u spell it)? well, its rumored that it takes place way before or way after kh, but in kh2: final mix+, u get to fight him just like how u got to fight xemnas in kh1 final mix, but didnt kno wut it was about. its most probably after. i think kh3 and kh2 (including in-between game) will sorta tie in, along with sora, but i think it will focus more on the armored guys and the history of the keyblade and xehanort (it says in ansem reports tht he lost his memory, possibly hes the armored guy tht the three see in the distance walking up). so yeah, hope u enjoyed this theory of mine and didnt get so bored u felt like punching me in the face.
