Twilight took a small peice of fish, grinning thankfully up at Gharanth. "I hope it taste as good as it smells." She laughed, taking a bite and nodding. "No surprise there. It's delicious, Gharanth." She turned her eyes on Cole. "And i think it's great that you do not seek orbs for power. You're too younge to be out fighting the world. I do hope your travels have been peaceful?"
"How nice. It's so refreshing to see such a friendship. And...you carry orbs as well as Gharanth i suppose?" She sat carefully down near Gharanth, avoiding the smoke of the fire.
"Really, Gharanth? You cook?" Her stomache growled a bit. "I guess my stomache thanks you. I myself can't cook for beans." She laughed. "I can't really cook beans eather." She turned to Cole. "So, is it just you two out here?"
"Im charmed myself. It's not everyday i get to see new faces. I've been traveling alone for some time." The corner of her mouth turned down. "It's so good to meet you."
Twilight laughed a bit. "I'm Twilight. And who might you two be?"
Twilight smiled at Cole and Natalie as nice as she could. "Hello. Are you Gharanth's friends?"
"You do not look old." Twilight turned to face him, her eyes watching his. "And one day you will see that all is not lost from the world. I will show you. Give the world time and you may see that although there is evil, it is not such an evil place. Now come and rest and we will talk tomorrow." Twilight turned back around and started walking. She wanted to help him if only he would let her. ooc: gotta go. I'll be on later though.
"I do not think i would kill you. I have seen evil people, and you are not one of them, at least not at this time. I once met a man who's brother was deamon, and his father and him kicked him right out of the house. That is evil, for they still have no regrets. You may have had your share of crimes and more, but it's now that counts."
"You shouldn't have trouble living with yourself." She stepped over some roots. "You seem to have much honor and hope...if you look deep enough." She sighed. "And you have so much truth in your eyes. I do not see a criminal. I see a confused man who needs faith."
Twilight smiled genuinly and nodded. "Gharanth, what a nice name. And I carry no orbs. And if you carry as many as i think you do, it may be you who needs protection." She winked. "And no curse is going to scare me." She started forward but stopped. "Do you have anything to do before we head west. It is only a twenty minute walk to the camp but if you have anybody to see then i am ready to wait. I hadn't wanted to go home right away anyways."
"We don't choose who lives and who dies. You didn't fail your friend, it was just his time to go. He must have fulfilled his purpose somehow. In some way." She stood up, looking down at him. "Listen my friend. You may come with me if you need somewhere to go. I have a small camp to the west and i could use a companion. But please. I do not yet know your name."
"And it's good not to forget." She dipped a stick into the water. "I'm sure he is happy...wherever he is now...and eventually, you will see him again. For now, just remeber that he is probably happy you live to move on. To see another day." She smiled at him, trying to make him feel better. "That's the thing with friendship. If one is happy, so is the other."
"A friend of yours, i am guessing." Twilight sat next to him, holding him with her eyes. "A friend you had hope in." She paused, the corner of her mouth dropping as if she was trying to understand his pain but could not. "Power...physically strong...can sometimes tear apart the closest realationships...but that's not any reason to give up on life. You simply keep your memories close and try harder. Cause you know it is never the end." Twilight flattened her pants leg, apparently feeling a little uncomfortable but not showing it. "But you don't need to listen to me. Why should you? You don't even know my name. Im..." She held her hand out to him, "Twilight."
Twilight frowned a bit. Her navy blue eyes examining Gharanth. "I'm not after power if that's what you're asking. You just look troubled and i came to talk." She sheathed her feather looking blade with a sigh. "But if you want me to leave..."
