Jasper looked towards the sky. It was already lighter out. They had a few hours maybe. He yawned and followed Encalla inside, dreading the morning.
Twilight grinned, "Nothing stops you." She lay her head against him. "If the lightning orb is easiest, that should be our first priority. But if it means you getting hurt in any way, we leave it there."
Jasper let out a breath, running a hand up through his copper brown hair. "We'll comtinue towards the next town. If we pass one, tell us, Encalla. We can check around the hideouts for any signs that people have been there." He looked down at the girl. "Sound good?"
