Jacob smiled at her, eyes sparkling. "Yeah. You better not get too close. I might bite you." He joked with a small laugh, rolling his eyes. "And I wasn't scared. I was surprised."
Jacob jumped, almost falling into the fountain. He spun around but when he saw it was her, he relaxed. "Don't do that...you surprised me." He sighed, sitting back down with a smirk. "And i don't sleep, I rest."
Jake closed his eyes, just resting a little, letting the sun warm his face and soak up his stress in the orange light.
Jacob leaned against the fountain, picking at a pack of half stale ritz crackers. He tossed a few to the pigeons gathered around him, watching them scatter and flap for the crumbs.
Jacob was used to waking up early and he was up to watch the sunrise the next morning. His dorm was one of the cheapest, one without any windows, so he had to step outside to see it, sitting on the small fountain in the school court-yard.
Jake was stunned by her hug but he couldn't say he wasn't pleased. He patted her on the back lightly, his lips twitching into a smile. "Yeah...tomorrow...er...Good night." He pulled on his goggles and reved his engine, jerking back on his back wheel and giving the sky a loud. "YES!" As he drove down the road and out of sight.
Jake sighed. Helping her off the bike as the stranger approached. "I gotta go." He said to Alyce with a smirk. "I guess I'll see you tomorrow in class?" He brushed his hand through his hair sitting back on his bike.
"Good. Cause it's time to get this bike running." He let go of the throttle completely, feeling the wind brush back his hair and watching the buildings whir passed them in a strange blur of color. It was all too soon that they reached the campus again and he slowed the bike again.
Jacob sped the bike down the road, past the dorms and taking a right near the police station, casually slowing down in front of it to the speed limit, as soon as they were passed it, he picked up speed again. He grinned as he felt her arms tighten a bit and he glanced back at her. "You doing alright back there?"
He smirked, taking her arms and wrapping them around his waist. "Don't worry. I won't let you fall." He reved the motor. "Hold tight." He whispered. Then he let go of the ignition and the bike jerked to life.
"Oh it rides...It's just not so good on the eyes." He swung his leg over the bike, patting the seat behind him. "Room for two."
Jake's face got bitter for a moment but he plastered on a smile. "It was the cheapest paint they had. I didn't have enough for any other color." He chewed his lip a little, not knowing how she'd react. "Do you...wanna go for a ride?"
Jake looked at his plain, black painted bike. How flashy could it be? It wasn't like he could afford anything better. He shrugged off her comment though, turning back to Alyce .
"I got stopped on the way for speeding." Jake laughed jokingly, watching Alyce's face closely.
Jake sped around the corner, nearing the group of girls again. He pulled on his handle bars, showing off his skills as he drove the bike on its back wheel. He skid to a stop next to them and bowed. ooc:fastest shower ive ever taken...
"I personally save the sleeping for Math class..." He laughed a little, wathing the three girls with a smirk. He hadn't expected to make friends this easily. ooc: shoot. I have to take a shower. Will you guys still be here in 7 minutes? Cause ill be on then. Jake pulled on his goggles. "Im gonna do a quick lap around the block on the bike. Be back in 7 minutes flat."
"Cool. Seventeen? Really?" He chuckled, looking at the sky and leaning against his bike, crossing his arms over his chest. "It isn't too late yet. We still have time. You should sleep if you're tired though."
Jacob grinned his crooked grin and ran a hand through his hair. "I guess I can. I hope I don't die too soon though. That would Blow. Im only 17...well...next week ill be 17 at least."
"Don't take it personally. You three are beautiful. But Girl and bikes...I didn't think i'd see the day."
He cleared his throat looking the three of them over. "Yeah...fine...Just deciding if you guys are robots or not."
