I accept. Game on! My move! I draw! *Hand 6* -Standby Phase- N/A -Main Phase 1- I activate the field spell magical citadel of endymion! Now I play the spell card pot of greed! *Hand 6* *Spell counters: 1* Now I activate the spell card field barrier! *Spell counters: 2* Now I normal summon double coston in attack mode! I set three cards face-down. Then I activate the spell card Mirage of Nightmare! *Spell Counters: 3* -End Phase- That ends my turn... *Hand: 0 cards* Field: My LP: 12000 Your LP: 12000
@Aqua If you still want to duel, then name your terms...
Yeah, sure. It'll give me a chance to test out this new deck... should be fun...
That's odd... I'm here, but my image is still on the card... How confusing...
8600 damage in total
8600 total damage
*Wants to test out his own completely new deck*
My point, if you will allow me to make it, is that you wait until you have enough monsters in play to make the deck work, then summon it so your opponent cannot do the same... I'll shut up about it now as well...
Hence it isn't actually a lightsworn deck. Meaning a twilight deck is both light AND dark... you can look it up on the wiki if you like... http://yugioh.wikia.com/wiki/Twilight All right, all right... I get it... I'll take out the bloody Krystia... I only put it in in the first place when I saw my friend using it in his normal twilight deck to great effect... Just something to consider: There's been an almost 2-page discussion about whether or not I should 1 card out of 60 in my deck. (Yes, Kristya was only present in my 60-card level)
You have a fair point, but could you explain a bit on what this part means?
Unlike a number of monsters with that effect, however, Krystia can still be tribute summoned...
How does it not belong? It's not like that's the ONLY way to summon it. You can still go the long way for it, and as long as you use it properly, it's very effective...
Yeah! I won! Now, I'm going to go find Kaiba!
That's game either way...
That's all well and good, but with your hand once again at 0, what's to stop the attack? Still at a total of 11,800...
Okay. Then I activate Monster Reincarnation! I discard: Returning: Now that I have 4 fairies in my graveyard again, NOW I special summon Archlord Krystia! -Battle Phase- Now I attack directly with Judgment Dragon!
The point of it being able to stop special summoning is that it stops their special summons, so I do it after my monsters are already on the field... sorta like what a blackwing deck does with royal oppression... Hang on... if you do that, what happens to Krystia? Is it still in my hand or what?
True. For example, the only way to stop Jinzo's effect with a trap would be a counter trap to negate it's summon.
My turn! -Draw phase skipped 1/2- -Standby Phase- N/A -Main Phase 1- I activate the spell charge of the light brigade! Milling: Adding: Now, since I have at least 4 different 'Lightsworn's in my graveyard, I special summon Judgment Dragon from my hand in attack mode! I activate it's effect, paying 1000 life points in order to destroy everything on the field but itself! Now, I remove from play my Plaguespreader Zombie, along with my Wulf... In order to special summon Black Luster Soldier - Envoy of the Beginning in attack mode! I also remove Caius the Shadow Monarch, along with Garoth... To special summon Chaos Emperor Dragon - Envoy of the End in attack mode! Now, since I have exactly 3 dark monsters in my graveyard, I special summon Dark Armed Dragon in attack mode! Since I also have exactly 4 Fairy-type monsters in my graveyard, I special summon Archlord Krystia in attack mode! *Also adds Shire from graveyard to hand by Kristya's effect* -Battle Phase- Now, see exactly how 'untrained' I am! Judgment Dragon, direct attack! Anything? If not, total is 3000x3 = 9000 + 2800 + 2800 = 14,600...
