Bella gasped, freezing in her paces. "Erin...well...hi..." She slowly reached for the small dagger she hid in her belt, face pale, eyes wide.
Roxy smiled brightly. "Well what are we waiting for?" She headed towards the office.
Twilight stood, ready to practice with Gharanth again.
Roxy shrugged. "I was actually headed to his office to see what I could find. Wanna come? If we see him, you can be the one to push him out a window."
Bella walked into a row of buildings that was mostly empty, ending in a dead end. "Well that isn't right." She frowned. "Maybe I took a wrong turn. " She went to head back the way she came.
Roxy made a face. "That isn't right...hm...I wonder whathe'd do to me if I stole something from him...he had a nice watch..." She grinned to show she was just kidding....mostly.
Jake shook his head. "He should have took acting lessons before he tried to copy me." He grinned his half smile at her, the one he always did. "It isn't that easy to be me. I mean, you need looks, brains..." He flexed his muscle jokingly. "Strength."
Roxy stumbled. "Slapped? What the heck did you do to get that?"
Bella didn't notice Erin.
"Well I only got here a few hours ago. The rules are annoying but rules are just there so we can break them, and breaking ruled is my favorite passtime."
"Did you know it wasn't me?" Jake asked, turning to look at her again.
Roxy laughed. "Sick of this place already?"
Bella pushed through the croud, not paying much attention to the groups of knights she passed. She knew that if she wathced them, they might suspect she was an orphan. There was always the chance that Erin would spot her though. Erin was the only knight she really feared, although she tried not to show it.
Roxy laughed out loud but stopped, realizing she wasn't joking. "Lost?...oh...well...where were you headed? I can probably show you the way if you like."
Bella stood up, watching the town. It was easy to see where knights were as they wore uniforms that stuck out in the croud.
Jake nodded and shrugged. "As much as I love the shadow taking over my body and hurting my friends, i'm kinda glad he's on vacation too." He laughed, winking at Alyce.
Roxy smiled friendly. "Roxy." She looked around the hallway. "This place gives me the creeps."
Jake frowned a little but wiped it away, replacing it with a weak smile. "I just...don't like the word." He shrugged, turning so his back was to her. "I wonder where the shadow is right now." He watched the hallway. "It's been quiet."
Roxy stood up from her crouched position in the shadows. "Hey, you're that girl I saw earlier."
Roxy stepped down the hallway. She wasn't one to get caught by athority figures. That's what happened when you were a theif, you learn when to walk and when to stay put. She turned the corner seeing a girl in front of her. "Hello?"
