I pick most of the time the shield and got rid of the staff. The first time I played, I did pick the sword but always get rid of the staff. Guess being a mage isn't for me :3
I did had a bad time with him at the fight at hollow bastion when I first play KH2... The anti-form kinda save me back then. Now, he's a piece of cake.
