Emilia was feeling rather satisfied with her work as the Awakened began to make his getaway. She watched with awe as the Horseman landed perfectly on his feet, the ground cracking as he landed. Knowing the power the man must hold, she began to wonder just what she was being thrown into. She took another deep breath as she saw the Horseman running after the Awakened. She held her arms out straight, angled downwards, with her palms facing the ground. Mentally judging how fast the Horseman was running, she brought her arms up, feeling the power that she was using on the earth, and in the Horseman's path quickly rose a makeshift wall made of earth and cement. She knew with his power she couldn't stop him completely, but she only hoped to slow him down enough to buy the Awakened time to escape.

The only real surgery I've ever had was getting a cyst removed. I remember feeling so nervous and scared before then, but it must be like a paper cut compared to what you're going through. :C

Just know that we're all supporting you. And I can't even describe how incredibly brave you are for committing yourself to this.

Stay strong. We're here for you. <3

The balanced one that tries to make people smile when they need it, even if that means physically pulling the corners of one's mouth up. Along with this job comes the duty of telling people when they're being stupid.

I still have that whole level memorized. Gosh, I loved that game.

But I can't tell if this guy is just being funny, or if he's schizophrenic. ._.

    It's also funny you should say that, too.... ;~;

Tosh.O's spoiler investigation of it. That's as far as I suggest anyone goes, if you're that curious.

This is just one of those things where it's like "everyone's saying not to watch it, but that makes me want to watch it. It's just one of the 'two girls, one cup' things." It's so much worse. Oh heaven, it's so much worse. But after watching, you can't not tell people to not watch it.

It's funny you should ask that...

I don't think I have the will to answer that. Let's just say it plays a major part in the story.

You're not alone, I was thoroughly freaked out of my mind. ;_; I don't usually even flinch at horror/thrillers, but this was just something else enitrely. I'm still feeling the aftermath.

nononononononononono, please tell that's not a permanent tattoo. >.<

I couldn't decide whether to laugh, cry, or vomit.

All that I did manage to do was say "what the ****" at regular intervals.

    Don't watch it.

I know Toy Story 3 will win over HTTYD because everyone's jizzing over it, but I just thoroughly enjoyed HTTYD more. I liked Toy Story 3, just for some reason not as much as Toy Story 2. :/

And yeah, I wasn't expecting too much for the Deathly Hallows. There might be more consideration for the last movie, though.

The sound editing/design doesn't consider the musical score, rather the created sound effects used in the film.

However I was also surprised that it didn't get at least nominated for art direction.

For the full list of nominees: http://www.imdb.com/features/oscars/2011/nominations

There are 10 nominees for Best Picture again this year, which I can't tell whether it's annoying or justified. I think it's somewhere in between.

Christopher Nolan totally got snubbed from the Best Achievement in Directing category.

Sooooooo happy that Hailee Steinfeld got nominated for Best Supporting Actress. At 14, she's the youngest person to be nominated for that category. SEE TRUE GRIT IF YOU HAVEN'T YET.

And I'm still campaigning for How To Train Your Dragon's superiority over Toy Story 3.

    Soooooooooooooooo: thoughts? comments?

I don't want to share my views on the thread topic right now, but I just have to say that I see these comments as quite out-of-line. And I'm really sorry if this gets the thread further off topic, but I really just have to say it. Realize that it is perhaps for the reasons that you mentioned that "9001" is trying to make a change. Even if I don't completely agree with his views, that doesn't change the fact that he has the right to do so. If he's in the wrong for trying, you're just as wrong for saying there's no point for him to try in the first place. The fact that you, perhaps unknowingly, dismissed Martin Luther King Jr's impact on today's society was just ignorant and vaguely relevant. If "9001" wants to change something that he finds is wrong, then there's no commendable reason whatsoever to say that he can't try and accomplish it, or at least make some sort of change. Society isn't fixed into a specific, unchangeable state. The basis of a successful society is change.

Horseman? The word caught Emilia off guard. But before she could dwell on the thought, the one who called himself a "Horseman" was directing a flaming fist -- literally -- at the Awakened. Reflexively, Emilia brought her right leg up high, and stomped her heel into the ground, directing the energy to the part of the ground the Horseman stood on, causing a roughly circular patch of ground underneath the man to jut up about seven feet into the air, in a pedestal-like fashion. She wasn't sure if her presence would remain unknown for much longer, but she could still hope. She was about a dozen metres away from the confrontation. But it was only then that she noticed that the old cement road was cracked and raised in a line leading from the fight back to where she stood, at the corner of the street.
