There was a small groan a little off from where Drake was, Keith turned his head, "You hear that Drake?" he said continuing to walk quielty.
Pippi looked around as she ran trying to find the two, she yelled, "Seth!" she said repeatedly yelling it worrying as she ran through the forest. She tripped got up and looked around helplessly.
"Your teasing me aren't you?" he said stretching his arms ,"Well at least we can't attack eachother if we can't find ourselves, right? Maybe i should look for Crystal, if its possible in this dark."
"Oh Seth, " she said smiling, "Definately the same as you were, before." she said.
Pippi smiled and looked over at him, "i don't know if she'll let you off this easy Seth." she said with a small smile.
Keith smiled and nodded, "I'm fine, and i agree, i'd rather not be shot again." he said sighing as he looked around ,"Ansem, was this the work of one of the twins?" he said question as he walked around in the darkness.
Ace and Keith ran at full speed, clashing as everything suddenly went dark, "Whats happening," he thought as he looked around.
Keith smiled and looked over at Ansem, "Don't worry i won't get that hurt this time. Ace smiled," Are you sure?" he said as he raised his gun for a second and lowered it, suddenly a bullet flew by Drakes head and the other was quickly reflected by Keiths keyblade. "I'm sure, i won't be as predictable as last time." Keith turned his attention towards Dante, "somethings a little off about him." he said quietly as he watched Dante walk over to Drake.
Keith looked over at Drake, "The X-blade , its suppose to be the most powerful keyblade ever , and with it worlds are in danger, it should of never existed. The only way to bring back this blade is to join together all three parts, the two halfs of the key to unlocking the X-blade and the barer of the x-blade itself, right now the two halfs are Dante and Crystal, and the barer of the x-blade is Phisoxa Mindell. i was trying to get Crystal away from them but that mafia shot me three times." he said glaring at Ace. Keith looked over at Dante, "This time i'm not running, " he said smiling as he summoned his keyblade.
"That blade will be too powerful if it is awakened, it should of never existed, " said a voice that walked up beside Drake, Keith stood next to him in his clean clothes and his red stained white hair, he smiled and looked at Ace who seemed shocked, "Thought you killed me off huh? You can thank Dante's daughter for that." he said as he held up the three bullets he had been shot with and crushed them to dust. Crystal looked up relieved to see Keith was okay.
"We are no other than yours truly, the Steel Mafia, and i wouldn't try to take us on unless you want to end up like Keith." he said grinning.
"She woke up right when that Mafia picked her up, she looked at me with fright in her eyes, i don't think i can ever forget that," he thought to himself as he closed his eyes with sadness. Cyrstal looked at the ground then looked up seeing Drake running towards them, she looked at him. Ace turned his head and noticed a man running towards him, "This can't be good," he said sighing.
Keith looked up at Ansem, "they took her.." he said as he tried to sit up, he let out a small groan as he sat up all the way. "I'm sorry that this happened.." i should of been more stronger, he let a yell out as he felt even more pain from the bullets.
A puddle of blood surrounded Keith as he tried to grab Dante's leg as they left, Keith tried to stand up but painfully fell over again. He turned his head towards the door he heard creak, his white hair stained with red.
Keith looked as Dante looked straight his way, those dark blue eyes stared at him, he felt uncomfortable. Suddenly Crystal's eyes opened revealing to be the same dark blue as Dante's, but yet Crystal seemed emotionless. "They are getting close, "Keith thought to himself. He shot a gust of Blizzard from his keyblade that hit both Dante and the attic floor sending Keith and Crystal landing back on the floor they were at. Keith was almost outside as he felt a sudden pain below his chest, but he kept running and felt it again, it was worse, he looked up seeing Ace infront of him a few feet off, Ace smirked as he put down his gun, and Keith looked down to see three gun shots that had hit him, he fell over a few feet away from the exit and dropped Cyrstal. Ace walked up to him and picked up Crystal, "Thats for you destroying my other gun.
Ace quickly searched each corridor and came back shaking his head, "I didn't find anything, not a clue Dante, " he said sighing as he looked up, and noticed something, "Dante look!!" he said pointing to a small door in the ceiling of the hallway, "You think he climbed up there?" Shira nodded and waved as Drake ran to the castle.
Keith heard Dante's voice and ran faster, he disappeared behind the corner, Ace followed after him when he came to the corner he stood in shock,"Dante, hes gone," he said confused as he looked around. Shira nodded , hugged him ,and walked out to the feild Seth was in, "I'll try, " she called out as she told Seth to say goodbye to dad for now.
Keith nodded and stopped, "Thank you Ansem, till next time." he said running out the door till he was near the secret exit. Ace was trying to wedge open the front entrance but was having no luck, "This stupid door won't open." he said trying to pull it with all his strength. Shira smiled,"Yeah thats one thing i'm grateful for, that we came to save you." she said as she looked over at the palace.
Ace turned around in fright as a tall figure loomed over him, "Dante? What are you doing sneaking up on me like that?" he asked. "Nevermind, anyways i'm trying to get the other half of the key," he said pointing to a window in the castle. Keith looked out the window again seeing Dante," there is something different about him" he thought as he turned to Ansem, "It's not going to be easy, it seems Dante is already outside, i'll take Crystal and leave to somewhere else in the castle, i don't want the two to get hurt, " he said looking over at the twins as they played happily, Keith hoisted the girl onto his back and looked over at Ansem. Shira nodded and wiped her eyes,"I know, it just that was one of my most dreaded memories,don't think you suffered seeing them die alone" she said as she looked up at him.
Keith let out a sigh, "This is exactly what i feared to happen, she won't awake till she is close to the others, that means Dante and Phisoxa, or until the X-blade awakes." he said as he looked out the window noticing one of the mafia walking close to where they were. "seems we have company." Shira tried to smiled but more tears ran down her cheeks,"i can't help it, i lost many friends that day," she looked over at Drake, "I still have worries, and thats mostly about you, will you be alright, you fight the dark everyday, who am i to know if you'll make it home." she said with dread.
