"Full..." Dawn was amazed, reaching out a hand to pet him. "I only have a mouse." She reached into her pocket and pulled a small, blue eyed, black mouse. "Max."
Dawn blushed a little, standing up with a bright smile. "Oh gosh..." She saw Silver. "What a beautiful dog." She knelt down by him. "Part wolf maybe?"
Dawn dusted herself off, looking up at him. "Er...y-yeah..." She smiled, looking at her feet. "Two left feet..." She explained.
"I wonder how they have controlled the spirits. It's no easy thing to do."
Matt thought for a moment. "You...were raised into your job?"
Matt saw something in Clarisse's eyes and hesitated. "Quite alright there, miss Clarisse?"
Dawn stopped, seeing Jake and his dog under a tree she waved, running over but tripping over her feet, landing in the grass. 'I am such a clutz...'
"Clifton used to make me study ancient civilyzations(sp?) and things like that. Those were Reslin soldiers...or used to be. They were actually one of the most honorable soldiers of their time. They did kill though, and were tought that the ends justify the means. They slaughtered all enemies, but left living only those who surrendered to them truely and completely..." Twilight blushed, realizing she knew more about ghosts than her likings. "They were...testing our knowledge perhaps?"
Dawn walked around the school, looking for something to do. Maybe she would find Jake. She hadn't been able to talk to him all that much.
Matt began trudging through the forest, looking back to make sure Clarisse was still with him. She was actually doing better than himself. She may have been rich and pampered but she could certainly survive in the wilderness.
"Just trust me...don't...move..." The ghosts slowed, drifting around them, faces inches away, weaponds drawn. "We...surrender..." Twilight whispered, her breath visible in front of her face, reminding her of the cold. One of the warriors drew back his sword, aiming it at her. He lundges forward and Twilight closed her eyes. He charged straight through her, not hurting her at all, and disappeared. The other ghosts vanishing behind it. Twilight drew in a sharp breath, realizing she'd been holding it.
Twilight thought for a moment. "I...only worked with spirits once...There was one haunting Cliffton once but..." She racked her brain. "Oh gosh..." She saw a strange crest on their metal armor. She knew that crest! They were Reslin soldiers! She knew about them! She raised her arms as if in defeat, dropping her blade. "We surrender!" She shouted at them. Then to Gharanth, "Let them go, don't move."
ooc: clarrise commented on matt and raina and Matt insists that they head into the forest soon.
ooc: walks up to who? Dawn looked over at Jake who was sitting under a tree. She jumped off the wall and walked over, switching off her i-pod. "Hi. I don't remember seeing you before. I'm Dawn."
Twilight drew her own blade. "I'd much rather prrefer, bunnies...living...breathing...not dead bunnies." The warriors charged at them. Twilight counted five of them.
Twilight dusted some sand off herself, still nervous dispite Gharanth's assurance. She looked towards the quicksand she had been in just seconds ago, feeling aweful vibes gushing from it. A second later, transparent figures burst from the sand, their mangled faces the ones or warriors that had at one point, been human.
ooc: no problem...i didnt help much though. Dawn switched the song on her i-pod, 'Numb' began to play in her headphones.
ooc: I haven't been on long. All I know is that Dawn is sitting outside on a wall.
She clutched his arm, still chest deep in the sand. "Where's...the earth orb when...you need it?" She managed a smile, pulling herself up little by little. She paused for a moment. Looking i at the quicksand. "Kind of weak isn't it?" She asked, still struggling out of the sand. "Something isn't right..." Just as she said it, the temperature began to drop. 'Ghosts...' ooc: decided that quicksand was too easy for level two...or three...whatever level their on. How about some undead spirits? I hear they really Liven the place up!...I know...that was aweful...
Matt stood for a moment. He had to stop and think about what she had said. He shook his head. He'd mull it over later. Right now, they had a forest to search.
