Sounds more like Post Nasal Drip to me. It lasts for a week or two and it makes swallowing and waking up in the morning a nightmare. Drink tea with honey and lemon, and constantly use cough drops. There's really not much you can do about it. It goes away on it's own, but the above things should help ease the swelling and it won't hurt as much. -Always- go to a doctor regardless of what you think it is, though. Better safe than sorry.

Different aspect ratios? There are only 2 commonly used aspect ratios, which are 16:9 and 4:3, and if the video was captured under one of those, and changed to the other, outcome wouldn't be too pretty.. Edit: When you watch a video in the gallery, it's not in a different aspect ratio. It's using a letterbox format, which just cuts the video at the top and bottom. Changing aspect ratios is completely different.
