People who want to succeed need to do homework, Arch. Succeed. /hypocrisy
Did you know he sings? 'Cause he sings. When I found out that he sings, I was all like: O.O, and then I was all like: :=D: [spoiler]
Quaint, small writing covered almost half of Eira's page. She scribbled a few more notes after glancing at the page of the book that was assigned every few seconds. After finishing as much as she was willing to do, she ripped the page out of the notebook so that she wouldn't forget to hand it in. She flipped the pen upside-down and clicked the point back in before nearly throwing it into the crease in her notebook and snapping the book shut. Arms crossed over her desk, she layed her head down, thinking she might be able to sleep for a little before the teacher kicked her out of the room. She hadn't had a contract in several weeks, and was starting to get uncharacteristically anxious; anxious enough that she was losing sleep at night. Something just wasn't feeling right, these days. A twinge of envy stirred in her when she overheard Seven talk about getting "the odd contract here and there", but she kept still, with her head down and her eyes half closed.
'Kay, so yeah, bumpage. I just wanted to say that this movie was pretty darn awesome. I think they sugar-coated the ending a little more than they should have. In my opinion, it would have been more hard-hitting if they didn't make it as happy of an ending. It was probably the production company that went "make this movie happy" like they usually do. :B|: But that's just me. Awesometastic movie anyhow.
</3 For me, it was Cars. Truthfully, I just found it kind of boring as far as Pixar films go. Parts of it seemed quite redundant to me ("we're gonna make you pave this road as punishment for like the 5th time in the movie") ("let's go into this corn field and scare those things, yaaay"), and I felt like turning it off before the halfway mark. The only Pixar movie that I haven't seen is Ratatouille. I don't have much of a desire to see it, either. I have never heard of anyone especially drooling over it.
I think yes. >8D [spoiler]
:=D: I missed you. Where did you go?
ALSDKFJA;LSDKFJ;ASLDKFJASL HAPPY EARLY BIRTHDAY! 8DDDD glNjsOHiBYs
We go on those tour/open-house things in our final year. They have a week in October and a week in March that they do them. I mean, you can go in your junior/Grade 11 year if you have an idea of where you want to go, but they don't expect you to. The deadline to apply to a universtiy is December of your senior/Grade 12 year, and for colleges I think it's sometime in January. :/ Did. :'D I concur.
They have plum. 8D8
Big Dafogills. [IMG] Innit pretty? C:
:'D Cat! I've been ok. I haven't seen you around in a long time. How are you?
:'3 Ah, I love Big Fish. And daffodils.
Eira barely listened to the teacher; only acknowledging her own presence when her name was called by lifting her book bag off the ground and letting it drop onto the desk with an exaggerated thud. She would need it there in case she felt the urge to use it as a pillow. Half of her wanted to be interested in what was being taught, but since not much was actually taught in this class, she just wanted to get it over with.
I don't think that was a news station, it seemed like it was on one of those "amazing things caught on video" kind of shows. News stations are never supposed to show bias on something they're reporting, no matter the situation. If that were a news report, the station would have gotten in a lot of trouble almost immediately.
OOC: Changing my colour before I start to avoid confusion. BIC: Eira nudged her locker door with her elbow with just enough force to have it close by itself. She slung her book bag over her shoulder while glancing at the clock hanging on the hallway wall. She was going to be a little bit late for her next class. She set off towards the third floor of the school, walking briskly, but not really hurrying. It wasn't exactly uncommon for her to be late for class. She turned down the hallway with her class just in time to see the teacher walking in the door. She slowed her pace so that her steps were nearly silent before approaching the door. Upon entering the class, she wasn't surprised to see that just about all of the other students were in their seats already. As subtly and quietly as possible, she sat in one of the few remaining seats, to the right of "number seven".
What I got from that video is that the bus driver was going for the girl (what I would assume would be physical handling), and the kid who swore at him was trying to divert his attention away from her so that the driver wouldn't grab her or something. That's just how it appeared to me. I don't know the whole story, so I'm not taking any sides. For sure, the kids shouldn't have been being jackasses, but as a school bus driver, I would have expected a lot more self-control around children, no matter how rowdy and rude they were. Kick them off the bus if they've gotten to the point when you can't handle them. But an adult that's entrusted with their safety should never lay a hand on them, especially for a stupidly pointless reason such as a kid saying a rude word.
My break was back in March. D: Then the best thing you can do is see which school appeals to you more, judging on the atmosphere and the campus. I thought you had another year of high school left. :< I didn't know what I wanted to do until the beginning of Grade 12.
Hey, last time it was Bueno's fault, not mine. :<
