-tips hat- Welcome aboard, happy to have ya.
Try using a straw to drink. I tried this after getting three teeth filled last fall. Hardcore fail. Actually, any action that involves pursing your lips and sucking will fail.
BRB, feeling old and nostalgic. /isprettysurenoonehereremembersthisstuff
Alright, going to wrap this whole post in spoilers just to be safe. Spoiler I had to give the book a thorough re-read, as the first time I read it I did so just so when my friends talked about it I wasn't left out of discussion. The second time around, I picked up on things I didn't notice the first time around. Another member had already mentioned how long the camping scene took, and I actually liked how Rowling used this to show how long and tedious it seemed to be for the trio while they were hunting Horcruxes and staying away from Hogwarts. It really set in when Harry and Hermione were in Godric's Hollow and realized it was Christmas Day. Then, like others, I noticed that Dumbledore's intentions, although meant for the greater good, seemed to be driven by the power he knew he had. Reading the Prince's Tale, I realized just how much Dumbledore had Snape wrapped around his finger, and was able to bend him to his will all for the sake of Lily, right up until the very end. I don't remember crying so much before either. I definitely shed a few tears after Dumbledore's death in book 6, but this one had me reaching for the tissue box often. Lupin, Tonks, Fred, Dobby, even Snape's death hit me harder than I thought they would, Snape's even more so after the Prince's Tale. The epilogue? Kinda cutesy, and interesting that Rowling turned Harry into the average wizard trying to live out his life instead of a hyped about celebrity kind of figure.
This is the one I have hooked up: http://www.amazon.com/Cisco-M20-Cis...f=sr_1_36?s=pc&ie=UTF8&qid=1310779124&sr=1-36 I love it. We have 4 laptops, one desktop PC, a printer, the Wii, an Xbox 360, a DSi XL, two iPod Touches, a Nook Color, a tablet, and a BluRay player all hooked up to this thing. It works best for us since we have so many WiFi dependent tech toys, and it's able to support many of them online at the same time. We also like how ours gives us two locked networks: one private locked network that uses a WEP key and recognizes each device's MAC address, while there's a separate guest one that requires a password the system generates every few days. This way if i invite a friend over and he wishes to get online i can share the password with him, it won't be the same one the next time he visits, and the next door neighbor's not mooching off our bandwidth.
Any room left? I'd love to join in. I think I missed out on this week's session (although I have read the book) but would still love to join this. My suggestions? Definitely loving Cirque du Freak at the moment, and while the Silverwing trilogy is, in fact, a trilogy, the books can be read standalone since the next book always summarizes what happened in the last one. I'm also tempted to suggest the medical thriller novels by Robin Cook, as they aren't necessarily a series, can be stand alone, and feature recurring characters, but they can be a bit graphic and really push the PG-13 bit. Think House or Grey's Anatomy crossed with CSI and pumped with steroids.
Y'know, I used to question the same thing myself, but I found after a while that if I gave the album a listen through at least once, I found more tracks that I liked until eventually I liked pretty much everything on the whole album.

Aww, thank you very much! <3
I do. Poor dear's quite misunderstood.
I don't think I can add anymore than what has already been said. Definitely give those links Maka posted a read. And you know that many people here will lend an ear if you just need to vent to somebody.
I'm already working my dream job. I've always wanted to be a teacher, and now I teach a fourth grade class. I still want to do something with art. I toyed with the idea of being a cartoonist in high school, or a manga artist. Since I double majored in college, I thought about playing around with writing/illustrating children's books in two languages. So you could read the story in English on one side, then flip the book over and read it again in Spanish on the other side.
Avatar: 7/10. I'm a sucker for simple ones. Sig:7/10 Quite nice, I like it. Although I read in the voice of the guy from those Dos Equis commercials. "Stay thirsty,my friends".
Could've been worse. That pepper spray could have wound up somewhere else. Anyway, details?
