View attachment 46244 He watched the girl jump out of the chest. 'Hey! Go get that one, I'll get this one!' What they had just met not even five minutes ago and this girl was telling him what to do. He did not know what to think of this girl. He watched the girl run off towards a chest. What was going on. He looked around at see everyone running around with keyblades out. This was odd he kind of felt left out but it was best not have to worry about. So there was this woman in the room and one more chest that he open. He was not going to exactly going and attack this woman and the chest seemed like the better option. He started walking towards the chest and some sort of attack went off and hit him. It was a wave of something that was invisible. He arrived at the chest and look at it for a moment. It was the boy that he had seen on the ground when he arrived. He put his hand on the chest and opened it. Glen was Freed
View attachment 46239 While waiting for some to say something to him, when a dark mist filled the castle halls. He continued to open and close his and then looked around. He wondered what was going on. He then disappeared and found himself in a circular room. Some woman was going on about something. Everyone seemed to be in a magic chest of some sort. He had no clue what was going on. He saw a chest not too far from him with someone he somewhat knew and one of someone he did not. Walking to a chest at random he opened it up and freed Xara. Xara was freed
View attachment 46227 Kaida told him to breathe. He already did this but he did it again anyways. A trial type thing. This was interesting. Failing it seemed to be a bad thing. A trial for what? Was he a part of this unknown test? Kaida then said that she did know if there was any danger inside the castle or not. She then went on about something happening to his home. "What?" He let the word hang there. "You are telling me that it is no longer there?" He stood there for a moment without a word. "I could not keep them safe." He was more talking to himself than anything. His world was gone? He did not know what to say. "It cannot be." Kaida then said that he could help. "I can help...." He had so many thoughts going through his head. Kaida then said he could stay. He was not sure what help he could give them. How was he to help them when he could not even help his own home. Kaida then turned to Hikaru and asked him about the test. He had the look of disrepair on his face while he watched the two. He was so unsure of what was going on. Something had happened Karina? So many names going around. Hikaru then summoned a keyblade. He seemed to be not even trying. The keyblade its self was gold. He then made the keyblade go just then. That was when someone new showed up. Hikaru called them Xara. Then there was talk about spells. It was almost too much for him. Kaida then summed her keyblade. "Does everyone have one?" he asked offhandedly. He opened and closed his hand without purpose. He had lost everything. He soon fond himself surround by more people. He did not think that there would be so many people.
View attachment 46226 'I just wanted to make sure they're okay...I'm Hikaru by the way.' "You want to keep the safe because..." His voice trailed off like something was on his mind. Hikaru then went on about lost these keyblades and only just gained them back. He had so many question on this. Keyblades? There was so many things going on he did not know what to make of it. Hikaru then said he would try to get him home. "Something was off putting with the sky there. There was a darkness about it. There was no felling to it. The sky was all sorts of different colors. The earth opened up holes and it was not really that wonderful. It was different then the realm of darkness. In the realm of darkness it had an evilness to it. It was far different than anything I ever experienced." Hikaru then said something about getting you acquainted with the others. "What wait?" It was too late as Hikaru walked him over to the two girls. Then Hikaru introduced him to the two girls. Kaida then said something about the location isn't exactly ideal. He was not sure what she had met by that so he just smiled at her without saying much. Then there was about being intact. Then he watched Luna wonder off. He looked to Hikaru like he had some questions then he thought better of it. By the way that Hikaru and Kaida talked he got the sense that they knew each other quite well. He got the sense that he was interrupting something by being there. "I hope that I am not interrupting something by being here." He thought of a moment. "This whole keyblade thing is rather new to me. It is all overwhelming." He looked to kaida and Hikaru and wondered if they had something to talk about. "What is this about being intact?" He himself had no idea what was going on. "Is there some sort of danger inside the castle? Something I should be worried about?" His home entered his mind. "What about my home? Is it safe? I want to be them safe. I cannot lose it again. Not again..." His mind going to his mother which was all that he had left. He took a breath and thought for a moment. "I guess it would not hurt to stick around and help out." He then looked to kaida and Hikaru. "I am not sure what kind of help I can bring to this group if any. The group seems to have it all together and I do not want to get in the way. After all you all have known each other longer then you have known me." He thought of what was around here. Could he make a difference here? He could not make one back home. This place felt different in a way. The people here were so friendly. "The keyblades are the answer to help here I am guessing? What can I do to help?" He was after all just one person.
View attachment 46223 He looked down at the teen and lifted him up. 'So... are you a keyblader too? Or are you another illusion I don't know about?' "A what? An illusion? Not that I am aware of?" He said with a smile. Then the boy poked him. "I am here, I think." A keyblader? "So a Keyblader? Is that what you call your group? Is that what everyone is carrying around? To tell you the truth I have not seen one before today." That was when he asked him his name. "My name? Umm. I am no one special. Just someone trying to find his way home." He thought for a moment. "As for a name it is Andrew Jacob Canvasback but you can call me A.J." He looked over and saw two girls. "I guess that you want to get back to your friends."
View attachment 46214 Aislinn had a look of confusion on her face when he asked what part of Euterpe she was from. He gathered that was where she was from. That was when she said that she did not know of Euterpe. That was most interesting. She was not from Euterpe. Not from Euterpe humm, then from where? Then came the answer Ashen Rose. He did not know of this place. He guessed that there could be many places out there. Aislinn did not seem to answer his other questions. Really he was fine with this. If she did not wish to answer, who was he to question it? He watched Aislinn turn back to the first guy and talk to him. He then watched Aislinn walk past the teen at the door and into the castle. Not wanting to be left in the darkness and the castle seeming like it was the safer option he guessed that he would enter it. He looked to the teen that stood at the doorway to the castle. "Thank you." He gave a slight nod to the teen walked past the teen and entered the castle. The first thing that he had noticed when he entered the castle was on how much brighter it was. The place its self was huge. The castle seemed to go on forever in almost every direction. This place was most interesting. Looking around there seemed to be many young people around. This might be a local hang out. He did not see how it might be local considering where it was located. First was that there was a girl with nothing but a cloak around. He looked away and saw some people around the girl. Then farther on was a other group. This one had a girl with red hair standing over a boy with another key looking object. In a span of a short time he had seen three of them now. They were almost like a form of candy. Deciding the first group with the almost naked girl was not something he wanted to get involved in he turned back to Aislinn and the teen. He noticed that Aislinn wanted to talk to the teen more than him, which was fine as he did not see himself as all that interesting. "Well I guess you two want to talk." He gave a slight nod to Aislinn and the teen before he walked off and left the two alone. He looked back to the group and was not sure what to do now. There was the first group with the almost naked girl. Yea no thanks. Then there was the second group that seemed to have a fight happen. Yea he did not want to be involved in that ether. He decided that he would explore as he did not have much as to do. He walked past the two groups and farther into the castle. He slightly wondered if he might get lost in a place like this. He looked down one direction and noticed that there was door. Doors, doors and more doors everywhere. As far as he could see there were doors. Walking down that way there seemed to be some sort of numbering system to the doors. He continued to walk down the hallway when he noticed that there was someone on their back. "Are you alright?" He asked the teen with blue hair. Then he looked to his face and there was something about it that he could not put a finger to. "Do you need some help?" He offered the teen. He reached his arm to help the teen up.
View attachment 46206 Andrew stood there for a moment when the girl said something. She said that her name was Aislinn. That was when she asked the teen standing there questions. It appeared that Aislinn knew as much as he did. 'You see one moment I was fighting back dark creatures threatening my home and the next I was falling into darkness after being swarmed. I followed the light here.' That was interesting. He wondered what part of Euterpe she was in when she was attached by the dark creatures because he did not see any and he was just there. Deciding that now might be a good time to ask some questions to the girl because that was the only way he would get some answers. "What part of Euterpe were you in when you were attacked?" He asked the girl. Well it turned out She had fell into darkness. Well that answered one question. She followed the light here, humm. He just ended up here by chance. He did not see any light until he was almost to the light. The nearest town would be most helpful to know. It might give him an idea on how far he was from Euterpe. As right now he had no clue. He did not know about dark creatures but it did not matter. "What did the sky look like when the creatures attacked you?" He then looked to the man to see what he would say. That was when the teen said, 'Hey guy standing back there, I know your back there so no point in just standing there!' He guessed that was true but there was not much else to do. He was not exactly going to sit on the ground. Then teen then said that this was the ream of darkness. The name seemed fitting in a way. The realm of darkness was there location. So that met one thing he was no longer near Euterpe. He kind of gathered that from being here. How far from Euterpe he had no idea. The teen said he did not know of any locations nearby. That met they were far off from anything. That did not mean he could not get back home. He slightly wondered if he would get home or if he would be trapped here forever. For now he guessed that it was best not question it. He would have to worry about that when the time came or if it came. He walked away from the light and towards the castle simply because he did not seem to have any choose in the matter. He also wondered about this castle. The other thing that he gathered was that if the two that stood before him wanted to hurt him they would have most likely did so already. So he figured it was safe. As he got closer to the castle he realized that it was much bigger then it first appeared. The castle was big but boy he never seen anything so large. The place could go on for miles underground he guessed if they build this thing. That its self-brought the question on who build this thing. He then offered them to go inside. He did not really know if the man had been talking to him or not. He could just be talking to Aislinn for all that he knew. He looked to the teen and said simply. "You may want to get that shoulder checked out." His voice was of concern and nothing else. He stood not far from Aislinn and the unknown teen waiting for them to enter.
This is a interesting concept that said i am also curious on the oc works as Glen said. I also go back to college Monday so it also depends on the work for that. I like the idea of not remembering who you are or how you got there. Do we get to decide on when we remember or do you? How do Fights work? So many questions. No answers.
Andrew saw the girl approach the castle. He walked forward a bit to get a better look at what she was doing. That was when the girl knocked on the door to the castle. Well this was certainly interesting. Back in Euterpe most people just walked into a place without knocking. What made this girl so different from the rest? He wondered why the girl was knocking at the door to the castle. So he wanted to get back to Euterpe. The question was how to go about doing that. As far as he could gather he had two options. One was to go back into the darkness and find a way back. The other option was to somehow get past this girl with a fight and enter the castle and find his way back to Euterpe. Looking at the castle now it was rather large and it might lead to Euterpe. He looked to the girl who still had the weapon in her hand. He had to somehow get her not to use it on him. He did not want to fight but if it came down to it he would defend himself. He was not really sure how he would do that considering he had no weapon to use at the moment. He wondered how the girl had got into the darkness that was around them. There was somethings that he had thought of right away. One she had fell down here by a hole appearing. The other option was she was always here but that did not seem that likely. He was about to ask her how she got here when the door to the castle opened up. To think there was a castle here and people here too. He could not wait to tell his mom about this place. The first step was to find a way to Euterpe and then worry about everything else later. He saw a man open the door to the castle. The man had on what appeared to be a white jacket and dark black pants that blended into his shoes. The boy also had on black gloves. He appeared to be hurt from what he could not say. He wanted to help them boy but at the time it did not seem like a great idea. There would be time for that at a different time. Blood appeared to be coming out of one of the boy's shoulders. It looked like something had bit the boy. He slightly wondered if there were more creatures that were inside the castle that there was to fight. He sure hoped that there was not because at the moment he did not have anything to fight with. The boy did not appear to know the girl. This could be really good or really bad. Then he had a thought. How many people were in the castle? He might be able to get past one or two people to make his way home but an army was out of the question. His only hope was that they were friendly and he did not have to fight his way through the castle. He really did not have a way to fight in the first place. His only hope would be if the castle was empty and he only had a few people to get past. Yea his luck was not that good, in fact he bet at any moment there would be more people out here. The man then asked the girl who she was which only answered his question if the man knows the girl. He then looked down to what she was holding and did not appear to be frightened by it. It was almost like the man knew what it was. It was almost like he had seen it before. This in of its self only brought more questions than answers. He then stepped forward to get a better look at what the girl was holding. The only thing that he could make out was that it was a key shaped object. A key shaped object he had one but not out. It made him wonder how many of them there might be. He had to get into the castle but how? He was not about to test his luck with going back out into the darkness. Now there was two people at the castle one was the girl that walked up to the door and the other was a boy that opened it. The entrance was now blocked by the two. So sneaking into the castle was now out of the question. He did not appear to be seen yet by the boy which might be helpful in the future. The only problem was that the girl knew he was there. He stood by the light to use as cover if the two decided to attack him because that seemed to be his only option at the moment. He did not know if the two were friendly or not. One might be friendly while the other may not, or either maybe friendly or both may not. He had no way of knowing at the moment. The only thing that he knew was that they did not attack yet, which may or may not be a good thing. For now he would observe them to find out more. He had so many questions and not many of them were answered yet. With each new answer two more questions replaced the one question that was answered. He figured that he would get his questions answered in time. Now was a time to just wait for them to come. He stood at the light slightly watching the two without a word. If it came down to it he would use the light a cover from the two. He did not really have much to defend himself with. His only hope was that they did not decide to fight him. He stood by the light with a smile on his face, just waiting for something to happen. The two before him did not seem be harmful but one must be careful around new people.
The story of Andrew ‘AJ’ Jacob Canvasback Part 8 Epilogue "The Friend" ... Darkness everywhere was all that he could see. The sky faded until he could not see it anymore. Then there was darkness. The light blue sky was replaced by darkness. Then there was black. As fell he thought of his home. Was Bob right? Bob had said that because of him to Aldwin Abner was gone. His mother Anna did not want him as a son. Most of all his father was gone. He had lost everything in a span of a few days. Bob was right about everything. Everything was lost to him. The last time he saw his dad was when he was three years old. He did not remember much from that time. The only thing he knew was what the stories that his mother had told him. His father left go find the Well of Delight and never returned. That was thirteen years ago. After a while his mom and him gave up hope of his father ever coming home. The only thing that was sure about his father was that he was alive as there had been stories of what he looked like running around the area of the forest. His mother never ran into the man. He himself had never seen him in the thirteen years he had lived in the area. He closed his eyes and let himself fall. He did remember hitting the ground. The last thing that he remembered was falling and now he was laying on the ground. Was he dead? He was not sure. He looked himself over and he seemed relatively unharmed. He was not sure how it was possible. He guessed that it was best not to question it. Wait he was falling and now he was not falling anymore. Bob smiling face and the sky turning blue. He was not really sure what had happened to the sky. He looked directly up and did not see much. In fact looking around he did not see much of anything. The sky was not above him. Looking around there did not seem to be anything. So Bob was gone but the sky was nowhere to be seen. On one hand that was a good thing on the other he had no idea where he was. He stood up to get a better look around and he found that standing up did not do much. In every direction there was nothing but darkness. So he came to two possibilities one he was dead and the other was that he was dreaming. Was this what it felt like to die? He had felt no pain what so ever. The other thing was that he did not remember falling asleep. So in the end he had no idea what was going on. He stood there just thinking of what to do. His first thought was to wait there for someone to find him but after some time he did not think that was happening. Then a thought came to him. Everything around him looked exactly like the dream that he had before. There was darkness in every direction. So if he followed what happened in his dream would he wake up? He thought about this. The only thing was he had to somehow get back to Euterpe. The only question was how he was going to get there? Well standing around was not going to do him much. Again the darkness did not bother him too much. He could use his rather good eye sight to walk around. It did not do much considering there was not any light to be found. The first step was to follow his dream. He started walking in a random direction ad he felt something. Before in his dream he could not feel a thing this time the darkness had a evilness to it. It was almost like it would whisk out any light. He continued to walk hoping to find something to find anyone in this darkness. That was when he saw a shadow. He hoped that it was a person. When he walked forward the shadow was still there. He kept walking toward it. At some point the shadow was gone. He looked down and saw the outline of a key shaped thing. He reached out and was able to grab it. He was not able to make out any detail of the key but it felt warm to the touch. Soon the dog like things would show up. Sure enough he could see them in the distance. He had to get away from them. He ran and ran. The dogs were still behind him. He tripped over something. This was it. He closed his eyes waiting for them to come but after some time nothing happened. He looked up to see a figure standing there. He had on a black cloak. The man turned to him. 'Stand and fight.' He could not believe who was standing right by him. You are dead he thought. Standing before him was Aldwin Abner. He stood up without saying a word. How was this possible. He had see Bob push Aldwin down a hole yet here he was standing before him. Was it a dream or something else? He would never know he guessed. 'Time to fight. Never stop fighting AJ. Fight to defend and fight for others.' He wanted to reach out and touch the man before him but he was afraid that he might somehow disappear. 'Bob was wrong about you.' How did he know? He turned and walked into the darkness and was gone. Then the dogs came. Stop he thought. Then something he did not think would happen happened they key shaped thing he was holding shot out lighting towards the dogs. One went up in smoke. To say he was surprised was a understatement. Lighting shot in every direction and could be seen from far away so e guessed he could still not see a thing. The dogs that where left after that event then ran off. Well that was surprising. Come to think of it nothing surprised him anymore. He closed his hand on the key and it disappeared. Welp that was interesting while he had it. He turned behind him and could see a light. He stared walking towards it. The light was not far now. He could see two things. One was the massive castle. The other was person. He looked to the girl who seemed to be holding something. Well now what?
The story of Andrew ‘AJ’ Jacob Canvasback Part 7 "The Well of Delight" Andrew stood at the lake not doing anything. It was so peaceful. No one was around. He took a seat at the lake. He just sat there not doing much. He looked over to Chicken Little and wondered how he was going to even help the thing. How was he of all people going to help a chicken find his friends? For all that he knew they were nowhere around. He had to somehow find a walking fish, a pig and a duck. Finding them was just as strange as running into the chicken that stood right next to him. He could not help the people of Euterpe. He wanted more than anything to help the people go back to the way things were. Thinking about it now this was far easier said than done. He looked up at the sky and noticed that it was starting to get darker. It was going to start storming soon. He stood up signaling the chicken that it was time to go. He had to find this chicken's friends and fast. If he did not find this chicken's friends he did not know where he was going to hide him. He began to walk away from the lake and towards the city. If the chicken's friends were anywhere they would be there. Chicken Little was following him not saying anything. He continued to walk towards the city. He could see his house now. Well if he did have to hide the chicken for the day that might be the best place to put him. He was not really sure where he was going to hide him inside of his house but at least he had a place. He continued to walk when he spotted his mom outside the house. He let out a sigh. He was not having much luck in hiding Chicken Little. He walked in a way so that Chicken Little was hidden from her viewpoint. When she was not looking in his direction he moved Chicken Little behind a nearby bush. That was when his mom looked up at him. 'How was your walk Andrew?' He looked up at his mother. "Well Bob tried to dump some kind of green liquid on top of me. It looked like some kind thick green slime." She then looked at him. "It will somehow turn out to back to me. Like I somehow came and got the green slime somehow." 'Oh, that might end up happening.' "Yea that might end up happening. There is not much I can do about it." 'Was there anything else that happened?' "No, Bob ended up running off when he slipped on his own green liquid." 'Hum... That is very interesting. Is there anything else you want to tell me?' "No, I was just walking by." 'Ok.' With that his mother went back into the house. With his mom now gone he turned back to the bush that Chicken Little was in. He had thought that hiding Chicken Little might be a good idea but he was not really sure how he was going to even go about hiding the chicken inside his house. He turned to the chicken making sure that it was following him and continued on his way. He was now heading south. Not many people were outside and the ones that were outside he just walked around taking a different direction through the city. He did not run into anyone that Chicken Little had said was his friend. He did not see any walking fish, pig or duck. This was what he thought might end up happening when he went to look for Chicken Little's friends. It still did not hurt to look for them. He would have thought that a walking fish, pig and duck would have stood out but he had no luck so far with finding them. The next direction that he should go was south. He continued to walk south towards the framing area. He could see the framing area in the distance. No one seemed to be around, which was nothing but a good thing. Most of the farming would be done this time of year so not many people would be working on it. The owner really only grow thing that could bring him money and they only ever grew enough food. They was always just the right amount of food. Never too much and never too little. He was now in the framing area. The framing area was filled with corn ready to be picked. Most of the crops were dead or picked. The look of brown was in every direction. Really it was kind of sad looking. The one thing that stood out was that the leaves of many colors. The colors mad the brown stand out even more. The sky was really starting to turn dark but he did not know what to do with Chicken Little. It was not he could just leave him where they stood. Looking around he could not see any walking talking pig, duck or fish. There were plenty of those animals around among others but he did not think any of them were Chicken Little's friend. He continued to walk west now. Soon he would end back at the forest. He was now in the west. There was not much out here. Really there were only the caverns. He tired walking past them quickly. He could not help but remember what Bob had did. Years ago Bob had pushed his only friend down the cavern hole that opened up that day. That was when lighting went throw the sky and the sky got really dark. 'The sky is falling not again.' Chicken began to run around in a panic. "You need the calm down." 'The sky.' The ground began to shake. Something was not right. "We need to help people." He picked up a rope that was nearby. Then he looked up to see Chicken Little run off. He could not help but let out a sigh. The quickest way home was to go through the forest. He started running towards the forest entering it. He had no idea where Chicken Little had gone but he did not think that he would find him in the forest. He was running into the forest more and more. He was now in an area that he had not been in before. The tree cover was thick. He was sure that he was on his way to his house. He then tripped over a fallen log. His amulet fell to the ground and rolled to a cobblestone wall. The amulet opened and the silver disk fell out. He looked up and he could not believe what he was seeing. The ground shock more and the sky was as dark as he had ever seen. There before him was a cobblestone Well. The Well of Delight. It was not to be real but here it was. There were cracks in the ground everywhere. It was almost like the world was falling apart. He walked up to the Well that stood there. He picked up the amulet and the silver disk. The ground had a huge deep hole that went on forever. A wish. He took the silver disk and threw it into the Well. 'I wish for everything to go back to the way it used to be where everyone can get along. I want whatever is happening to stop.' He thought the wish and began running out of the forest. He did not think that it would work but it did not hurt to try. He continued to run through the forest. He could now see the forest clearing. He came out of the forest. His house was not that far now. He looked up at the sky. The sky was still dark. Who was he kidding? The wish did nothing at all. He had thought that it might do something after how much people wanted to find it. He ran towards his house. The only thing on his mind was his mother. The sky now had streaks of purple and green. The sky was the oddest thing he had ever seen. The ground continued to shake. He was not sure what was going on. There were several houses nearby his house that were now rubble. His house was still standing. He was not sure how long that might be. He reached his house rather quickly. He burst through the door of his house and began looking for his mother. He hoped that she was not hurt. He did not have much left. His only friend was gone and he was not sure what he would do if something happened to his mom. While the house was not large it was not small ether. It would take some time to find his mother. The first place would be to look up stairs. This would be the longest trip out of the house if she was up here. He raced down the hallway towards his mother room. Of the whole house this one he was sure she might be in. He raced through the open door looking for her. The first thing that he noticed was that everything seemed to be thrown everywhere. The whole thing must have been from the movement of the ground. After spending some time in the room and not finding his mom he left the room and headed down the hallway. His mother did not seem to be on the upper floor of the house. He headed down the stairs nearly falling down them at one point. He started walking down the hallway toward the kitchen when the ground began to shake and the house moved. He then heard a scream coming from the kitchen and entered it. He spotted his mother right away. She seemed to be unharmed but trapped at the same time. "What is going on?" he asked her. 'I don't know but you have to save the people of the town.' Why him? "What about you?" She let of a smile. 'I will be fine.' That was when the ground shock again and the behind his mother fell setting her free. He jumped out of the house right before it fell. He saw that his mother was fine and he ran off toward the forest to make sure the town was safe. He could see the forest in the distance and a huge hole in the ground. As he got closer to the hole he could hear someone down there. Bob was down the hole he was sure of it. He looked down to see him hanging there. 'Help.' "Help you after all that you did to me." 'I am sorry. I do not know what I was thinking.' "You have done so much. After what you did to Aldwin Abner my only friend." Sadness in his eyes. "You pushed him down one of these holes a year ago and everything seemed to be fine but not for me." 'What do you want me to say?' He could tell that Bob was going to fall at any moment and he could not live with himself if he was the one responsible for his death. He threw down the rope that he had to Bob and he climbed up. He moved with quickness away from the hole with a smile on his face. 'You know that say that you are smart Andrew but really you are stupid. You are too trusting.' Bob was now walking towards him. 'You know why you do not have any friends? It is because you are too nice to friendly and too helpful. It is not how things are to be. That is why Aldwin Abner is not here. Your only friend is gone because of you. It is why your father left you to find the Well. He has never come back has he? Most of all it is why Anna does not want you as a son.' He was on his knees now. Sadness in his eyes. He did not know what to say. It was all true. Everything that Bob had said was true. His father left and his best friend was gone. Why even fight? Bob was on top of him now. 'Stand up.' He stayed where he was not moving. Bob reached out his hand and grabbed him by his shirt. 'It ends now.' With one swift motion he threw him into the hole. The last thing he saw was the sky turning blue and Bob's smiling face. Then there was darkness...
I am not doing much better. I do not know what to say.
The story of Andrew ‘AJ’ Jacob Canvasback Part 6 "The Partner" He was ready to take Chicken Little on a walk around the town to find his friends. Part of him wondered if they were anywhere nearby. Chicken Little may have just shown up. The way that Chicken Little had talked it was almost like that he had come from a completely different world. Now that was not possible. He guessed in a weird odd way that everyone lived in their own world and every once and awhile two worlds would cross and you would be able to interact with each other. He slightly wondered if that was happening now or if he was thinking too much in to it. He turned to take Chicken Little when he heard something from the forest. Someone was coming this was not good. A chicken wearing clothing would bring so many questions and he did not want to have to deal with that. "It is time to move." He took the chicken's hand and moved him behind a tree so that whoever was coming would not ask too many questions. "Stay here", he told the bird. He turned away to face whoever was coming. He slightly wondered who it might be. That was when a woman came out of the forest with the look of disappointment. There was Zoey again. It was the same woman that was in his house earlier that day. With the look of disappointment on her face he could tell that she did not find the Well. With Zoey here that met that Lucas was not that far behind. He slightly hoped that she would not see him but he did not think that was going to happen. He was never that lucky. The look on Zoey when she did see him was an odd one. The look was a mixture of surprise and something else. He let lout sigh and hoped that this would not be that look. She walked up to him and said, 'I see that you decided to come help look for the Well.' "By the looks of things you did not find it." 'Yea, but I can feel that I will find it one day.' "What makes you think that it is even in the forest?" 'Well it is the only thing that makes any sense.' She then looked behind her looking for Lucas but he still was not here. 'The prophecy states, if you wish for the land to remain as it is all you have to do is rejoice in the way things are. Work together and you shall find the Well of delight. To the first who find untold wealth and a wish awaits you. Stay as one you will not find anything but remorse and anger. Together you will find what you desire. If you do not one of heart and mind will be able to find what was lost but can be found. Clues you will find to point you the way to untold treasures. The desert of want and needs, the sea of deep wonders and the forest of wonder and thought you will get what you all desire. There is no desert and no sea. All that we have is a lake.' Of course there was no desert or sea but he always thought that it was some kind of riddle and it was not met to be taken at face value. "Why do you even want to find the Well?" 'Well for the treasure for what I desire, for the Well of Delight, for the untold wealth. Most of all I want that wish.' He was almost afraid to ask what she would wish for. He had an idea of what it might be. Most want power, money or something to put them on top. Then there was him who did not want any of those things. He never told anyone what he wanted. He wanted something that everyone had, something that was lost but could be found, and something they did not need a wish to have. People where to blind to see that they did not need a wish to find what they once had. "What is it that you wish for?" The moment that he had asked the regretted it more than anything. The smile on Zoey's face was so large and had never seen a smile so big and so greedy at the same time. 'I want everyone to work for me. To bring me all that they own without question and I will not have to lift a finger. Most of all I will not have to deal with people like you. People like your mom. I do not see how anyone can be so happy and friendly all the time. It sickens me.' That was when they could hear someone from behind them walking. Zoey turned around to see Lucas walking out of the forest. 'What took you so long? You know what it does not matter we are going lets go.' With that she walked off. Lucas stood there for a moment in shock and walked up to him. 'You know you could do a lot with helping find the Well. Your teacher always talks about how smart you are.' "There is only so much I can do." He was not even sure why every thought there was a Well after looking for so long and yet it was not found. 'I will be going.' With that Lucas walked off after Zoey. He was not sure what that was all about but whatever. He did not think that he would see those two again. He walked over to where he had left Chicken Little. "We should get going before someone else shows up." With that he walked away from the forest With Chicken Little. Was Chicken Little his partner now? He could not say. It felt a little odd to have chicken following him but there was not much that he could do about it. The first stop away from the forest was the lake. The blueness of the lake stood out over the colors of the leaves from the trees. He look at the lake. Soon it would be frozen over with ice and there would be no waves that came. He stood in there just waiting for now.
The story of Andrew ‘AJ’ Jacob Canvasback Part 5 "The Chicken" Andrew looked up to the trees and saw Bob's two friends take off. Well at least he did not have to deal with those two. The only thing was that they did not have what Bob did. Bob carried fear with him wherever he went, while these two people just followed Bob blindly. It might be all that the two had but they could do better. The only thing was there was not much that he could do about it. He had tried before but the fear and Bob thought that he had, had kept the two followers around. He want to help the people of Euterpe but time after time the people wanted was to find the Well they did not want anything else. After looking for this Well for so long he did not think people would still be looking for it, but what you going to do? He did not think it could be found but he did not think that the people around here would give up. He then looked at the bucket and the strange green liquid. How was it that Bob even came to get it? The green liquid bubbled and had a thick look to it. He was thankful that the green liquid did not end up on him. It would take forever to get that green slime off and he rather not have to put up with that. Andrew turned to the chicken. "I guess I should thank you. So thanks for your help. Very few people can do what you did. Bob is well hard to put up with. So you went through the forest and ended up here?" The chicken then said, 'Yup. Where are we anyways?' It seemed kind of odd that the chicken just showed up out of nowhere. Who was he to question it. "We are north of the town outside the forest. We call this place Euterpe. Name is Andrew Jacob Canvasback AJ for short. Why are your here?" He had a feeling that he knew why the bird was here if he was indeed real but then again who was he to question the dream? The well? 'A HUGE VOID OF DARKNESS SUCKED ME INTO THE SKY! IT TOOK AWAY MY HOME AND FRIENDS! I'm HERE BY MYSELF AND FOR ALL I KNOW THIS PLACE COULD GO KABLOOEY AT ANY MOMENT!' Chicken little has become spastic and is running about all over the place 'Also, My name is Chicken Little. Nice to meet yah.' He stops running around Andrew to offer a quick handshake. "Clam down a little." So the chicken thought that the world would go kablooey. He did not think that was going to happen. He did not know how that would be even possible. "A void of darkness into the sky? There is nothing going to happen to the world. There is nothing going to happen at all. wait.." He took the birds hand and then let go and said, "was there a earthquakes or any big holes in the ground." He was rather confused by the whole thing. 'No.. yes! I don't know, it all happened so fast! I said the sky was falling and no one believed me! It just turned dark... Everything went dark...' yes, no which one was it. "So you are not here to find something? There was darkness. The only thing that happens here is rain and then when it gets colder it snows but that all about all that happens Chicken Little." Could it be... A year ago something happened to Euterpe a big hole showed and... well he did not want to really think about it. 'Well, it's not like any of them liked me anyways... I was a joke to them! I made one little slip and was outcasted. Only a few people even talked to me.' "The only joke would be them and you have people that care about you back home. You have friends." It was more then he could say for himself. He appeared to be sad for a moment then smiled to mask his thoughts. To think that someone with more than one friend when the only one he had was gone. It appeared that this chicken was not here for the Well and did not know about it. It was almost like he was whisked away and put here. Why now if anything this was strange but was not strange now. 'Easy for you to say... but you never made a fool of yourself before... Not as bad as I did.' He put his head against a tree as an acorn dropped on his head when he did. "You have to think with what is up here" pointing to his head and "here" pointing to his heart. He then bent down a picked up the acorn. "Just like this acorn you will grow up to do something great be something more then you are now. You know what they say every day is a new day and today is a new day." He could not believe that he was giving advice to a chicken. Chicken little mustered out a smile. 'I just hope they're okay is all.' "I am sure they will be fine. Who are your friends anyways? Maybe I have seen them." He did not think he ever seen the chicken's friends but it did not hurt to ask. 'Well, one's name is Runt.... He's a pig. And then there's Abby... she's a duck. And then of course there's fish... whose a fish.' "Sorry to say but i have not seen them. I am sure that they will show up at some time at some point. Friends have a habit of showing up when you need them most." While it was not true for him it was not like it was not true for this chicken. He wished that it was true for him but it simply was not the way things worked. "Well we could always go look for your friends. What do you say?" Chicken little nods.
The story of Andrew ‘AJ’ Jacob Canvasback Part 4 "The Bully" Andrew luck was looking like it was ending. Would Bob do what he did before? Be the undoing of what he wanted. Bob took a step forward and he took a step back. Luck did he even have any? The world had been unlucky. People doing what they wanted. People doing whatever and not helping anyone. People looking for the Well that may or may not be real. Looking for something that they had once. For a wish. For something that may be or may not be. Wanting for the world to be and a wish. Did it bring people hope like his mom had said or was it about the greed that he thought it was. The greed that he was sure was not going to end anytime soon. It might be just be the way things happened. Then Bob took another step forward and Andrew took another step backwards. 'You cannot run forever' he said with a smile. He was not running. He had no reason to run. He was cut off from the forest and had nowhere to go. No one to help. Even if there was help they would just walk by without a second thought. Where would he run to when he could not really move? Fear was not something Bob gave to him. Bob gave fear to some but not to him. Bob did so much. He did the unthinkable and most said it just happened. That Bob did not mean it. His thoughts were not thought of people did not care what Bob did. It was like ops and move on. Some things that he rather not think about. Sometimes he could not help but think about that event. It was a wonder that he had followers. He was the fear that gave him power over the others. It was the fear that gave him power. It was the greed that let Bob get away with the things that he did. He was starting to be backed up to a tree. 'You will fear me. You will do as I say.' Bob had always had power over most but not him and he could not figure out why. Andrew would not bend to his rules. Bend to his whim to the power that he thought he had. The power that he thought he had over everyone. He tried to be friend with Bob but it just would not happen. It just was not met to be. Bob was to hostel. He was to out there. He was a bully just because he could be. He wondered what Bob was going to do with him, to him. Bob then said 'just like...' That was when something unexpected happened. A walking turkey showed up or a chicken, whatever it was it was strange. He had on a striped green shirt and short blue pants. There was also green glasses on his face. The chicken must have been three feet tall. While it was tall for a chicken he did not know what to think of a walking chicken that looked like a human. The chicken then scurries around before bumping into AJ's leg. 'What do we have here?' Bob said look at the chicken that showed up. 'What kind of trick is this? Whatever it is you will not get away with it.' he said looking at Andrew. Andrew was completely confused by the whole thing. He had no part of whatever it was but he kind of wished that he did because of the effect it was having on Bob. A walking chicken was one thing but a dressed one was another. What kind of chicken was dressed. The only explanation was that he was dreaming somehow. Yea that had to be it. How on the earth did this happen? He was not afraid for some reason of the chicken. That was when the bird chicken said 'What's with me? What's with you! You guys got no feathers or fur! What kind of monsters did that to you!?' Bob looked confused for a moment. 'What are you doing here bird?' 'Well.. I lost the baseball game. And then, the sky started falling!' He looked around for anything familiar. 'And I ran to the forest, but then the sky started falling!' He then thought for a moment. 'Whatever it is..' He looked up to the trees for a moment. 'Now.' Bob had a smile on his face. With that Andrew looked up and saw a bucket being pushed down by two people in the trees. Not today Andrew thought. With one swift motion he pulled the talking chicken out of the way before the bucket fell from the tree and landed spilling some kind of thick green liquid onto the ground. What was the green liquid? On second thought it might be better not to think about it. Bob then walked up to the chicken and said, 'How is it that you speak bird? What trick is this Andrew?' He then picked up the chicken and smiled. His face turned to something else. He could not tell what it was. Was it fear or something else? 'What you are real?' Then Bob put the chicken down and turned to leave walking backwards and slipped onto the green liquid face first. Then he tried to get up and slipped onto his back. He was now covered in a think green liquid. Andrew looked at the talking bird. A baseball game, the sky falling. It did not make any sense. The forest, was that how the talking bird chicken got here? He could not help but wonder how the chicken got here. He did not know what to say. This was the first time Bob ever left for any reason. His mom said to have fun when he had left the house but he did not think this was the idea she had in mind. Well if anything Bob was now covered in some kind of green liquid. He looked at the chicken not knowing what to say.
The story of Andrew ‘AJ’ Jacob Canvasback Part 3 "The Forest" Andrew walked to towards his bed and made it without thinking all that much. He walked over to his desk and put a book mark into the book he had open and shut it. He left the book where it was from the night before. He enjoyed reading. Some of the stories were where people mad friends. There were others where most got along. Then there were some with quest that lasted years. Then there was him who never did anything that made him stand out. He did not have a story to tell and he was no hero. He did not know what to think or do. He got ready to go. He grabbed his bag and walked out the door of his room without much thought. Thinking about his dream the night before as he walked, the outline of the key unsure what to think or do. What did it all mean? There was these dark dogs that made no sound. Really to come to think about it there was no sound at all. Then there was the darkness in every direction. Also there were the humans that he saw. It made him wonder who they were. He also wondered if they wanted anything in his dream. He guessed that it might be best not to think about it. Some thought that dreams were clue to find the Well others did not share this thought. He himself really did not give it much thought. He was quite tired of this whole Well thing. He hoped that one day everyone would forget about it but so far this was not true. He looked at his mirror on his way. He had golden blond hair. His hair was normal length. He was quite tall and rather skinny. It was a wonder that his mother was able to find anything in his size. He was not all that strong but what he did not have in strength in outsmarted with his brain. It was how he got out of situations so far. For the most part he had been lucky. What stood out as he looked at the mirror were his light blue eyes on his face. Most people had rather dark eyes and very few had light eyes. The color of other hair ranged from a light brown to black. He guessed he was unique in a way. He turned down a hallway in his house and went down the hard wooden stairs. He walked into the kitchen to his mother standing there. The kitchen was rather simple with wooden floors and cabinets all around. On one end sat a table with a four chairs that surrounded it. On the other end of the kitchen was a sink next to a window that over looked the fields and then farther on was the forest. On the table sat a bowl of fruit. While they did not have much they got by. Compared to others who got as much as they could inside their house. It was all about the greed. The treasure was important too and then there was the wish. It was what people could get. Not many but few still helped others. He looked at his mother who had golden blond hair and light sky blue eyes. Today she had on a brown shirt and dark blue pants. She was a simple woman and one of the few people that cared about the way things should be and the other people around. As he entered the kitchen his mother said, 'Andrew, what do you plan on doing today? Where will you go?' He had not gave it much thought. He tried not to think about the outside too much. "Well you know how things are out there. I really do not know. You know that it..." He stooped himself in mid-sentence. There next to his mother were two people. A woman and a man. This could not be good. What did they want? The only time someone came around here was to get something. Only question was, what did they want? It was most likely something to do with the Well. The woman had jet black hair that went down to the middle of her back. She had on dark red top and black pants. The man had short light brown hair. He had on a dark blue top with black pants. He was sure that they had found a clue around here and that was the only reason that they were here. "What are they doing here?" He looked at his mother for an answer that he was sure he already had the answer to. 'They found something' "Of course they did. What was it they time?" 'Come on 'AJ' we might finally find the Well with this’ the woman said to him. "Don't..." Very few people... it was not worth it. He was far too nice to let this woman get to him. 'Zoey just wants to be your friend' his mother said. Please the only time someone wanted something from him was to find this Well. Help with the clue. "Ok, so what is it they need?" The man steeped forward and thought for a moment. 'Name is Lucas. We want to search the land around here, Andrew.’ He knew something was up. "You are not going to find anything. We lived here forever. I been here sixteen years at this home and never found a thing on the land." 'This time we might' the man said. "Go for it. Search the land all you want." This whole Well thing was getting old. 'We were hoping to get your help to search' the woman said. Keep on hoping he thought. "Um, no thanks, I am sure you will do fine with what you have." 'This is your land.' He let out a sigh. "I am not going to be able to find anything any better than anyone else." The only good thing about this was it would give him something to do. 'Don’t you want to find the Well Andrew?' the man said. "No it will be found or be hidden just as always." All it was, was a tale, a story. "People searched for this Well for hundreds of years, today is not going to be any different than the days before." 'Alright I guess we will go without you.' They looked at him for a moment and the woman said, 'one day someone will find the Well.' With that the man and the woman left the house. "What was that all about?" 'It was what it is always about Andrew,' his mother said. He looked at his mother for a moment. 'The Well it gives people hope.' No it gives people greed, he thought. It might be hope there but there would be no need if people just worked together. There was the treasure and the wish. Lucky they had pictures of the way things used to be. The pictures were few but they could be found. He saw himself what Euterpe had looked like hundreds of years ago. He did not see why people would not just work toward the way it was instead of what people wanted it to be. He thought it was fine the way it was but no longer was the case. "I think that I will be going." 'Have fun and don't stay out to late.' Yea 'fun' that was the word he thought of whenever he left the house. He put on a smile for his mom, grabbed his bag and went out the door of his house. He did not know where to go. He knew that he did not want to see the two people that just showed up at his house. They were most likely deep into the forest now so there was a slim chance into running into them. To the north of the town was a forest, where people were sure more than anything that the Well was somewhere inside, despite people searching high and low of the thing in the forest. Then to the east was a small lake where most went to in the summer. Now it was too cold to swim in. To the south was where the farms and a nearby river ran into the lake. Then to the west was more of the city. He decided to walk north east with no reason. He continued to walk past the lake that had many leaves from the tress in it. Not many people seemed to be out at all. Soon there would be less with the incoming winter. He continued to walk north with the lake on his right. He walked tell he saw someone in the distance next to the forest. The forest was rather close now. He walked in a different direction trying to avoid whoever it was. The leaves beneath his feet made a crunch and well it did not turn out well. Luck was not on his side and he saw the person turn around and spot him. As the person walked towards him he saw who it was oh no anyone but him. Bob, in terms of bullies he was the king of them all. Bob was well to put it nice nicely rather large. His arms were huge. The one thing that could be said that he did not have was brains. Today he had on a black jacket with a red shirt underneath. He had on black pants and shoes. His hair was the oddest of all. It was short and what use to be black hair was now red from the die he had always put in it or so they say. Some thought that it was not die at all but something else and others thought it was some kind of red food and it died his hands and he put it into his hair. He himself did not know what to think of it. The first option was just as likely as the second. both ways he tried not to think about it. It was something about making look cool or something and anyone that questioned well it was best not said. Why did the leaves on the trees need to be falling? The only thing going for him was that when he was younger he took some self-defense classes. Bob walked up to him and said, 'What did I tell you about coming around here?' He did not answer right away. He wanted to avoid this incoming fight. It was not going to end that well for him. The question in his mind did not really require an answer. He slightly wondered where his followers were but he was sure that they would show up at some point as they always did. He turned to walk away to signal that he was leaving. 'I did not say that you could not leave boy', Bob said. What did he want? A fight that he was certain that he did not want. Bob always wanted a fight. He wanted to hurt everything that was not on his side. Bob wanted everyone and anyone to suffer. Most if not all the people were ether friends with him or afraid of what he might do. It was once told that he threw someone into the lake in the middle of winter just because. "I won’t come back this way again." Bob looked at him with a questioning look. 'I want something to punch.' Andrew thought for a moment. "Well there is a tree right there that you can practice on if you want," he said with a smile. Bob then came at him and he moved to the side. He did not understand why Bob wanted to fight so badly. This whole fighting thing was getting old. As far as he was concerned he was done with this. "I do not want to fight you Bob." Bob looked at him for a moment and then said with a smile 'I know you don't, but I do.' He wondered what Bob would try to do this time. He got the feeling that today his luck might end.
The story of Andrew ‘AJ’ Jacob Canvasback Part 2 "The Dream" Andrew closed his eyes from the light and then he opened them. He found himself in bed. A dream, but what did it mean? He got out of bed and walked over to the window. He looked out the window and there was not much to say about Euterpe. It was a name of a place. Euterpe was interesting for a lack of a better word. People for the most part were not that friendly. Euterpe was not always like that, well according to the stories that went around. People now were mostly in it for them self. Very few people were in it for others. Now Euterpe and where to start? Andrew began to think of the stories he read and the ones his mother told him. They went something like this... ...Euterpe was peaceful in ancient times and everyone worked together towards the better of the land. Long ago it is said that a person of unknown gender had some sort of magic. They were happy with the way people had worked together. So one day they told the people of the land. 'If you wish for the land to remain as it is all you have to do is rejoice in the way things are. The desert of want and needs, the sea of deep wonders and the forest of wonder and thought you will get what you all desire.' That day the person left without a trace and was never seen from again. At first people began to work together to find the unknown Well thing the person had talked about. As the years went on people began to look for the Well them self. As the years went on people began to figure out that there was no sea, desert or forest with names in the prophecy the person had said. The was not even a sea or a desert anywhere to be found. The forest that was near was searched but nothing was found. Years and years went on with no Well being found. With the years going on and on some began to give and lose hope. Most began to work for only there benefit. This continued until the current day where and glimmer of a clue was taken from you and was used to find the Well. Not many clues were found and the ones that were did not lead to anywhere. And that was how the story went. As for the person that told the prophecy no one ever could figure out if it was a man or a woman. The person was cover from head to toe in a white cloak. The only thing that was to see on the person was the face and even then the details were lost. He once found an object, which was taken shortly after he found it. He was not even looking for and clue of the Well. Just one day he was walking on the outskirts of the forest and the fields. The object he found was an amulet. The amulet itself appeared to be made of gold and was rather small. The metal on the Amulet was not gold according to those who looked at it. The amulet was light. Some thought that there might be something inside but no one ever found a way to open it. After the whole using the amulet as a clue to help find a Well, the Well of a wish, the Well of treasure and the Well of delight or whatever Well it was not found. Really that was no surprise. The amulet was then given back to him. From that day on he always had the amulet on him. Then one day he dropped it on the ground and it opened up and out rolled a silver look disk. Not telling any about it he kept the disk inside the amulet. The outside was nice this time of year. The trees were starting to turn color but most of the trees remained green. The colors on the trees were a rainbow of colors. Really it was a nice looking time of year. He looked out the window. There seemed to be a slight wind but nothing too big. The leaves on the tress moved ever so slightly. Thinking back to the days and weeks before nothing was odd just the unusual amount of rain. While rain was not odd this time of year the amount of the rain was. Today was not one of those days. The sun was just coming up. It looked like it might rain later today. He tried to put a smile on his face but it did not come. He did not know what was so special about today that could not be said about the days and weeks before. The only thing that seemed to change around here was the weather. The people were the same day in day out. They acted the same and it seemed that as friendly as he was the people around did not care or change. Sometimes he wondered why he even try with them at all. He guessed that it was the way he is. He has to help people no matter who they are or what they do to him. In the end it was all about finding that Well for most and for some it was all that they lived for. He turned away from the window and back to the bed he just got out of and let his thoughts go by. He looked at his room. The room was rather simple. The room its self was simple. The room had a bed up on one wall. There were two bookshelves full of books. He enjoyed reading none of the book had anything to do with the Well. Then there was a desk with a chair that he sometimes sat at. That was about it. He still could not stop thinking that today would be somehow different then the days and weeks before. He guessed that today would be however it turned out to be. Today he felt like something would happen but he did not know what it would be. He walked over to the bed and made it. His mind was mostly a blank, while he made the bed. He did not even know what he was going to do today. Undoubtedly someone from around here would make fun of him or something along those lines. The only questions was who would it be today and when would it happen. Everyday someone would bully him or make fun of him or they would do something. The only time it did not happen was when he stayed home and even them it was an issue.
Fortunately I know quite a bit about this subject. I have worked with young children for quite some same and question like this one comes up a lot. I do not know much about when children get older because I only world with children from the age 2 1/2 and 6 years old. Imagination and creativity is going down but it is not from what you think. Children stop pretending around the first or second grade six though the age of 8. Playing with objects continue until the age of 12 but without the pretend play. The first issue comes when children go into preschool, where more of my experience is from. Parents come into the school and the see their child playing and their reaction is they are not learning. (Child is not doing anything but playing). Parents do not see that by playing their child is learning. Children learn by playing with each other. Playing with others promotes sharing, social development, cognitive development, emotional well-being of children, and increases Physical Activity. Play is so important to optimal child development. Play makes stress leaves go down. Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. Play is important to healthy brain development. Play helps children explore the world in a way that they can understand. first we need to make parents understand what play does for the child because they will and think that they can have their child play at home and not send them to school. Children at home will not get the interaction that they will at school. Social development is a important one and looking at the way things are people are becoming less and less social. Curriculum is being pushed down more than it was in the past. Parents want the academic and not the play but parents do not see that they go hand in hand. Imagination and creativity is going down because of curriculum and parents. I worked with child for a number of years and still they do not understand what play does not matter what you do. Ask anyone what their favorite time in school way and it was most likely something to do with playing or something fun. As for older children play is still an important part of development. Stress is in everyone's life and play can help with that. Children need many things in their life to develop.
The story of Andrew ‘AJ’ Jacob Canvasback Part 1 "The Darkness" Andrew ‘AJ’ Jacob looked around. All he could see was darkness in every direction. The darkness did not bother him too much.
