A jet-black tattoo ran down her left cheek, starting at the temple, crossing her left eye, swirling into a spiral pattern on her cheek, and continuing down the left side of her neck under her collar. Jade snapped, "Have you no honor? Have you no respect for the dead? Are you going to leave this child to the desecrations of scavengers?" "I have more respect for the living," Karel said calmly. "We need to get moving." Jade picked the child's body up in her arms and threw Karel a dirty look. She walked out of the alley without a word. More softly, under her breath, Karel muttered, "Scavegers have a right to life as well." She can suck out the negative energy that gives demons their life and channel it for a short time to kill them or to make weapons... however, this is very dangerous, as she tires easily from this and could be overtaken by the energy, and die. Reason: Her very first memory was seeing her parents killed at the age of four. She was raised by her older brother, Darren, on the streets until he was 19 and she was 15. It was then that demons attacked her city. Darren died in the assault, and she fell unconscious and woke up with a black curling tattoo on her left cheek that extends down to her left arm and onto her hand. Personally, I almost DIED when I heard the new Xehanort voice. AAAAGGGHH!! Richard Epcar =/= (does not equal) Billy Zane!!! Zane totally had this muted psychopathic menace thing going on in KHI, and Epcar just... did not. Just not. During the flashbacks, when they REPLACED THE ZANE AUDIO (!!!!!!!!!11!!11eleventy-one) with Epcar's, I threw a spazz. (flashback) Random: NOO, NOO, NOOO, WHAT ARE YOU DOING YOU FOOLS???? NOOOOOOOOO!!!!! I'm going with the idea that he wore it when he still looked like himself because his eyes might have been the first thing to begin to look like Ansem's, and he couldn't stand to see that reminder in himself. Then, of course, he had turned completely into Ansem, so...he really didn't need the blindfold (unless he wanted to cover himself in black cloth :p ). Although it's hard to explain how he got it back onto his eyes while we weren't lookign after the big explosion...thing. (fan-service, perhaps? :D ) *shrug* I might be reading too far into that. I like the theory that he himself didn't want to see what he was becoming, though--it's very angsty.
I'm pretty sure he was referring to Riku, and Riku's choice to capture Roxas to ensure that Sora would wake up. Random Symbolism Note: ALSO, it is generally accepted knowledge that Roxas' two Keyblades, Oblivion and Oathkeeper, are symbolically associated with Riku and Kairi respectively. (Oathkeeper is Kairi's good-luck charm, referring to Sora's promise to return it to her (Oath-keeper), and Oblivion is associated with Riku because a: you find it in Game One on a ledge behind where you fight Riku-possessed-by-Ansem, plus during said battle, he often shouts, "Welcome Oblivion!", and b: in Game Two, you get it after meeting up with Riku in the World that Never Was.) Keeping this association in mind, isn't it a little too coincidental that Roxas points at Sora accusingly with Oblivion when he beats Sora after asking the question "Why did he pick you?" I just thought that was interesting. :D
