Hey~~! This is a fanfic about a few OCs written by me and a friend.
Felicita (or Fel) is the main character. She meets another player named Switch. The first chapter is about how the two meet.
I'm gonna include other OCs later on in the story...

The punch of the monster went through my guard and sent me flying in the air. At the same time, I could see in my peripheral vision the blue shards dispersing from what was once one of my friends standing in the ambush.
I knew it in my heart that I was the last one alive, that all my friends that spent countless hours with me hunting, that the people I was laughing and talking with this morning were dead. Their brains had been fried by the cursed Nerve-Gear in the Real World.
As the reminder of the monsters converged on me, I looked up at the azure sky and silently accepted that this was the end of me, Felicita, in this death game called Sword Art Online. As the monster raised its fist to finish me off, I saw a flash of grey by my side as I felt my body suddenly being picked up and carried away.
I looked up, seeing a boy’s face, frowning slightly. He looked straight ahead concentrating on navigating through the dense forest. I slowly moved my arms up and around his neck. My movement caused him to glance down, brown eyes meeting mine. He flashed a smile then looked back in front of us. My eyes instantly looked down, as I felt my cheeks warm.
We reached a break in the woods. The boy slowed down and stopped in the center of the clearing. He set me down on the soft green grass.
“Hah...” he was breathing heavily after the dash. He knelt down beside me, asking, “Are you alright?”
I nodded in silence, still shaking from the adrenaline. Tears began to form in my eyes, the images of my friends getting killed running through my head. Every single one of my friends were gone. Forever.
I clenched my fists, gritting my teeth, trying to fight back tears, but it was no use. “Dammit...”my voice cracked. “E-Everyone’s gone... It’s all my fault. Stupid...” I smashed my fist into my thigh, cursing.
The boy stared at me, not knowing what to say. I felt something touch my shoulder. I looked up.
“It’s okay...” the boy said, his expression full of concern.
I frowned and the tears started again. I was the one who killed my friends. How can someone be so nice to me?! “Why?!” I shouted at him, “Why did you save me?! I should have been the one who died! Not them!!” I pounded my fists into his chest. “...It’s... It’s all my fault.” I said in a small voice, still sobbing.
I felt one of his arms go around me, and the other patted my head. “It’s okay.” He kept saying over and over again, stroking my hair.
I continued to cry into his chest. A complete stranger that rescued me just now, but I didn’t care.

Eventually, I calmed down to sniffles. I pulled away from him, realizing that he was a complete stranger to me. I quickly dried off my tears, stammering, “I-I’m sorry! I-I don’t... Um...” I was completely flustered.
The boy chuckled softly.
My voice trailed off.
“Oh! I’m sorry,” he realized that he was laughing. He brushed a hand through his messy black hair. “Um... My name is Switch. What’s yours?”
“F-Felicita. But you can call me Fel.”
“Fel,” Switch repeated. “Nice to meet you.”
“Same here.” I replied.
“Um... I’m not trying to... uh, hurt you or anything, but I’m curious about what happened back there,” he said slowly, trying to think of how to word it right.
“Oh...um...” I hesitated.
“You don’t have to if you don’t want to tell me.” He waved his hands
“N-No, it’s fine.”
I took a deep breath and began my story.

Any advice on inking stuff on GIMP? I know there's an option on Paint Tool SAI that helps with inking or something like that... What? told me. Is there an equivalent of that option in GIMP? Please let me know! I really want to ink some stuff on the computer, instead of inking a sketch then scanning it...
