VELOCIRAPTORS- I love the colour combinations and the smudging. The heart was very cute. :) ALLOSAURUS- The textures of this one won me over. I really like the feel of it, but the focal looks a little muddled which kept it from being a top vote for me. BRACHIOSAURUS- Lovely colours. :3 The focal is a bit too washed out for my tastes however, but other than that I really like this. :)
Those colours are gorgeous! You did a really nice job of nailing that particular style. I do think that the background patterns are a little distracting however, and takes away from the minimalist feel of the style. I would try a solid neutral background with some back lighting, or some kind of texture perhaps rather than any patterns with solid shapes.
I loved August Rush... people thought it was really cheesy but I love just about every actor/ress in that movie. Not to mention the soundtrack is gorgeous. :3
I'm re-reading the Inheritance Series atm to prepare for the release of the next book! I'm also reading this graphic novel series called Juuni Kokki... It's pretty intense!
Again backing up the childhood issue... Childhood really only happens once. However I do think that older children.... Say 13+ could benefit from work experience. At the very least, monitored work experience. Using myself as an example, my siblings and I all started working for our various family businesses over the years, and so we've always been a little more independent than our peers. On top of that our parents would have us do labour around the house... So we've always known how to cook for ourselves, clean for ourselves, do our own laundry. We learned these things all before the age of ten which we knew made us tougher than other kids. All three of us were never picked on in school because we knew how to fend for ourselves. It wasn't hard work at all though. It was either cashiering, or peeling green beans (we all also learned how to count money really young which became extremely useful!), or doing various side-jobs around the cafe. As we got older we'd start serving and waiting tables. You also have to understand that both my parents are first generation immigrants from Asia so to them, having a child work for you at a young age was very common since in Asia, more often than not the child would be expected to take over the family business, so it was crucial the child learn how business works at an early age. Of course they don't expect any of us to take over, but it wasn't forced work at all. We all could've said no if we wanted. :p
D'aww thanks guys. Avatar is my go-to movie. "I'm bored... what can we do?" "I dunno... Watch Avatar?"

I still love you RO :(
something new. :0 wanted to try some wacky colouring.
This is quite nice. I like the text. You always seem to work that quite nicely. I like this minimalist style you go for :D
Thank you! Hm... If you want to get into gfx sites there are a few that you can visit. FringeFX is my go-to. I retired from a staff position there not too long ago but it's really a great place and has a nice atmosphere for critique. They're trying to deviate from tagging but they're still tagger friendly. They're trying to focus more on painters and photographers in their community. VibrantFX is also a pretty good one and it's a bit more tagger friendly. They release some KICK ASS PSD packs, and some really great resources in the premium sections. Then there are art groups likes Revuh, Cosmyosis, and HeartSurge which are pretty awesome. They come out with periodical exhibitions of their artists and it's really inspiring to look at. Hope that helps :)
I wanna play! D: I'll finish if someone wants to start real quick.... D:
@Valium Thank you! It's actually a texture I used a liquefy filter over, then some brush strokes with my tablet, and more liquefying :) The textures I get from various places... Google.... FFX.... VFX... When you hang around bigger GFX sites you tend to pick up some really interesting resources. @Daxa Thank you. :) The last one is of Ventus from BBS.... But Sora, Ventus, and Roxas all have similar character designs so... s'cool. Lol
How've you guys been? Been a while Lol ihearduliekpokemanz :teehee: Spoiler Spoiler Just... random things I suppose. CnC and stuffz.

@reptar go for it. @Chev Thanks for the critique. Do you mind elaborating which sigs you're referring to? Maybe perhaps work on them a bit to show me what you mean? I don't mind visual examples. :)
I really love your sense of colouring. Your lighting schemes however nice, seem really consistent from tag to tag. I'd love to see you experiment with different kinds of lighting. Really really nice. Vibrant colours are sexy. Though I will say this; lay off the topaz :| I used to RAEP topaz but after a while the look just started to feel more limiting. Once I stopped using it I sort of... got a bad taste for it? Haha. I know a lot of others who say the same.
