Vexen was shocked beyond belief. Her hand flew up to her cheek that was pulsing with pain. She stared at Marluxia with disbelief. Trying to understand what just happened, she faught hard to hold back tears. Then, before she could say anything, Marluxia spoke. His words broke whatever remnants of a heart she had. Trying to speak, she found that she was speechless. She just wanted to rewind the last couple of minutes. "Mar... Marluxia?!" The woman was frozen, scared out of her wits. "What... just happened? What are... you talking about?" She sat in a corner and stayed perfectly still. Her eyes shimmered with tears that were begging to come out, and her cheek was a bright red color. ---------------------- OoC: Mari, I slap you back for hurting poor Vexen....:(
Vexen jumped back a bit when Marluxia opened his eyes, but soon the girl relaxed. Her brows furrowed; she was worried about her flower. Cupping the man's face in her hands, she smiled. She was too engrossed in the fact that he was alright and awake to realize his blank expression. "Marluxia, you have got to stop doing this to me." Vexen whispered this and then kissed the man lightly on his lips.
Just as her excitement and happiness was drowning away her fear, Marluxia fainted on the roses. Vexen was shocked as she kneeled next to him, running her fingers through his hair. "Marluxia!" A large group of people gathered and crowded the couple. Many of them were gasping and whispering about how sorry they felt for the two nobodies. One man screamed for someone to call an ambulance. Amidst all this chaos, Vexen was able to keep her wits. She had to get Marluxia out of this place quickly. But how? "Please, everyone move back! You guys need to give him room to breathe!" Vexen voice was load and hoarse, and she managed to make the crowd listen to her. But they were still in no position to portal anywhere. ****. What am I going to do?! Still kneeling, she held Marluxia's head on her lap and she gently rocked him back and forth. In the distance she could hear the sirens of an ambulance. She was running out of time. Suddenly, an idea popped into the scientist's mind. As the group's constant whispering continued, one member of the crowd called out, "Is that snow?" Just as he said this many tiny snowflakes began to fall from the sky. At first, the townspeople were astonished and in awe, delighted at this phenomenon. But then, ice began to fall from the sky, and the wind picked up considerably. Soon, the small sprinkle grew into a blizzard. As the townspeople panicked, Vexen had enough time to portal to her lab with Marluxia without being seen. Once there, the blonde placed her pink haired flower on her bed in her room, knowing that if whatever had been causing him trouble before was doing this now, she had no way to help Marluxia. She felt like crying, but instead she layed next to the man and whispered in his ear incessantly about how hw would be alright and that he could overcome this.... and that she loved him.
Vexen smiled. "I know..." After this, the couple enjoyed their meals. After doing so, the scientist was glad that she had thought to bring her wallet, and she insisted on paying. The two walked down a street trimmed with roses. The aroma was sweet. Since Marluxia had changed back into his older self, all worries had left Vexen's mind. She had in essence forgotten about the evil man who was terrorizing her flower before. Deep down inside she still remembered, but her happiness at the moment overpowered her negative thoughts. "What do you want to do, now? We can do ANYTHING!" Vexen spoke these words with a broad smile on her face. ---------------------------- OoC: Welcome back, Mish!

Vexen's eyesgrew wide as Marluxia returned her kiss with another stronger one. Then, she closed them and melted into the lips of the pink haired man, her body enveloped in an aura of the greatest happiness. How she had longed to do this so many times before. After the passionate kiss, the two sat back down, Vexen wearing a smile that accompanied her dazed eyes. She almost could not believe what had just happened. Sipping her water, she peered into the eyes of her flower. "I love you." She said this plainly with the utmost genuity (sp?). Then she chuckled, enveloped the man's hand in hers, and looked to the waitor who came back, asking the couple what they wanted to eat. After answering, the man left and Vexen and Marluxia were alone again. --------------------------- OoC: I love all of you! Vexen smiled at Marluxia's comment. She looked around and found that the two had landed in a dark alley. Leading the pink haired man with her, she walked out onto a moon lit sidewalk. People were sitting in small cafes and bars, while others were enjoying the acts of street performers and the warm night. "This place is perfect," she said, noticing the many flowers encompassing each corner and store. The scientist took a long breathe of air, smelling the sweet aroma of the colorful fauna. "Come on!" She pulled Marluxia with her, not able to control her happiness at having him back to his normal self. After some time, the two were sitting in a quiant little restaurant, sipping their drinks and waiting for their food. They were eagerly engaged in conversation. "I'm glad to have you back," Vexen whispered, taking the man's hand in hers. And then, before either was able to realize what was happening, Vexen's feelings took control and she passionately kissed Marluxia. ----------------------------- OoC: So sorry for the lack of posts! Vexen smiled as Marluxia slipped the flower behind her ear. "That sounds wonderful." She had not thought about ice and snow for quite a while, but thinking about it now made her long for the cold. Taking the pink haired man's hand in hers, she was about to open a portal when another scream echoed through the halls. It was Xemnas again, and he did not sound happy at all. Wincing, the scientist looked at Marluxia and whispered, "Let's get out of here fast, before he finds us." She really did not want to face Xemnas now... or ever. She finally opened the portal and pulled the man with her with unknown strength. ------------------ OoC: Mari, what does ai****eru mean...?
Vexen turned awya from Marluxia, pretending to think about where the two should go. In reality, she had to hide her bright red face. She had already confessed her love for the flower, but he had forgotten and now she was just as nervous as ever. "Well." The woman cleared her throat and breathed slightly, trying to calm herself. "Why don't we go to a town and eat at some restaurant or other?" She turned back to look at the man. "We should go somewhere with lots of flowers."
well first let me say that i love 'em all! great job! anyways, i voted for the first one because i thought that the composition was more interesting. the green balances the piece and gives it a sense of unity and completeness that the other two do not have. my second favorite was the second one. i just think that the text in the third one takes away from the image and kind of clashes with it. again, awesome job!
Vexen smiled in relief and playfully hit Marluxia for his joke. "Well, you're right. I did really want you back." That's when an all too familiar voice echoed through the castle, stinging the scientist's ears. In reply to the now older pink haired man Vexen nodded. "It certainly does look like he's back." Vexen rolled her eyes. She was not on the best terms with the group leader, and she hoped she would not have to deal with him. Turning her thoughts to happier matters, the woman smiled at Marluxia, moving some strands of hair that had somehow lost their place and lay over her face.. "I know that there's someone still lurking out there who could prove to be troublesome... but its been a while since you were like this. Do you want to go do something fun?" ------------------------- OoC: Wow... it looks like I may only be able to post once per day unless things settle down at school. Sorry guys. This is out first week back so I'm sure things will slow down soon. Sorry. I'm off to bed now.
Vexen was elated upon seeing her old Marluxia back! She smiled a mile long smile and jumped into the flower's arms. "I'm so glad you're back!" she squeeled, her arms still wrapped around the man. Then, after a few moments, the scientist let go and walked back, realizing what she had just heard the man say. "Nya? Please tell me you're trying to be cute." Vexen felt butterflies in her stomach. She was ready to have big Marluxia back. "Of course," she replied to the still tiny flower. The pair walked to the boy's room. The scientist could not help but smile the entire time. Once the two reached the room, Vexen said, "I guess I'll wait out here... you know, since you'll have to change and all." She blushed slightly and waited for a reply.
id have to agree with the consensus that people in a relationship need to be balanced as far as their similarities and differences go, or atleast more or less balanced. my parents share similar religious, political, and social beliefs, and a common cultural background. still, as people they are very different. my mother is grounded, rational, a movie lover, calm, and collected. my father, on the other hand, is hasty, a music lover, sporadic, and so on. they do not agree on all issues. still, their differences seem to balance their relationship. if you stick it out through the differences, you learn from your partner and accept that person. from what ive seen through my parents relationship, differences in two people can actually be quite essential to their relationship.
Vexen would have chuckled at Zexion and Marluxia's encounter, but her mind was preoccupied with the pink haired child's words. It was so preoccupied that she did not even notice the smell that the former had mentioned. The scientist worried about her flower, but at the same time she was excited that he had finally decided to return to his normal self. "You don't need to worry about us, Marluxia. We can watch out for ourselves." The woman kneeled next to the toddler. "I just want you back," she whispered, hugged the young boy. ---------------------- OoC: Welcome, Flowery Dreamer!
Vexen laughed when the pair reached the bathroom. She had imagined that the toddler was wailing about something serious, but all along he had only needed to use the bathroom. She waited outside, playing with her hair a little bit. Finally, Marluxia walked out, and then he spoke. Vexen was surprised. "You can speak, again?" She wondered how many more times his speach would pull a disappearing act and when it would finally stop. "While you are still able to speak, answer me this quickly." She did not want her flower to loose his talking ability too soon. "Why did you ask me what I would do for a heart?" This question had been lingering in her mind since the pink haired boy had mentioned it. --------------- OoC: Off to do homework. I may be back later.
Vexen looked to the tiny flower and was confused. "What is it, Marly? Do you need something?" The woman kneeled next to Marluxia, who continued pacing and wailing his arms. The scientist had to bite back her laugh, because the child looked absolutely ridiculous. Smiling, Vexen said, "If you need something, take my hand and show me what." The blonde grabbed the child gently so he would stop and took the his hand in hers, waiting for his response.
