those actually go into the fonts folder for your computer the font folder should be in the windows folder on your hard drive. if you dont use windows then i dont know...
yeah... but google and photobucket are like mining. you look for hours and hours and walk out with 3 pics if you are lucky... that's why i was hoping for a site just for those pics.

Here http://www.kh-vids.net/showthread.php?t=4395 you just copy and paste them into the brushes folder in the gimp data{sorry that is so vague, i dont remember all of the folder names} just find the folder named brushes... ti use them just go to click the brushes tool and you will be able to choose from the ones you have. a minor disclaimer though, if you have a lot of brushes and/or fonts your gimp will take longer to load...
one way to do this is to take an image in gimp and add all of the layers{frames} you want it it. when you save it as a gif it should ask to save it as an animation. there are lots of ways to do it though. this is just the way i know.
the way i learned everything about gimp was with trial and error. i mean, there are still things i cant do yet. but what you should do is try out an effect to see what it does, then try to use it to do what you want it to do. also it will help if you download a few brushes. just do that and you will eventualy get good enough to do sigs like mine. (yes, i made mine.) i only use sigs and avies that i made myself...
i dont have the problem with losing me work here, because it is all on a single photobucket album anyhow. and also in one folder on my computer. if people just do even one of those things then none of the suggestions here are remotely needed... and as far as new work goes, bumped threads are not a good way to show new work, as they are overlooked...

the shades of greens are to close together. i like the monochrome color theme, but you shuold have changed the contrast to make it look less blegh and plain. that and add a little more depth to the effects you use.
it is pretty good. i havent done those kind of effect in ages... the eye could have been better, as well as the edges. aside from the text being too plain, it is pretty good. keep it up. p.s. what program did you use?
yeah, i was also trying new effects on the whole thing. everything i did to this was something i've never used before. and i have been trying new stuff on gimp since i got it 2 years ago... but thanks, i appreciate it.
This is the first sig i have made since november 2007 when i made my old garra sig... this also happens to be the first sig i ever decided to make out of a stock. the reason for that was that i was too lazy to render it, lol. i figured i would post it here to see if i could get some cnc, so have at it.
