Okay, so it's like, 7 pm where I am right now, and I got up to go get something out of my bathroom. Well, it was pitch black in there so when I went to turn the light on, I acidentially tripped over a metal toilet paper canister thing we have and it made a really loud sound... i jumped like 10 feet because just moments before that I had heard a noise outside my window and I thought it was a burglar O_O man, I can get really paranoid sometimes XD
I had my first day of cheerleading practice today... and it was TORTURE! I didn't think they'd try to make me do the splits! Seriously! It hurt like h*ll! >.<
Yes, I know people have been making alot of stories like this so I give them full and complete credit! :) This story will be a secret until I post the first chapter and all I will say now is that Sora, Kairi, and Riku are all in it. I just need some characters for the story, so please fill out the form below if you would like to have your character in my story! ^.^ NO LONGER ACCEPTING CHARACTERS! I will post the first chapter as soon as I get some characters! They will not all be put in at once but I'll do my best to get all of you in there :) ~Chapter One~ “Aww… Do you guys have to go…?” Kairi asked. “Yeah… The king needs our help,” Riku replied. “We have to help him in any way we can.” Sora saw that Kairi looked upset. “Don’t worry. We’ll be back before you know it!” He said and smiled, giving her a thumbs up. Kairi seemed a bit more cheerful and a small smile grew on her face. “Just try and be careful…” She said. Sora nodded. “We will!” He said, grinning happily. The waves were crashing against the beach as the sun began to rise over the horizon. The palm trees on Destiny Islands were swaying gently in the breeze. Sora, Kairi and Riku were standing in the middle of the beach, saying their goodbyes as they began to board a gummi ship, which had Leon and Yuffie waiting inside. Once again, Sora and Riku had received a letter from the king. It had given strict orders that Kairi was not to go with them on this journey, as it would surely be a dangerous one and Kairi was a princess of heart. They could not afford to let her heart be taken again. “Did the letter say anything about what you’d be doing…?” Kairi asked. She was beginning to get worried. “No… Nothing…” Riku said, thinking hard about what the letter had said. “He just asked for us to meet him in Hollow Bastion and that it’s too dangerous to take you with us…” Sora remarked, thinking hard about the letter as well. He could see that Kairi was worried. “He walked over and put a hand on her shoulder. “We’ll be back soon, safe and sound… I promise,” He said and smiled soothingly Kairi smiled back. “Thanks, Sora…” She said. Riku looked over towards the dock. “Hey, Rinn! You ready to go?” He called, grinning. “Yeah!” A voice called from the dock. A girl was running towards them, her short, brown hair blowing lightly as she ran over and stood next to Sora, panting. “Sorry I took so long… Mom wanted to make sure that I’d be okay…” She said and giggled. She looked over at Riku, blushing a bit and looking down when she saw that he was looking at her. “So are we ready to go yet? I can’t wait!” Rinn said excitedly, jumping up and down anxiously. “Not yet… We’ve still got to wait for Kaori,” Riku said, looking at Sora as if it was his fault for her being late. “You did tell her to meet us at the beach by 5 o’clock, right?” He asked. “Of course I did!” Sora replied. “She said she had to take care of something before we left, though.” He looked around. “I wonder what she’s up to…” He thought aloud. Kairi looked around, too. “You guys can’t keep the king waiting for too long…” She said, not wanting them to be late. “Maybe you should leave without her…” “Leave without me? Yeah right! Like I would miss an opportunity like this!” A voice said from behind Kairi. A girl with short, black hair had shown up and was smiling. Her skirt was flowing in the breeze and her bright, brown eyes seemed to glimmer in the morning sun. She was holding a small bag in her hands. “I didn’t think that any of you had had breakfast yet, so I picked up something to take with us,” She said and smiled. Rinn skipped over to Kaori and looked at the bag. That was sweet of you!” She said and smiled. Then, she turned back to Sora and Riku. “C’mon! Let’s go now!” She said excitedly, dashing over to the gummi ship. “Hurry up, slowpokes!” Riku laughed and ran after her. “Alright, alright!” He shouted and stopped, turning back towards the rest of the group. “Come on, Kaori!” He shouted to her and got into the gummi ship. Kaori walked over to the gummi ship but then stopped, turning to face Sora. “You coming…?” She asked, tilting her head. “I’ll be there in a second…” He said and smiled. Kaori nodded and walked over to the ship. “Don’t take too long, though,” She said before boarding the ship. Sora nodded and turned to Kairi. Smiling, he reached into his pocket and took out a small item. “Here… I made this for you,” He said and handed it to her. It was a small necklace made of seashells. Thalassas shells to be exact. “I thought you might like it… I just wanted to show you that I’ll keep my promises. One day we will explore the worlds together…” He said and turned, running towards the ship. Kairi was blushing now. “Thanks, Sora…” She said and smiled. Sora turned to her while he was running and waved. “Bye! He shouted as he ran onto the ship, the door closing behind him. Kairi gripped the necklace tightly in her hands and waved goodbye as the ship flew up and out of view. “Bye… Sora…” She said. ~Chapter Two~ West of Destiny Islands was another world, much different than Destiny Islands. It was a place called Hallow Bastion. It was a small city that was dark and sometimes even creepy, but it was always bustling with people. No matter which way you try to go, there was always somebody nearby. However, the alleyways in the city were usually deserted, unless a group of kids had begun to use one as their hang out spot. Even so, Hallow Bastion was one of the most popular worlds in the universe. The gummi ship that had Sora, Riku, Rinn, and Kaori in it was soaring through the sky of Hollow Bastion. Slowly, the ship came to land on the roof of a tall building. As everybody got out of the gummi ship, they noticed a stranger nearby. A girl with long, wavy, brown hair was standing right by the gummi ship, her hands on her hips. She was wearing a black jacket with a hood and jeans with black boots. A smile crossed her lips as she watched the gang all staring at her in surprise. She giggled. “Hey, guys! I’m glad to see ya could make it!” Sora’s jaw dropped. “Akari?! What are you doing here?!” He asked and walked up to her, smiling, but he was completely surprised. “I came because I’m helping the king with your guys’ mission!” She said excitedly, grinning. Sora tilted his head. “But I thought you were training under Merlin as his pupil…?” He said, now really confused. “Nope! The king asked for my help and Merlin let me! Isn’t that great?!” She asked excitedly. Sora couldn’t help but laugh. “Yeah!” He said and smiled. Everybody else walked up behind him. “Hey, Sora! Who’s this? Your girlfriend?” Rinn asked. Sora and Akari immediately blushed. “N-No… She’s just a friend…” Sora said and tried to regain himself. “Anyways… She’s here to help us with our mission…” Sora said and smiled. Riku laughed. “Nice to see you again, Akari…” Akari tilted her head and smiled. “Hey, Riku!” She said. “Alright, you guys ready? The king asked me to take you to Merlin’s house…” Everybody nodded. “I’m ready for anything!” Kaori said and smiled. Rinn was jumping up and down excitedly. “Let’s just go already!” She said and smiled. Sora nodded. “Alright… lead the way, Akari…” Akari nodded and began walking. Everybody followed behind her. In almost no time at all, they had reached Merlin’s house. Akari stopped in front of the door and knocked on it lightly. In a few moments, a familiar person opened the door. Everybody was speechless, except for Sora. “Leon!” He shouted excitedly. “Hey! What’s up?” He said. Obviously, he hadn’t been expecting to see him there. Leon simply rolled his eyes. “Sora… Grow up. This is a very important mission and we can’t have you goofing off…” Sora stood still and nodded, trying hard to act serious. “Right… sorry…” He said and rubbed the back of his head. Leon stepped aside to let everybody come inside. Once everybody had gotten inside, Leon closed the door behind them and turned to face them. “Alright, everybody, listen up… I’m going to explain your mission to you…” He said and crossed his arms. Everybody looked at him intently, wanting to hear what he had to say. “As you know, the heartless were thought to have been destroyed, right? Well, even though Maleficent was destroyed, the heartless remained. It’s your guys’ job to go out and destroy the rest of the heartless…” He paused. “There’s one problem, though… For reasons that we have yet to figure out, the heartless keep respawning. The king has ordered me to get all of you to find the cause for this, and eliminate it. I can assure you that this won’t be an easy task… Are you up for it?” Everybody looked at each-other nervously but then nodded. “Yeah… I’m sure we can do it,” Riku said calmly. “We took out the heartless once before, right? I’m sure we could do it again…” Sora nodded. “Yeah! Those heartless are dead once we find ‘em!” Leon smirked. “Alright… then you’re good to go. The first place that the king wanted you all to head to was Twilight Town. They seem to have the most heartless out of everybody…” Kaori nodded. “Alright… Let’s go, guys!” She said and smiled. “Right!” Everybody said and started to walk out of the room. As everybody left, Leon stopped Sora and Riku. “Hold it…” He said. “Just remember to be careful when flying, guys… There are still some heartless ships out there…” Sora and Riku nodded. Leon looked a bit worried. “And just one last thing…” Leon reached into his pocket and took out two small bottles. He handed one to Riku and one to Sora. “Here. The kind told me to give these to you. Each bottle contains a bit of Flurry powder. It increases the power of your weapon ten fold. Just sprinkle a pinch of it over your weapon. Use it sparingly, because I can’t give you more…” He said and crossed his arms. “Right…” Sora said. “Thanks, Leon…” Both of them then turned around and ran out of the room. ~Chapter Three~ After hours of arguing with each other, the group finally decided that they would start at Traverse town, since this had been where most of their last journey’s events had taken place. They descended the gummi ship down to traverse town, landing in one of the alleyways. As everybody climbed out of the ship, they looked around. Merlin had told Akari to go along and help them on their journey. Once everybody was out of the ship, they headed into the main part of Traverse Town. Everything was just as Sora remembered it. There were bright lights and many people bustling around, going from shop to shop. Sora wanted to stop by and see Cid at the accessory shop, but Riku said no. “You know that we have a task to accomplish…” he said. Sora looked glum, but he nodded in agreement. “Okay… I have a plan,” He said. “How about we split up? That way we can take out more heartless faster…” Riku smiled. “That’s a great idea, Sora,” He said. “Alright… Sora, you go with Akari and Rinn to the back of the third district. Kaori and I will start at the front of the first district. Take out as many heartless as you can and work your way to the middle of the second district. We’ll meet you guys there, alright?” Sora nodded. “Okay. Let’s go, guys!” He ran off towards the third district with Akari and Rinn following him. Riku looked at Kaori and smiled. “You ready to fight some heartless?” He asked as he summoned his keyblade. Kaori grinned back at him. “Yeah…” She said and took her gunblade from her back. There was a swarm of heartless nearby and they decided to start there. Quickly, they ran over and started taking out the heartless. Riku swung his keyblade hard and destroyed about 3 heartless at once. Kaori shot down as many of them as she could. They slowly started to make their way through the first district. However, one heartless tried to sneak up behind Kaori. Luckily, Riku saw it. “Watch out!” He said to her and quickly hit the heartless with his keyblade, making it disappear into a black wisp of smoke. Kaori smiled. “Thanks, Riku…” She said, realizing what could’ve happened. Riku nodded. “Don’t mention it…” He said. “Now, come on… we have to keep moving…” They started destroying the heartless again. One by one, they evaporated into the air, leaving small, pink hearts behind. If the Organization were still around, they’d be thankful of Riku for destroying so many heartless. Soon enough, there weren’t any heartless for the time being, and Riku decided that they should probably take a rest before moving on. “Sora and the others probably aren’t even through half as much as we did…” He said and they both laughed. Kaori and Riku sat underneath a tree, drinking some water. Riku had his eyes closed and his hands were behind his head. However, Kaori was looking up at the sky. She stared at it in amazement and wonder, and then she suddenly started to talk. “Riku…?” She asked and he opened his eyes, looking at her. She looked at him. “Did you ever get the feeling that there’s more out there? More than just these few worlds that you’ve explored…?” Riku was a little confused. “Actually, not really…” He said. “I’ve been to every world that’s out there… I know that for a fact. There couldn’t possibly be more out there…” He looked up at the sky. Kaori looked at him and smiled nervously. “Yeah, you’re right. What was I thinking?” She said and laughed. “What more could there be…?” Suddenly, a figure approached them and Kaori looked up. “Excuse me…” He said and Riku looked up at him, listening. “Have either of you encountered a young girl answering to the name of Kaori?” He asked. Kaori immediately stood up and turned to face him. “That would be me…” She said as Riku stood up as well. “And just who are you…?” The man grinned. “I am Shay,” He said. His eyes seemed to glow with delight as he withdrew his sword. Suddenly, he swung the sword as hard as he could at Kaori. Quickly, she withdrew her gunblade, just in time to block the attack. “What the heck?!” She said, surprised. “What was that for?!” But the man didn’t answer. He simply gripped his sword tight and dashed at Kaori again, trying to hit her once more. Kaori’s gunblade clashed with the man’s broadsword and she held it there as best she could, but Shay was too powerful. She broke the clash and jumped backwards, skidding across the ground. However, the man still didn’t stop. He came up behind her quickly and held his sword to her throat. Riku tried to run over to her, but he stopped when Shay pressed the sword into her neck more as he got closer. “Leave her alone!” Riku shouted, trying to help in some way. Shay didn’t release Kaori. She gave a small cry of pain when he made a small cut on her neck as she tried to struggle away from him. “What is it you want?” Riku asked, but he still didn’t reply. Riku’s eyes widened as Shay suddenly smirked. “Goodbye…” He said. After those words, things happened so quickly that Riku couldn’t tell what was going on. He heard a scream and a thump on the ground. Suddenly, Shay had disappeared and a body lay on the ground. Riku was speechless. “K-Kaori!” He shouted and ran up to her and kneeled beside her. “Can you hear me…? Hey! Wake up!” He said, but she didn’t move at all. His jaw gaped open at what had just happened. He stared down at her. “K-Kaori… ~Chapter Four~ As Kaori fought with Shay over in the first district, Akari, Sora, and Rinn had arrived in the third district. “Okay, so let’s get started, huh?!” Akari asked excitedly, ready to fight. After training for so long under Merlin, she was ready to show what she could do. “Yay!” Rinn said. “We get to fight heartless!” Immediately, her necklace turned into a staff that she gripped tightly in her hands. Akari took a sword from it’s holder on her waist. It was the best sword that she had, which she only used on special occasions. Sora summoned his keyblade. “Alright… Let’s get started!” he said and ran off, starting to fight heartless. Akari and Rinn both began to fight the heartless, as well. Sora had run up to a huge group of heartless. Furiously, he swung his keyblade, destroying as many of the heartless as he could. He watched as the tiny, pink hearts floated into the sky. Luckily, they wouldn’t be going to the Organization anymore. Suddenly, Sora heard a scream. He looked around and saw Akari, but he didn’t see Rinn. “Akari!” He shouted. “Where did Rinn go?!” He asked. Akari pointed towards an alleyway. She saw some down there that she wanted to fight,” Akari responded. “Don’t worry, though. I’m making sure to keep an eye on her. She’s fine.” Soar let out a sigh of relief. “That’s good…” He thought and kept fighting. “But what was that scream, then…?” Suddenly, the scream could be heard again. This time, Sora was easily able to tell where it was coming from. “Guys! Come on!” He shouted to Rinn and Akari as he took of running towards the sound. Akari nodded and called Rinn out of the alleyway. Then, both of them started following Sora. “What’s wrong, Sora?!” Akari asked, worried. “I heard somebody scream!” He replied, running as fast as he could. Tiny beads of sweat ran down his face and Akari and Rinn struggled to keep up. “I wonder who it could be…” Rinn thought aloud. As they turned the corner, they all suddenly stopped running and stared at what they saw. There seemed to be a huge group of heartless, maybe about 20 of them. And, in the middle of them, was a small girl. She seemed to be about 5 years old. She had cute, blonde pigtails in her hair and her bright green eyes shone brightly in the streetlights. Her freckled face had a look of fear on it as the heartless tugged at her little, pink dress. A few of them had jumped on her and were trying to take her heart, and she was screaming loudly in fear. Sora immediately snapped out of it and ran forward to go help the little girl. Akari and Rinn followed. The little girl screamed loudly as they started to claw out her heart. Sora’s eyes widened. “Hang on!” He shouted and started to slash at the heartless, making them disappear into thin wisps of black smoke. Akari and Rinn did as best as they could to get rid of the heartless as well. “That’s it!” Akari shouted and jumped up. “Firagra!” She shouted and a huge wave of fire came from the tip of her sword and shot at the heartless. Many of the heartless were destroyed in that attack. “Nice job, Akari!!” Rinn said to her and smiled. Sora was amazed. “That was so COOL!” He exclaimed, smiling. However, they all continued to fight the heartless. They didn’t have time to stop. That little girl needed their help… With her heart almost entirely out, the little girl’s screams had died down to faint yells for help, as she was about to pass out. “Hang in there!” Rinn shouted to the little girl as she destroyed another heartless. Finally, they were right next to the little girl and they could get the heartless off of her. Swiftly, Sora swung his keyblade lightly and made all of the heartless on her disappear. The little girl gasped and fell to her knees as the heart returned to her body. However, she soon fell unconscious. Sora was surprised by her passing out. “Hey! Are you alright?!” Sora asked her, but she didn’t respond. Rinn hit him on the head. “Don’t be stupid, Sora! She can’t answer if she’s unconscious!” She said. Sora rubbed his head. “Oh… right… So what do we do?!” He asked nervously. “First of all, you calm down,” Akari said to him. “Secondly, I suggest we get her somewhere safer, like inside a building. We need to see if she’ll be okay and find out what exactly happened.” Sora nodded and bent over, scooping the small girl into his arms. “Okay. Let’s go inside that building!” He said, pointing to a nearby store. Quickly, with the small girl, the group ran towards the building, hoping to find out if she was okay or not. ~Chapter Five~ “K-Kaori…?” Riku was on his knees, kneeling down beside her sleeping body. Blood trickled down her neck and on to the ground, her eyes closed gently. She seemed so peaceful… so motionless. Riku didn’t know what to do. Had she… died? Swiftly, he moved his hand up so that they were hovering over the wound on her neck. “Curaga…” He muttered as his hands began to glow a bright green color. The cut had also started to glow bright green, too. Riku knew that it would heal the wound, but would it save her life? He had never tried to use it if somebody was this close to death. Tears started to fill Riku’s eyes when she still wouldn’t wake up, even though the wounds had healed. “Please wake up, Kaori… Please…” He whispered, but nothing happened. He dropped his hands to his sides sadly, giving up on any chance of saving her. If that didn’t work, then nothing would. Suddenly, her hand moved. Riku blinked in surprise as she opened her eyes and looked up at him. “R-Riku…?” She sat up and looked around, seeing that she had been on the ground. He grinned. “Kaori! Thank goodness you’re alright!” Riku exclaimed and grabbed her in a tight hug, but not tight enough to hurt her. Kaori smiled and hugged him back. She grinned, knowing exactly what he had done. He’d saved her. “Thanks, Riku…” She said and broke the hug. He smiled back at her. “No problem,” He said and stood up. He extended his hand to her and helped her back onto her feet. She gently placed her hand to her neck, feeling where the cut was. “Who was that guy…?” She wondered, but she didn’t say anything. “All right, then. I guess we should continue our way to the second district?” She suggested. Riku nodded. “Yeah, that’s a good idea. Sora, Akari, and Rinn are probably almost there already,” He said. So, Riku and Kaori started to fight their way towards the second district again. Riku made sure to keep a close eye on Kaori, just in case Shay came back again. He shot dark aura at many of the heartless around him. Kaori destroyed as many of them as she could. Soon, they found themselves standing in the middle of the second district. Sora, Akari, and Rinn were nearby, finishing off their last heartless. However, Kaori noticed that Sora was holding something… a small girl? Riku and Kaori ran up to them. “Hey, guys!” Kaori said. “Who’s that…?” She asked curiously, referring to the small girl. Riku seemed to want to know as well. “We don’t know…” Akari said. “She was being attacked by heartless, so we helped her,” Rinn explained. “But she passed out once we destroyed the heartless,” Sora finished. Riku seemed to be thinking about this. “Well, it doesn’t seem like the heartless took her heart…” Kaori said and felt her forehead. The girl was pale white and a cold sweat was running down her forehead. “There’s something wrong with her, though. She has a high fever.” Akari pondered for a second. “Maybe she’s ill because the heartless had her heart almost completely out…” She said. Everybody turned to look at her. “What do you mean?” Sora asked, confused. “Think about it for a second,” Rinn said. “There could be some possible side effects to almost having your heart taken…” Something suddenly popped into Kaori’s mind. “Or, perhaps the heartless took part of her heart…” She said. “If not all of her heart is taken, then her body can still function… But not as well as it normally would.” “Wait a second…” Sora said. “Then what happened to that part of her heart? Did it turn into a really small heartless or something?” Akari shook her head. “I don’t think so,” she said. “Although, it may have turned into some type of creature.” Riku looked down at the girl. “Well, we can’t just leave her here…” Riku said. “We have to find a way to help her.” Rinn was a bit shocked. “Riku, we can’t! Remember? We have a job to fulfill!” Sora stood up. “I’m not just going to leave her here!” he said. “We’ll find a way to help her! And who knows? Maybe this might lead us to the answer of why the heartless keep respawning.” Riku scooped the small girl in his arms and stood up as well. “Alright,” He said as everybody else began to stand up. “But where do we start looking for a cure?” Akari had an answer. “How about Merlin?” She asked. “I’m sure he can give us some answers.” Rinn nodded. “Okay!” she said excitedly. “Let’s head back to Hollow Bastion!” Everybody nodded and headed back to the gummi ship, ready to head back to Hallow Bastion and hopefully find some answers. ~Chapter Six~ Soon, the group had arrived back in Hallow Bastion. Once they had landed, then all filed out of the gummi ship and began to head towards Merlin’s house. Hopefully, he’d have something that could help the small girl. He was a wizard, after all. There was bound to be some type of potion or spell that could help. As they got closer to Merlin’s house, Riku looked down at the small girl he still held in his arms. Her face was very pale and she seemed to be in pain. He felt kind of bad for her, and was mad that Rinn would even think of leaving her there, although she was right. They had been given a job to fulfill, and it couldn’t wait for them to help some girl that they didn’t even know. Soon enough, Merlin’s house came into view. Sora smiled as they walked up to the door. Akari took a key out of her pocket and unlocked the door. “Hang on, guys…” She said. Since Akari was his student, Merlin had given her a key to get in and use his training room when he was busy with a project or wasn’t there. Quietly, they all walked inside and Rinn closed the door behind them. Akari led them to a back room where they found Merlin working on a project. “Umm… Merlin?” He looked up from his project and smiled at the group. “Why, hello there! Come in, come in! I’m just finishing up a small project. I’ll be with you in a brief moment,” he said and continued mixing a potion that he was working on. Sora and Riku looked at each other worriedly, but did as e said and walked into the room. They watched silently as Merlin finished the potion. However, many thoughts were flying through their heads. They all wanted to know what would happen next… Would the girl be okay? Would the figure out who was making more heartless appear? Once Merlin had finished, he turned to the group with a smile. “I’m sorry about that. Now, what is it you need?” Rinn stepped forward. “We were wondering if you could help us with something,” She said. Riku stepped forward with the small girl. “We were trying to clear out a few heartless in Traverse Town, and we discovered this girl being attacked by heartless. Sora, Akari, and Rinn managed to destroy the heartless before her heart was taken, but she doesn’t seem to be doing very well,” He explained. Merlin examined the small girl. “Is there anything you can do to help her?” Kaori asked. Merlin thought for a second, trying to think of any potions or spells that he might have. “Well, there’s a good chance that she might be in a stage of losing her heart,” Merlin said. “I’m not sure if I have a potion that can help…” He thought about every potion he had, unable to think of one that could help. The group looked at each other worriedly. “I know of a potion that can help,” A voice said from the doorway. Everyone turned to see a girl with curly brown hair. She was wearing a black and white, long sleeved shirt with a black mini skirt and strappy, black boots. Her hands were on her hips and a smirk spread across her face as she walked up to them. “It’s sure to help her get better,” She said, a glint of mischievousness behind her brown eyes. Sora glanced back at the girl, unsure. He then looked back at the stranger. “Who are you…?” He asked immediately. The girl smirked. “The name’s Zoe,” She said, pointing towards herself. She reached into her pocket and pulled out a bottle. “Now stop asking questions and have her drink this,” She said and tossed to bottle to Riku, who caught the bottle. He examined it. “How do we know that we can trust you?” He asked. Merlin stepped forward. “Ah, Zoe! It’s good to see you again!” He said and smiled walking over to her. He looked at the potion that she had given Riku. “That’s a Lixir…” He said, thinking. A smile then crossed his lips. “Yes, yes! That should work!” He said. “Good thinking, Zoe! As brilliant as always!” The group looked at each other and then shrugged, but they decided to try it. Riku uncorked the bottle. Kaori held the small girl’s head up as Riku had the small girl drink the concoction. Akari and Rinn glanced at each other worriedly. “Please let it work…” They all thought as they waited to see what would happen.

See if you can't figure out what the moral is :D ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ The winds blew softly and the grass swayed along in big fields. There was a small town that lay next to the fields called Riverview. This was a town where many rabbits lived with there families and grew up. It was a quite peaceful place. No dangers such as foxes or snakes lurked anywhere near this delicate town, and every rabbit lived a happy life. However, there was one specific thing that seemed to make this small city stand out: It was spotless. Everywhere you looked, things would be neat and orderly. There wasn’t any dirt in the houses and every rabbit had perfectly clean fur, especially the young rabbits. Most families out in this area had a lot of money, so they could easily afford grooming and caretaking for their fur. Hardly any filthy rabbits were seen in the area. Each and every rabbit would go to the same school. That school was called Riverview Academy. The younger rabbits would take classes on the top floor of the burrow and the older rabbits would have classes on the bottom floor. Everybody was kind to each other. The school was also spotless, just like the rest of the small town. One day, a new family moved into the peaceful town. They lived on the outskirts of town because nobody would sell them a house closer in town. This was because their whole family was filthy. Their fur was matted and they were covered in dirt. Everybody tried to avoid the family because they didn’t want them messing up the rest of their town. It was also said that any rabbit that wasn’t clean was just a cruel monster. Once that rumor had spread, everybody in town had believed it and the family was shunned from the rest of the town. Their lives were hard since nobody would talk to them or come anywhere near them. It was even harder for the little rabbit, though. He had attended school every day since he moved there, but nobody had even talked to him once. When he would get near any other students, and then would move away. The poor rabbit always sat in the back of the class and had no friends. However, one day, the young rabbit was sitting by himself eating his lunch. Everybody sat on the other side of the cafeteria. Although, a curious young rabbit had seen the poor rabbit sitting all by himself and he asked the rest of the rabbits, “Why not go sit with him…? He’s doing nothing wrong…†A white-furred rabbit stood up and spoke to the curious rabbit. “Because he’s dirty! He will be cruel to us!†However, the young rabbit refused to believe it. “Nonsense! That is just some silly rumor! Look, and I shall prove it to you!†So the rabbit took his lunch and sat down right next to the lonely rabbit. “Hello,†He said cheerfully. “My name is Skipper. What’s yours?†The new rabbit seemed quite shocked by Skipper sitting with him. “I’m Rocky…†He said. “Nice to meet you, Skipper.†Skipper tilted his head at Rocky. “Nice to meet you, too…†He said and grinned. The two rabbits talked with one another for the rest of the lunch period. In fact, they talked with each other for the rest of the day, and soon they had become best friends. Now, the other rabbits in town had seen this and they began to become curious. One nice lady in town went over to Rocky’s house and offered him and his family some homemade carrot cake. Soon, the town had accepted the family into their civilization. It was then that the people of Riverview realized that it doesn’t matter what you look like, it just matters how you act.
Okay... so I went to a renaissance fair today... and I was all dressed up in my water fairy costume :3 Right when I entered through the front gate, there was some guy there who was greeting everybody... but he greeted me differently than everybody else... He said "My, aren't you a lovely fairy?" and kissed my hand! I was blushing so hard! I absolutely hate it when people do that! And what's worse is that my whole family thought it was cute so they made him do it again so that they could take pictures -_- Weirdest thing tha ever happened to me... >.<

Sitting in This empty room The air is calm I'm engulfed by darkness All alone Nobody's around Can someone help me? I'm feeling lonely All by myself I'm scared The darkness is frightening I wish you were here Please protect me Save me from the dark Help me escape my fate Rescue me I can't breathe My vision's blurred I can feel blood on my neck I'm dying without you We made a promise When one of us dies We die together But you're not here My heart is aching I miss you so much I want to share my final moments With you I'm lying here On this cold, stone floor Nobody's here And I'm dying without you ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Just a short little poem I made... for anybody who doesn't understand, the story is about two people, a guy and a girl. They made a promise that they'd stay by each-other's sides forever, even when they die. But one of them is dying and the other isn't there, so that person who's dying is feeling lonely and sad, because the only thing they wanted was to share their last moments with the other person... Yes, I know it's a bit sad... but I'm in the mood for a sad poem this morning... comment please? or anything I should work on...?

XD This is one of the few novels that I've written that I hope to finish some day... and if it's good enough then hopefully I can get it published... :3 Anyways, I know that it's not the same format that u guys usually use... like pressing enter every time somebody talks... but It doesn't matter because I don't have to do it a certain way... Last time I tried to do it that way it was hard for people to understand so I'm doing a different format... Either way I hope you enjoy it because I've worked pretty hard on this... I will try and post new chapters as soon as I can... but I'm slow at writing so they might take me awhile... XP Okay... sorry for the rant :sweatdrop: Enjoy! ~Prologue~ “Agh!” A girl yelled out in pain as she was thrown against the cold, hard floor. Her eyes shifted upwards, her matted, blonde hair hanging lifeless in front of her face. A look of fear formed in her eyes as she gazed up at a man in a black ski mask who towered over her. “Where is it?!” He asked, pulling her up by her collar. “I-I don’t know what you’re talking about…” The girl stuttered, now quaking with fear. The man didn’t seem to be too pleased with her answer. “Don’t mess with me!” He shouted and slapped her hard across the face, causing her to shout in pain. “You know what I’m talking about! Now tell me where it is!” he demanded, glaring down at the helpless girl. She whimpered in fear. “I-I already told you that I’ve never heard of a Fire Crystal…” She replied, warm tears now streaming silently down her cheeks. The man let out a low growl. “You good-for-nothing housewife!” He shouted and threw her to the side. She let out a yelp as she hit her head on the hard, wooden floor, falling unconscious. “If you won’t tell me where it is… then I’ll just find it myself!” He shouted, even though she couldn’t hear him. Then, with nothing more than a glance at her, he was gone. ~ ~Chapter One~ I walked down the street, a steel pan resting gently in my arms. The pan contained a cake that I had baked and I was taking it to my friend for her to enjoy. There was also a small, green bag on my arm that contained a book. This book was a Japanese-English dictionary. It was supposed to help you learn how to speak Japanese. I knew that my friend had always wanted this book, and now was the perfect time to get it for her. Today was actually her birthday. She was going to turn 21, and I wanted this to be the best day of her life. However, I hadn’t gotten the chance to throw her a surprise party. To say the truth, I had actually forgotten about her birthday until the last minute. When I realized that her birthday was the next day, I spent all night searching for the perfect gift to give her. That gift just happened to be this very book. As I turned to corner, her house came into view. It was a beautiful, two-story home. The walls were painted a light shade of Beige and the windows gleamed brightly in the morning sunlight. It was a marvelous sight to behold. Every time I came anywhere near it, I wished that my home was just as beautiful. Slowly, I hopped up the doorsteps, but then I found the door wide open, swinging lifelessly on its hinges. My eyes widened a bit with worry. “Hello…?” I called out, stepping into the house. “Lacy…?” As I walked into the house, I emerged into the living room, gripping the pan tightly in my hands. My eyes grew even wider as I stared in complete shock at the room. It was completely trashed. The T.V set laid in pieces on the floor and the couch was tipped over, torn to bits. Papers littered the ground and furniture was in pieces. My jaw dropped at the terrifying sight. “W-What happened?!” I exclaimed, staring at the mess. “L-Lacy?! Are you here?! Please answer me!” I hollered, slowly making my way around the mess, stepping over broken wood and trying not to slip on loose papers. As I turned the corner, I felt my stomach tighten up. Is she okay…? What happened here…? I wondered, making my way into the kitchen. It was just as bad as the living room. There were pots and pans and dishes all over the floor, and the cabinet doors swung on their hinges. The walls had holes in them and the furniture in here was also broken, but I wasn’t paying attention to any of it. A gasp of pure terror came from my mouth at what I saw on the floor. On the floor was my best friend, Lacy. Her blonde hair was covering her face and her clothes were torn. It looked as though she had just been in a fight and had lost. “Lacy!” I shouted and dropped the pan on the floor as I quickly ran over and kneeled next to her. She seemed to be unconscious. She’s beaten up pretty badly… I thought, seeing that she had gotten a couple scratches and a black eye. She had obviously fallen unconscious by hitting her head on the floor. I need to take care of her injuries… I can ask her what happened when she wakes up… Carefully, I bent down and picked her up in my arms, carrying her sleeping body out of the kitchen. I walked to the stairs and ran up to the bedroom, being very careful as not to drop her. Gently, I laid her on the pink bed in the corner. Then, I ran to her bathroom really quick and searched through the mess until I found some ointment and bandages. Quickly, I dashed back to the room and sat down in a chair, leaning over her. I swiftly applied the ointment on her scratches and wrapped them up with bandages. Her head was the hardest to do. It’s bleeding pretty badly… She must’ve hit it hard… I thought, using a towel I had found to wipe away the blood from her head. The bandages wrapped around her head pretty easily and I made sure that they fit snug. There… now hopefully she’ll wake up soon… I hoped that she hadn’t gotten a concussion. That night was probably one of the longest of my life. I stayed at her bedside until sunrise, not even falling asleep once. She had remained unconscious that whole time, but it gave me a while to think things over. I pondered over what could’ve happened to her that day. A few thoughts came to my head. Could it have been a thief…? Or a murderer…? But if it was a murderer… why did they tear the house up…? I continued to ponder this one thought all not, choosing not to sleep just in case she woke up any time soon. By about nine a.m., nothing had happened. I started to wonder if I should take her to a hospital. Although, I wasn’t able to afford a doctor. My paychecks at work had been getting less and less every week, but I had just enough to get by. Neither of us had insurance, so that wouldn’t work. I didn’t need a doctor, though. A moment later, her finger twitched a little and her eyes slowly opened. She stared up at me blankly, and then scanned the room. “Where… Am I…?” Lacy asked, staring up at me again. “Nami…?” I let out a small sigh of relief, glad to see that she was safe. “You’re in your bedroom, Lacy…” I said. “I came here as a surprise for your birthday, but I found you lying on the kitchen floor… What happened to you?” I asked, curious to know. “Who hurt you?” She sat up and looked at me, but then looked at the ground. “I don’t know who it was,” she said. “It was a man. He was wearing a mask so I couldn’t see his face, but he was after the Fire Crystal…” That answer had given me a complete shock. “The Fire Crystal?!” I said, my eyes wide. What could they possibly want with that…?! I wondered. Gently, I placed my hand on her shoulder. “Did you tell him where it was…?” I asked, hoping that she had kept it a secret. If anyone were to get their hands on it, that would surely be the end of the world. Akari shook her head wearily. “No… I didn’t… I promised you I would do anything to keep it a secret… didn’t I?” She asked, smiling. I smiled back, sadly. “Lacy… you didn’t have to go and get yourself hurt…” I said. “You’re much more important than that… Besides, I got us into this mess… So you shouldn’t be risking your life to keep our secret safe…” Letting out a sigh, I gently took her hand in mine. “You should rest for now… Come stay at my house until yours can get cleaned up…” I said and smiled. She nodded in agreement and I picked her up, walking around the debris and out through the front door. We started heading towards my house. I just hoped that the man wouldn’t come after me next… ~Chapter Two~ That night, Lacy has spent the night at my house. I had let her sleep in the bedroom because she was injured and the couch was so lumpy that it might make her wounds open. So, that’s where I slept that night. All I can say is that it was not a pleasant experience. I roll around in my sleep, so I ended up falling off of the couch numerous times in the middle of the night. I must’ve hit my head on the ground a million times. The next morning I awoke with a groan. My back was killing me from the couch’s lumpy surface. Slowly, I sat up and stretched, cracking my back as I did so. My blonde hair curled in a mess around my face. I should probably go see how Lacy’s doing… I thought and stood up, walking to the bedroom. I quietly peeked my head in the door to see that she was still asleep. Smiling, I silently closed the door again and walked to the kitchen. I’ll just let her rest for now… Once in the kitchen, I headed towards the refrigerator. Then, I opened it, searching for something good to make for breakfast. I began to wonder what Lacy liked to eat. After a while of searching through the kitchen, I finally decided to just make breakfast burritos. As I cooked, I quietly hummed a tune. It was pretty surprising that I could even hum with all that was on my mind. There was a lot that had to be done… The day was starting to draw nearer. We have to be ready for anything… I thought. Suddenly, I heard a noise behind me. I turned around quickly, but my hand touched the edge of the pan I was cooking with. I let out a yelp of pain as I grasped my burned hand with my other one. Lacy ran up to me. “Gomenasai!” she said. “I didn’t mean to startle you! Are you okay?!” She asked. I looked up at her. “It’s okay…” I said. “Just a little burn…” I let out a breath of air and smiled. “So, how are you feeling…?” I asked. “You seem to be doing much better than you were.” “Oh, I feel really well!” She said and grinned. “Thank you for letting me stay the night.” I laughed. “No problem, but you should probably rest for a while. Those wounds could get worse.” She nodded, but then a serious look came to her face. “Nami… You know that it’s not your fault for my getting hurt,” She said. I gave her a sad look. “It’s my own fault for being clumsy. You had nothing to do with it.” I still wasn’t happy. It was because of my stupid stone that she got hurt. When she saw I was still upset, she let out a sigh and remained quiet for a bit. It wasn’t until a long pause that she finally spoke. “Do you remember when you first showed me the stone…?” She asked and smiled, closing her eyes. I turned the stove off and looked up at her, but I didn’t say anything. She kept talking. “I was really surprised. The story of that stone seemed so amazing… and dangerous. I didn’t want anything to do with it at first, but I saw that you really needed help. You’re my friend and it just so happened that you were forced to be stuck with this problem. Well, remember what I said? I promised you that no matter what happened, I’ll help you out. We’re in this together.” She smiled at me. I smiled back as tears filled my eyes. “Lacy…” Gently, she gave me a hug. “Don’t worry… we’ll get through this. We’ll save the world…” The tears fell down my cheeks and I wiped them away. “You’re the best friend I’ve ever had…” I said and broke the hug, still smiling. “Now, how about some breakfast? We have a lot to do today… The day is drawing near…” She nodded and looked at the stuff I had made. “Wow… this is amazing!” She exclaimed. “You’re such a great chef!” I laughed. “Thanks,” I replied. “Go ahead and help yourself to anything you want. There’s plenty here!” We both then sat down and began to eat breakfast. It was almost time to prepare for the day… the day that war would strike this world. After both of us had finished eating, we began to wash the dishes. I would wash them and then I’d hand them over to Lacy to dry and put away. While I was washing a plate, I looked over at her. “You know… if they get their hands on that crystal, we have to do anything we can to get it back…” I handed the now clean plate to her. “We can’t even let them get a hold of it in the first place… we may have to leave town…” Lacy looked at me, frightened. “L-Leave… t-town…?” She asked. I gave a small sigh. “I know you’ve never gone beyond the outskirts of this town, but you were well aware that you’d have to some day… no matter how scared you were…” I said. Lacy sighed and put the dish away once it was dry. “Yeah… I know…” She said softly. “But who do you think it was…? You, know… The guy who broke into my house,” She said. I handed her a clean cup. “Well, it was probably one of Xathor’s lackeys…” I said, rolling my eyes. “Anyways, there’s a strong chance that they might come back… They know where you are now, and they’re pretty sure that you’ve got the crystal. We’re going to have to leave town tomorrow if we don’t want them to find it. We’ll start packing tonight so that we can be ready to go early tomorrow morning.” I paused for a second. “I know you’re brave enough to do this, Lacy…” She smiled at me. “Alright. We’ll leave tomorrow, then,” She said.
