@Brooklyn Since the stupid thing won't let me quote: I draw! *Hand 6* *Standby Phase* Anything?
All right then, my turn! I draw! *Hand 6* *Standby Phase* Anything?
I don't even have to do that. Just TCG is all I need lol.
My search: Continue. Second character takedown. I can handle this.
I search: Continue.
As a matter of fact, yes. I chain: I lose my machine line and my appropriate, but my Arc Reactor can't be destroyed by card effects! Continue.
No. This is my chain. So I'll be getting my two cards now. *Hand 3*
Yes, actually. I'll activate appropriate! Allowing me two cards as well! *Hand 3* Continue.
No. Nothing yet. You and your accursed Maxx 'C'!
I'm in. 80 cards. I have to test my custom deck anyways. I'll start! *Draw Phase* I draw. *Hand 6* *Standby Phase* N/A *Main Phase 1* I'll start with the spell card Reactor Development! With this, I search the spell card Arc Reactor Mk. II! Let's do this, I activate the spell card Arc Reactor Mk. II! Which allows me to special summon the five parts of the Mk. II armor! Now, I activate the effect of the Mk. II Helmet! Once per turn, I can search for a "Mk. III" monster, so I search for the Mk. III helmet! Which I now special summon by tributing the Mk. II helmet! Now, I activate the effect of the Mk. III helmet! Searching: Now, I tribute my Mk. II shield arm to summon my Mk. III shield arm! Now, I'll set three cards face-down... And I'll activate the spell card machine assembly line! *End Phase* That's all for now. *Hand 1* Field: *ATK 3700*
aye. Iron Man. Will show how it's played if I can get someone for it
If it helps to interest people, I can show people the theme of my deck with one pic. Spoiler
All right... who would like to take a shot against my new custom deck?
Honest vs. Honest It does indeed start a chain, and the one that is chain link 1 is always the winner. Also, turn player has priority to decide whether or not to activate their honest first. Goes like this: Example: Judgment Dragon (Opponent: 3000) vs. Hieratic Dragon King of Atum (Turn Player: 2400) Atum declares attack on JD: Damage calculation: Turn player drops Honest, becomes chain link 1 (Unresolved) Only chance to chain here: Opponent drops Honest, becomes chain link 2 (Unresolved) Resolves in reverse order: Chain Link 2 (Judgment Dragon: 3000 + 2400 = 5400 ATK) Chain Link 1 (Atum: 2400 + 5400 = 7800 ATK) Atum destroys JD, and opponent takes 2400 damage.
Depends how it opens. Usually a Pegasus + Rare Value or Beetron can get it going pretty well.
Oh, you guys want original? How's about Crystal Beast Inzektors? http://s1107.photobucket.com/albums/h397/nemesisvengence/?action=view¤t=CrystalBugs.png for zoom. Don't know why it's staying small.
This person confuses me... girl or trap? I can't really tell lol
*sigh* ... why do I suddenly want to stop playing this game...? Meta decks take NO skill to play, and they're all BUILT that way. Used to be the archtypes were the base for the deck ideas that were winning, but now it's just the archtypes themselves... it takes ZERO thinking to build a tier one deck. To prove my case, let's do a roll-call of the current high-tier decks(The ones I know of): Wind-ups (Archetype + staples, zero skill to play) Inzektors (Archetype + staples, ZERO skill to play) Dino-Rabbits (Not necessarily archetype, but auto-pilot deck nonetheless, normal monsters + staples, that's it) Hieratic (Not there yet, but new archetype, slated to be new high-tier, just an archetype from 1 set + staples) Six-Sam (Not technically high-tier until new Xyz comes out, but still invincible if it sacks first hand, and all it is is an archetype + staples...) The following are upper tier decks that are at least SOMEWHAT respectable: HERO (This is the closest I can come to a respectable high-tier deck, but it runs so much back row it pains me to think about it) Chaos Dragon (A structure deck + typical twilight, designs been there for years, all you have to do is add dragons (Not quite as bad)) Even if they're not as bad, this is more about the game as a whole rather than any individual deck type taking no skill to play (Which is true) As they seem to be running out of more subtle ways to make cards, they're simply relying on more and more broken archetypes. The downhill roll has started, and who knows how far down it'll go... perhaps it is better if I get off now before it hits bottom...
Umm... Jaden... Heros are still good... if you were watching tournament results, you'd know that bubbleman hero beatdown is doing very well in tourneys... and only runs 7-9 monsters... (But is still very consistent)
Good, but not quite... lol That's what I meant XD
