Oh also I forgot to mention this but I have an exam on lasers tomorrow so afterwards I may be qualified to help out @Beucefilous with the improvement/maintenance of the lasers on board. Thinking of also making one for the med bay to help me with any tricky operations.
Ooh this thread isn't dead yet? So I have an exam on Tuesday with soft nanotechnology quantum transport and quantum confined semiconductors on it. I still don't understand most of it. Three days, do you think I can do it?
That sounds amazing. Unfortunately, I'm a too far away (I'm up North) and will be in the middle of my exam period but I really hope you guys have an amazing time. You're both awesome. (I'd have gone if you'd have done it during the summer holidays while I was down south)

Tbh it's more to do with I'm not really a pet person, I'd rather just watch animals from a distance than it is to do with the type of dog. I'm very awkward when petting animals. But, but when the apocalypse comes enough people will die anyway, why do you want to just use it as an excuse to kill more people??
So I'm really nervous about doing this, I barely ever update my ipod so it's not really been updated in ages and I have like zero confidence in my taste in music. Here goes nothing (after my oh **** where did I put my ipod moment) 1. We are Champions - Queen Well, you can't go wrong with a bit of queen. Not my favourite of their songs but I still enjoy it, it reminds me of school when I was the leader of a quiz team called the champions and I seem to recall we did pretty damn well. 2. Town Called Malice - The Jam brb dancing ^,^ A very lively tune that makes me want to get up and dance and yeah, very upbeat. 3. Carwash - Rose Royce Pretty sure this is off Shark Tale, but I actually got it from an album I bought for my mum for Mothers Day then ended up putting all the ones I liked on my ipod xD But yeah, again quite a upbeat song. 3. Turning Japanese - The Vapors Can you tell I like older music?? I've also been able to sing most of these word for word. But yeah, fast beat and something i can dance to. 4. Vanilla Twilight - Owl City Bit of a change of pace, this was my favourite song for quite a while. I love the lyrics and the tune and yeah, I really like this song. 5. Your Song - Elton John Don't judge, it's actually a really nice song, that's nice to just listen to sometimes. 6. Reward - The Teardrop Explodes Huh, third song off the Teenage Kicks compilation album. Not my favourite but it's lively and fun to listen to. 7. Thank You - Dido Not really listened to this one as much as the others (still can sing along?) but I like it, nice tune and yeah, I'm not good at this commentary thing. 8. One Better Day - Madness I was wondering if any Madness was going to come up, I have one of their albums on here and it's been coming up a lot recently. I really like their music though this is one of the ones that I'm not so bothered about. 9. You're still the one - Shania Twain A bit more relaxing(ish) and it's nice. Yeah. 10. Jimmy Jimmy - Madonna Oh my god, I used to love this song. Still can sing along word for word. (Though as you should be able to tell by now I'm rubbish at explaining why I like songs) I really liked most of her True Blue album, though I'm not as bothered about her more recent stuff. Yeah, I suck at doing this.

Yeah, it's pretty awesome. I'm just trying really hard not to break anything or put my eye in the laser. Though what I have to wear to go into the room with the laser means I look truely fabulous. (hairnet, overcoat, overshoes ect.) I've only worked there for a month!! No promises.
I'm good!! I got an internship over the summer holidays working on really huge and powerful lasers, so that's what I'm doing at the moment.
Well in my case it's not so much my health, more it would be pointless for me to try giving blood since they wouldn't be able to use the half a bag I could give. It terms of age, you have to be at least 17 in the UK, I don't know what if it's the same in america.
So I've not been on khv that much lately (can you tell by my Christmas sig?), how is life treating you all? I see you're as random as ever on here at least.
I'm kinda disappointed in myself as a physicist for not getting this but then again I've only ever known the quarks as up, down, top, bottom, strange and charm. I've never known top and bottom as truth and beauty. Although even then I don't know the energy of them so ah well.
