Hey, I'm Helmsgirl, I'm controlling the ship albeit quietly, don't take my role away from me. That said did we end up deciding on our next destination yet? But at the same time, I wouldn't object to an upgrade.

Yeah, I would really like a vote count pretty soon.

I still think what you've said should definitely be discussed and maybe even used as a basis to start the discussions tomorrow with. I'm just not sure we have enough time remaining today to discuss this well enough

Also I agree with Cat here, nobody else vote!! Let's make the most of the day

This isn't working for me. The number of replies isn't blue. However I know an alternate way to do that.

While on this thread go up to the search box and click on it. Tick the 'search this thread only' box, and put the person you want to search for's username in the 'Posted by member:' box then click 'search'

Yay, Krowley's here and I'm liking the analysis. I think what you've said is definitely worth discussing but I still maintain my points about lynching someone inactive/unhelpful today. I'm about to go to bed so I can't do much more today. This is helpful to town though, so I don't think we should lynch you.

Also Makaze said that your posts replying to him don't count, so you need to post at least 2 more times if you don't want to be forcibly subbed out.

Particularly when the previous player came out due to inactivity and not because they were overly suspicious. If the previous player was overly suspicious it's worth remembering though because subs can come into a mafia role. Just that they subbed in doesn't mean they are innocent. It's interesting to see how attitudes change between the predecessor and newcomer, for example if the same people defend them or if someone goes from seriously suspecting them to being convinced the sub in is town. That said, I'm still not that amazing at analysis so I'm not sure if changing your attitude or keeping it the same is more sus.

Soo here's a thought, if Krowley does not reappear before the deadline then he will be subbed out against his will (see Makaze's post above). In this situation would we still want to lynch him bearing in mind that the subbed in player might be better and we have the option of getting rid of a known not very helpful player. Or in that instance would it be better to lynch him and save the trouble of replacing him.

I mean this might be completely irrelevant as Krowley only needs one more post to be safe and he may very well appear again before the deadline. If so he can hopefully help contribute a bit more. I just wanted to bring this to the attention of everyone else that that was a possibility.

Also as it stands G-Dog and Krowley are tied for 3 votes, if it was to end like this one of those two would be randomly chosen to be lynched. I think?

Hmm so that means that currently both G-Dog and Krowley have 3 votes. With more and more people actually inputting their votes, do still be aware that at 7 votes it is HARD LYNCH. We still have 8 hours to go (though I'll be going to sleep in 4).

Also Krowley hasn't actually cleared the 5 post minimum rule yet, he's only on 4 (2 of which were responding to Makaze).

@Makaze what actually happens if someone fails to post 5 times?

Thanks for that, though I'm not sure who the person I was suspicious of was. I can understand him voting for me if I'm the only one who he finds suspicious, even if I might not agree with (or understand) his reasons for finding me suspicious.

Honestly right now, I have no idea who is mafia and I'm not finding anyone suspicious. I'm not really sure anyone has any proper idea of who is mafia yet. (That said with the amount of posts that have been made now, there may be some clues) however, with what we have so far we are very likely to accidentally lynch a town member. If we accidentally lynch an active and helpful town member, that could be really bad for town. Therefore on this first night, almost as damage reduction, our best bet is to lynch the person who is the most inactive and/or least helpful to town.

As for people not voting yet, it might be that they agree with the person who currently has the most votes and don't want to bring it too close to a hard lynch or it might be that they haven't made up their minds yet. Not everyone has to vote, not voting is also an option and one that can be later analysed in the same way that voting for someone can.

Welcome to the game, Judge. Good luck reading through everything, we're on the 11th page already. Once you're finished I would be very interested in hearing your thoughts on if you think anybody is suspicious and who you think would be the best option to lynch.

Also sorry G-dog but other than you still suspect me, I didn't understand the rest of your post. Also I maintain that tonight, we want to avoid lynching any active player who is giving in depth posts. These players are going to be more helpful later on and if mafia are more likely to slip up.

You may have already noticed but I wanted to point it out more with you saying this. This game is different to previous ones on here. There is no soft lynch. It is very hard not to lynch someone. If there are no votes then a random person is lynched (we want to avoid this at all costs), if there are votes regardless of how little the person with the most is lynched. The only way to not lynch someone is if the vote to no lynch is in the lead.

I don't think we should vote for no lynch. I think we should have a lynch, otherwise the mafia get a free kill on us. Yes, there's a high chance we will hit town but there is also a chance we will hit mafia. By doing this we can take out the uncertain aspect of someone who is inactive and/or unhelpful (instead of being like are they mafia or just really bad at the game), while simultaniously creating an environment where the mafia can't be inactive or they are at high risk or being suspected/lynched.

    Welcome to the game Cat.

Okay, @al215, @Calxiyn and @. : tale : ., I think you should unvote Cat/Blaine. I don't know if votes are transferred over but if they are you should remove them. My reasoning for this is that all the reasons for voting for Blaine before are no longer valid with Cat. Just from her first post in this thread, I think she is going to be helpful to town so I don't think we should lynch her this early.

This does mean though that we need to decide who we want to lynch, the time limit is getting closer and I want us all to agree on what we're doing.

@Kingdom Hearts530 Who do you think we should lynch? Do you find anyone suspicious? If not, who do you think is the most unhelpful and would be the least loss to town if they were to be lynched?

So I've been going down the player list and searching people's posts in this thread to see who how much everyone has actually been posting

@Kingdom Hearts530 Just wanted to remind you of your promise to keep checking the thread. You currently have posted 5 times, which while is the minimum, it still isn't very much. Especially considering that some of them were explaining why you hadn't been there and one was "Ah right. I understand then." You need to keep your promise and start posting more or you'll be lynched.

@Krowley You have only posted 4 times in this thread and two of them were responding to Makaze (one was just a gif), I know people agreed to give you the benefit of the doubt due to you being helpful in previous games but this really isn't good enough.

@burnitup You've posted 7 times but three of them were the irrelevant chat at the start of the game and all of them are less than a line long. You've not really contributed at all to town so far.

@Mish 8 posts so far, 2 of which were in the useless chatter part. However these posts have been a bit more useful so I don't think you'd be the best target today at least.

While I'm not sure that Blaine, G-dog and maybe ghost have been that helpful to the town, at least they have been relatively active.

Also I don't know if people saw the first time I posted this but I'm trying to keep track of people's votes. LINK

To be honest tale, I had the exact same thought as you and I still think that the post he made on like the third page did actually seem to imply he thought that 'hanging back' would be a good strategy for mafia. I don't think you're in the wrong here.

QUICK REMINDER before people start bandwagoning, 7 is a hard lynch, we do NOT want that. We don't really want any vote to go above 4 at least until near the end of the last day. A vote count would be helpful to see where we currently stand.

ANYWAY we should probably get back to discussing who should be lynched before we waste all of tonight on this fiasco. Time is ticking down and we should use it the best we can. Soo who are the current candidates for lynching? Who needs to prove themselves?
