Zach walked through the crowd, unnoticed by anybody. He took out a small piece of folded paper out of his pocket, having the address on it. That explains the people.. he thought. Since nobody noticed him he stopped, touched the shark tooth on his necklace, Please tell me I'm making the right choice.. he snatched his hand away, he contined to walk. There were even a few other people right by the door. He walked out of the crowd of people and over to the others. As he walked he observed who he'd be stuck with for who knows how long. The book worm, and, well, that's all that could be identified from appearance. They all looked like regular people mostly, but Zach knew there was always something on the inside. He took out a smooth rock from his pocket and felt it, stuffing it back in as he came up right next to the other people. He scratched the back of his head, "Volunteering, very exciting-" he said sarcastically, "So I'm with you guys..and maybe some other people..ya know..if they come. Name's Zach, what about you guys?" he asked, glancing around.

Carter yawned, Boring. Is it time for lunch yet? he thought with a sigh, checking his watch. It's been exactly 10 seconds since he last checked. One of the professors headed toward the back and slammed down a textbook on his desk, and he heard Peter, who had just sneezed. Poor kid. he thought, taking out the heaphones from his pocket. He plugged them into the tip of his music player, running the cord up his back, the headphones coming up right next to his ears. It was so strange to have those giant ears and such small headphones. He tucked the headphones in his hat, turning the volume up full blast on his music player. Sink into his chair so he's hidden behind Rosie and Presto! The magic has just begun, the magic of music and sleeping through the class.

Zach put the screen of his watch back on, grinning from ear to ear. Everyday at sunset the green light would automatically turn on until sunrise the next morning. He missed the announcements, but who cares, it's always the same stupid school rules. One of the chalk men put the book on his desk and simply walked away. Zach opened it up, jumping to random pages, Boring, boring, ohh interesting..wait..never mind. he thought as he turned to pages, sighing. He closed the book and smelled it, not surprising, it had the peculiar scent of dusty closets and chalk.
