Now that is what I want. Not stickers. I would love the art collection in hard cover for BBS. What garbage. =/
I really think this is kinda lame. Japan gets a unique PSP just for the game, France gets limited edition packaging with who knows what inside, and NA gets... stickers...? Talk about the short end of the stick. I have my PSP in a case to protect it from damage, so the sticker design would only be partially visible to me anyways. But to each their own, I guess.
Now here's a crazy thought. How about a special edition or limited edition packaging for NA? I'd buy it.
I must say, I am loving the way the battle system is looking. It looks fast paced and the abilities look like they will make it fun. And the cutscenes look intriguing in style. Side scrolling and turned based RPG elements are sure to make this an interesting experience. The graphics are far superior than I believed they would be as well. All in all, this is looking to be a good experience. My one issue is the how close in proximity it is being released to BBS. I want time to enjoy that to it's fullest before another KH game hits the market. Due to the long gap that normally comes between KH titles, I have never been confronted with this issue. Is there such a s thing as too much KH all at once? I hope they at least wait till holiday season 2010 to release it stateside.
I have mine pre-ordered/paid off and I can't wait. I am glad it is on the PSP, because between college and work, I can carry my PSP with me, as opposed to being limited to the home consoles. Now I know what I will do with those hour long breaks between classes in the library. Can't wait. =D
Going up to the mall tomorrow. I may just get that bracelet. Cooler than any silly bands could ever hope to be. ;] Edit: Bracelet obtained. =]
Looks really good. I love how fast paced it appears. It is sure to be a blast. =]
Pegi. Now that my tourettes is done, I must say that I am pumped, and pre-ordered this yesterday. Better late than never. =]
What a charming story! So fun to read! <3
I am just worried about them having a lack of material to make a sufficient and engaging story for new games. I don't wanna play the same stuff over and over. I don't think anybody does. I hope they open up some new possibilities for side stories in BBS and Re:Coded. Because, thinking back, if I played through the first KH now, I don't think there would be any element of mystery left. I would know the answers to all the things left unanswered after the credits. I love this series to death, but perhaps it is time for the finale. Before it dries up.
I was content with BBS, and even Re: Coded, as the latter was a game that already existed. And I have decided to give the 3DS game a chance, despite a few hesitations. But to hear that there is yet another game before KH III makes me begin to wonder. I don't want the current series to end, but how much more side stuff could there really be to offer? BBS, Coded, Days, KH 3D, and yet another title that has not even been mentioned. What else is there to explain via side stories, you know? I love the KH game series more than any other. And to see it end would likely cause me sadness. But I don't want the future games to become staple and diluted. Perhaps after KH III, the series can continue, but at a different date, time, and place with different protagonists and antagonists? But Nomura has done an outstanding job with the current series thus far. I will save my judgments for games yet to come till I get a chance to play them. I won't go off flaming and hating on something that I have yet to give a chance. After all, I have yet to hate one of his works. So that to me is a beacon of promise. There are games I prefer over others, but nothing I outright dislike or hate. So I am curious and open to what the future brings. Thanks for reading. :D As for playing Riku, I don't feel like it really matter to me. I played as Riku plenty in CoM. So I don't feel it's anything new. But I do remeber reading about some game fans had personally dubbed "Another Dive" or something similar that was supposed to feature Riku and the main character. Perhaps that is what this 3D game is? As for announcing it overseas, I have no idea what his motives are behind that. Maybe it will be a unique title for the western regions. I look forward to learning the answer to that from Nomura himself. And sorry for the long post. >>;
Sounds promising. This new game will be a good way to test what the new 3DS can really achieve in terms of graphical and hardware power. At first I was not sure about this, but I will give it a chance before I dismiss it. =]
Looks nice. Looks like Nintendo has found yet another way to coerce me into buying another one of their systems. F***.
@Vanitas Do you have any actual citation, aside from the screen shots?
I am gonna be checking back every day during E3! I am so pumped! Post anything learned as soon as the info is available! =D
Fantastic! Yet another opportunity for me to use my DSi XL. Keep us updated~
Got it all sorted out guys. When I first tried to download the file a few days ago, there was no PTF and just a bunch of photos. Perhaps it was because the NA site had been updated too recently or something. But this morning when I decided to double check, the PTF was right there. On top of that, I had recently purchased a 4GB memory card for my PSP, but it had none of the proper folders in it to store theme files. So I had to create them. Thanks!
Title says it all. If you go to the NA website for Birth By sleep located here, http://na.square-enix.com/khbbs/ and then select "Media" from the browsing bar across the top of the page, you will see a seemingly downloadable PSP theme that you have a small preview picture of. I click on it to download it. It is a zipped folder, so I unzip it, and all that seems to be inside is lots of pics of Ventus and a few other characters. What is the deal? Where is the theme? Is there even one there? Just wanna know how to get it onto my PSP if there is. I have even tried saving all the pics to my PSP memory card in my "THEME" folder and it does nothing. Help? Thanks!
I personally don't mind the spin off games. I hear a lot of talk about how too many spin offs cause people to lose interest and make the series dwindle/die, but with KH there is nothing I can see that points to that. I mean, it is the fact that the series is thriving that allows them to make so many spin offs and such. Those keep bringing in the cash, so their response? They make more. Not to mention the merchandise, toys, and other side items are being made and sold all the time. I personally value the side stories, as they not only better explain hidden and side elements to the series that are not fully explained, but I value the series enough that I don't really want KH III yet. I don't want the series, or at least this part of it, to end just yet. So, I am going to pre-order my copy of BBS, and when I can, Re: Coded, and enjoy two games that I believe will be promising and fun additions to the series. Lastly, if you are that opposed to it, don't play it. Peace.
I ordered Ventus's for myself, and my girlfriend is getting Aqua's. I am excited to attach it to my PSP. =]
