This extends to everyone. If you've got a custom form (that's tested and working) you want on the first post, you can send it to me via private message. You'll be credited for it. If you didn't make it, please credit whoever did.
I definitely think Stitch is the best one. The linework is nice and loose, which the other ones are kind of lacking. It's something that I struggled with for several years. Where you press really hard with the pencil, as if that's the only chance you get to make the line. It seems counterintuitive, but when you press hard for a crisp, precise line, it usually ends up being a squiggly mess that's hard to erase. Most things have complex edges which is hard to get right in one try, so a series of soft, small strokes is usually the way to go. You can always darken it later, and even then don't feel pressured to get it in a single stroke. When you see pictures that are traced, even if the shapes are accurate, a lot of the time it will still look static and weird, because the artist tried too hard to get the lines exactly right, instead of getting the essence of the subject. When you treat every line as if it has equal importance, it could look end up looking lifeless. The dragon's proportions look pretty good, but the details get a little muddy. Clean up the lines on the metallic parts, and try to keep them as simple as possible. Organic shapes it's a little easier to get away with stuff, but this kind of detail work is tricky and needs to be on point to sell it. Adding some shading to the metal can help you define the individual pieces, by creating shadows between where they overlap. It's easy to get lost when you have dozens of parts in a small area, so that will help ground you. It's good work. The forms are there, but the lines need a little more attention. As an example, note how much darker the line going across Simba's paw is to the lines defining his head. Those should probably be reversed. And they get a bit messy in places. I've grown fond of using mechanical pencils for sketching, so you don't have to worry about a dull edge ruining your drawing.
You're too kind, sir.
Thanks, dude.
What? April Fool's? I don't get it. What's different?
love ya too man
Got nothing on this game, sorry.
Haha, yes it does. Did that last month. Final Xemnas took a while.
Keeping busy with work and other stuff. How about you
No, I don't respond well to having things thrown at me :P You don't keep track of your own codes?
I doubt this is the case, but if you're playing the Japanese version of 2.5, and hacked the game so it was in English, then it would have skipped the opening (along with a few other) cutscenes. Otherwise it's either a glitch, you skipped it without thinking, or you forgot.
I think the requirements for Standard mode are to complete the Journal 100%. I don't know if you can mix difficulties, though you probably can. If so, I'd say you only have to 100% Ven's story, and then just complete Terra and Aqua's on Critical with all Xehanort Reports. That said, if I'm wrong, you will have completed Ven's journal for nothing. It's up to you whether you want to try that, or just replay Ven's story on Critical.
Yeah...As much as I didn't want it to be true, I knew this was coming after hearing he was hospitalized. For at least a year now his health has been pretty bad. A sad day for many fans of multiple franchises. Rest in peace.
I'd agree that Terra, Vanitas, and dark (or replica) Riku are all but confirmed, considering their appearance/mention in DDD. Assuming all those are right, that leaves 3 current unknowns and 1 that still hasn't been chosen. I'd say it's possible for a couple of the more loyal organization members to return, like Xaldin or maybe even Zexion. The less reliable or traitorous ones could return if they've been brainwashed. But I don't think either of those are likely, especially the latter. No Heart is assumed to be Xehanort, though it's not clear in exactly what form. It could just be disembodied armor, which would make fitting into the tiny cloak problematic. But if you're theorizing a tougher Keyblade-Wielding Xehanort, No Heart would fit the bill. Even if it's not an actual member, but a minion of some kind. I've heard people theorize that the five fortellers from X [Chi] will be among the remaining unconfirmed members, but that's pretty unlikely. For that to work, only one of the three theorized characters you mentioned could be one of them, since right now there are only 12 members and I can't imagine he would get only 4 of the 5 initially. It also doesn't make sense that they would be aligned with him, and it may be impossible for him to travel that far back anyway. If I had to guess, the final member will probably be a new character that turns (willingly or otherwise) against the protagonists sometime during the game. And as a side note, I hope they do something with Julius in Kingdom Hearts III. Having it as just a random battle in DDD would be disappointing, and there's a lot they could do with it, considering Julius' whole bit involves brain (or heart, *wink* *wink*) transferring.
Personally I really enjoy Chain of Memories for what it is, but I wouldn't want them to repeat the gameplay in another installment. It's surprisingly deep, and fun once you get used to it, but it is kind of a relief when you move on to another game and don't have to worry about cards. If you know everything that happens in the games, it doesn't really matter which order you play them in. If it's all new to you, I wouldn't recommend going to BBS next. It's not that it spoils anything, but some of the reveals/certain scenes will have much more impact if you played the others first. CoM is a good starting place for you. Then you can continue in release order (Days, BBS, ReCoded). That's the safest bet. Though personally I think going in order of ReCoded -> Days -> BBS is kind of interesting. The way ReCoded ends kind of gives reason for the story to go back to the past and branch out naturally, rather than them being there just to fill in the gaps. If you were to do that, I WOULD say hold off on watching the ReCoded secret ending until you finish everything else, but you already played DDD, so that little spoiler doesn't really matter.
You need to let go of the L1 button in order to do the triangle commands. Just a couple days ago my friend was trying 2.5 out for the first time, and he did this too, haha.
I can enjoy any difficulty, but I like to do the hardest difficulty at least once. I really like the way Critical Mode rebalances the game so you're more powerful and have more options (mainly finishing plus from the start), but the game gets progressively harder due to you not gaining as much HP as you level. It's not WAY harder than Proud Mode, mostly just different, but gives an extra challenge. Right now I'm doing a KH2FM level 1 Critical Mode run, and boy is that ridiculously tough. Just about anything can kill you in 1 or 2 hits, so it forces you to think about battles way differently. Battles that used to be trivial before are now often the hardest ones, and boss battles become a race to kill them before you run out of resources. And it basically forces you to learn every enemy and bosses attack patterns, how to react, and in some cases exploit that. Game mechanics that you might have totally ignored before become your life savers. I went from never using summons, (aside from to level them up) to understanding how valuable they are. Healing is gone from my shortcut menu so I have more offensive options, and I now use potions almost exclusively so I can save my MP for magic and limits. Currently doing Port Royal Second Visit, and probably died about ten times on just that final Grim Reaper fight. Having to collect tiny gold coins at the feet of a monster that can one-shot you is pretty scary.
No big deal. I like to help when I can.
I should note they have videos on Machinima, but their main channel with full LPs is called TheSw1tcher. Obviously check out any games that might appeal to you, but the fan favorites are Silent Hill Downpour, Heavy Rain, and Deadly Premonition, on sheer entertainment value. If you like watching people suffer through bad games, I'd recommend FInal Fight Streetwise, Man Vs. Wild, or Prison Break. For a slightly more serious and intellectual tone, with super messed-up subject matter, go for I Have No Mouth And I Must Scream, Rule of Rose, or Silent Hill 2. And in case it wasn't clear, there's vile language throughout.
I've got a lot going on right now, and I just forgot. Sounds like different battle cries have priority. Obviously you want the damaging ones to...
