If you wanna get an ibanez, (which i do recomend by the way) definately get a better one then mine. Cause chances are if you want an ibanez you wanna shred, and mine isnt the best shredders guitar. A higher end Ibanez or a Jackson would be good. Or you could get a Strat.... which is basically completely different.

    Thats a pretty picture

    CHILDREN OF BODOM - DOWNFALL

The night of timeless fire is drawing near
I flee... Throughout the years of throe
Watching through a mirror, as I fall apart
    I see a wreck, I'm burning

I see angels burning, falling down in ruins
Looking down I see me, I'm my own enemy

Watching myself decaying, falling from high spirits
I flee... Throughout the ruins of me
Longing for finding my way out
Leaving myself, there's nothing left for me
The ruins are about to crumble down.

The flame is dying by shivery winds of jet black skies
It reflects hatred in my eyes

I see angels burning, falling down in ruins
Looking down I see my ashes scattered around my grave

Angels whispering fire, no longer I'm alive
Settled down I'm done with the trip to my kingdom come

First off i would like to say that this thread was a really nice idea.

The one good thing about private school is the adults tend to be more understanding. Whereas public school, they couldnt give a rats *** half of the time. I guess what i would suggest is just talking to someone. Honestly, talking to someone and knowing you have someone there for you can be the greatest feeling sometimes.

Yes the 70s would be better, but 80s probably has better guitar players, and certainly many more underated ones (Reb Beach and Warren DeMartini come to mind)

I actually like the setlist it seems fairly good, albeit pretty easy,

seriously "only a lad" by oingo boingo in the final section thats kinda a joke

but winger, ratt, scorpions, dio, quiet riot, it should be fun

Haha yeah, I did find Wind Waker to be actually kinda funny. Mainly the pirates, they made me laugh a couple of times. I'd have to say it was a bit more childish but it was a welcome change at the time. But i still like the more hard edged hack and slash better. And some of the puzzles are tough too.

Haha Carry On My Wayward Son is one of me and my friends favorites.
Whenver someone plays it (which is basically every other song) we all sing along.
It is just so nice to sing
"CARRY ON MY WAYWARD SONNNNN, THER'LL BE PEACE WHEN YOU ARE DONE. LAY YOUR WEARY HEAD TO RESTT. DONT YOU CRY NO MORE. "

and im just curious what do you guys think of the 80s setlist?

Definately amazing, the first video game i ever bought and really got into was Ocarina of Time. It still is great today. I was really happy with Twilight Princess, definately a big step up from Wind Waker. Although Wind Waker wasnt a bad game. Haha just an incredible series.

It has to be Zeppelin, GREATEST BAND EVER.
Their music was also so diverse, the acoustics to the heavy rockers.
Every band since them owes something to Zeppelin. THE GREATEST.

ok loads of people have been giving this album crap (not here but elsewhere)
honestly its a very good album
maybe not as good as hatebreeder or something wild but
as good as almost anything nowadays
    especially emo ewww emo
ok im gonna rate each song on it, let me know what you think

Living Dead Beat - Good song. A lot like the older stuff Latvala and Laiho work together well on this one. A tad boring for me though. 8/10

Are You Dead Yet - Laiho sounds great on this one, i can understand what hes saying. His guitars go along nicely. Very catchy. It gets annoying since its the only COB song anyone knows but w.e. still good 9/10

If You Want Peace... Prepare For War - Excellent track. Jaska's drums sound really good here, pounding, and in pace to Alexi and Roopes guitars. Roope isnt very prominent, but he is the back up guitar player. 10/10

Punch Me, I Bleed - The solo is incredible. This is in my opinion one of Alexi's top three solos of all time including Hatebreeder and the Singergy stuff. Really good. Solo alone gives it a ten. Riff is really boring and slow. But the solo is beast. 10/10

In Your Face - Best all together song on the album. Great solos from Janne and Alexi. Riff is slow but very good. Catchy 10/10

Next In Line - Very nice riff. The drums mold well together with the riff. Good song but isnt as good as the rest of the album. 7/10

Bastards of Bodom - Weakest track. Seems a bit rushed and hasty. 5/10

Trashed, Lost and Strungout - Great intro. Great solo. Great song for Alexi. Not so much for everyone else, cept maybe Janne. 9/10

We're Not Gonna Fall - Chorus is really good and catchy. Makes you want to go and do something, not sure what but the feeling is there. Solo is once again really good. 8/10

Somebody Put Something In My Drink - As good as the Ramones version. Alexi's solo is hmmm let me think AMAZING. Comes together as a great song. Good way to end the album. Cant get a perfect because it is a cover after all. 9/10

So adding that up is 85/100 or for those who cant divide 8.5/10 so a very solid album i recomend it. Oh yeah. STOP HATING ON IT.
