I agree. In CoM, we see his darker side. Hey, at least they kept Quinton Flynn. Could you imagine the insanity that would ensue if Square had no choice but to find another voice actor? Personally, I don't have a problem with any of the voice actors. Even Sora's is okay (when I close my eyes...haha)
Can't narrow it down to just one: 1000 Heartless battle/Cloud and Leon bantering Fighting as Riku in the final battle When I got to remove Xaldin's miserable and ugly existence from the world (although, I did like his lances)
(Final fantasy characters aside) Considering how many times Riku whooped my ass in the first KH, I'd say Riku (when he joined the party in KH2 I was like "SWEEEET") and then maybe Saix and Axel.

You probably don't get it because you haven't read the books. My opinion is that the main audience -who is mostly made up of teen girls/young adult women - can identify with the protagonist and are equally infatuated with her love interest (in addition to sympathizing with her struggles, etc). Although I've read better written prose, the story is very addicting.

Fanfics can be good stories :D Thing is, its a good story, which is why I really like it. It reads like a vampire fanfic though. It's like a guilty pleasure. As a casual fan, I love the series. (To clarify, my user name refers to Riku, not the Twilight books)
