I was actually expecting Riku to die at the end of KH2 when he was hurt. I was like NOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! - It was going to be a final fantasy game all over again.

Hahahaha...sorry to get your hopes up!

Oh man I wish. That would be hilarious.

You know what though? Of all the characters, it would make the most sense for him to die, as much as I'd hate to admit it.
It happens to characters like him in movies all the time. Right after they learn their lesson, they die. So terribly tragic.

    So I've heard too...
However, rest assured if it happens to be centered around the trio and they kill my beloved Riku, Nomura will be receiving some daily life threatening, terrorizing hate mail - all from me.

    My Art

I never said contemporary art ultimately wasn't "art" - I just expressed my opinion of what I think art should constitute as vs. the social standards (which in my opinion, are as low as they can get)
JackS27, you bring up some interesting points however, and I respect your opinion :)

    How are you?

    "Hey, how are you?"

This is the typical greeting convention. You pass by someone on the street you recognize and say “Hey man! It’s been awhile! How’ve ya been?†soon followed by the instinctive response “I’m great, how about you?†– However, do we really mean what we say so automatically? While this common courteous greeting has obvious good intentions, think about this: Would you be caught off guard if the response to your “How’ve ya been?†question was “Well, I’m actually going through a lot right nowâ€, and then the person proceeded to tell you how their life has sucked over the past few days/weeks? I know I would be, especially if I’m on my way somewhere and don’t really have time for a nice lengthy chat over some coffee.

Thing is, in a quick passing encounter like that, everyone knows such a response would be irrational, so we are prompted to say “good/great/alright†– whether its a lie or not – so that the greeter can proceed to their destination while having politely acknowledged you.
It’s funny how we go along with these conventions without thinking about them at all.

Meh...just something to think about :p - and yes I'm bored.

Just like the word “pickles†– ever think about how hilarious that word sounds? Who invented that word? Say it out loud to yourself – too funny.

My friends drag me into horror movies now and then, but I dread them!

It seems the whole horror genre has changed...its not really scary or mentally disturbing anymore like "The Exorcist", but its "lets see how realistic we can make this gore look, and think up as many disgusting ways possible to kill people."However, there are a few randoms like recent "Amityville Horror" remake I didn't mind - a psychological thriller - it helped that the lead guy had killer abs :p
Bottom line: I cringe at gore, so I guess the worst horror as it is today that I've seen is:

Saw II, Silent Hill, and Texas Chain Saw Massacre - ewwwwwy!

I have to agree with twilightstown. As a Riku lover, I am somewhat offended at such a blantant one dimensional view of this complicated character.

Here's how I see it: In KH1, Riku always loved being the stronger "older brother" type to Sora, and when he discovered that Sora had new friends and didn't seem to need him anymore, Riku was really jealous - he felt he had to prove how much better and stronger he was than Sora.
The only way he could have become an idiot was if he never realized the stupidity of his own egotism and selfishness. That's what makes him so human - who hasn't regretting things they've done and wished to take them back? We're all idiots then.

Think about it - if the 'universe' had an end, what would be beyond that end? nothingness? It's such a vague question that science will never be able to answer.

I"ll be short and to the point.

I think there are three basic categories:

    phobias - persistant irrational fears
habits - an almost involuntary pattern of behaviour
disorders - where there is a disturbance of normal functioning - something is "missing" or wrong

SoraxKairi - no doubt about it. The whole story is focused on how he cares for her and how she misses him. Roxas and Namine's relationship seems kinda one dimensional (even if they are cute together)

    Oooo good song :)

Ya, I would have asked my roommate if SHE was around, but she has the habit of playing her tunes loudly and then walking out if the room - we take turns though :p
