    So...

    I watched Red vs Blue Season 11 episode 1 a half-hour ago...

It was pretty good. I hope they keep it up, and that's saying something after my hate for last season.

Sorry if this is in wrong area, and kudos for Hatok finding this and posting it in Spam Zone or I wouldn't have found it. There has been a lot of controversy over the Xbox One's requirements, and a lot of anger from people in the armed forces who don't have a good enough Internet connection to be able to meet MS's new standards. In an Interview with Spike tv, he spoke during the "down time" when they had technical difficulties with the microphone about his opinion on the One. It caused such a backlash after it was posted that Spike was asked to remove it, but not before someone else posted the video and the news now has their hands on it:

    http://thecontrolleronline.com/2013...tick-with-360-if-you-dont-like-always-online/

    Original Video:

Anyone who doesn't know who Don Mattrick is, he's the president of the Interactive Entertainment Business branch of Microsoft.

I couldn't believe it when I saw it, I still don't partially believe he said that. I liked 360 but wasn't planning on buying a One because I don't meet the requirements despite me not serving. I do have two friends who serve/are in training to serve in a submarine who haven't replied to me sending the link to them, but it's downright insulting in my opinion and there's no excuse for it.

This is how I pictured it went when they were making the Press conference show:

Sony: How do we beat MS this year in E3?

Employee: We focus on the games and lights and montages? Spending money on what matters instead of trying to stop the competition from beating us? Oh yeah, and make sure everyone knows we're not doing what MS is.

    Sony: You just got promoted.

Wow, I just saw the moment when he said: "It's your game, you can do whatever you want with it." The place is going nuts.

NOTE: I know there's dozens of different spin-offs, so here's the conditions:

    - Mario is the main character. (No Luigi's Mansion)
    - He has to be doing some kind of jumping activities and fighting Koopa. (So no Sports, SSB, Kart and Party)

So what do you prefer? The old games, like Super Mario Brothers 3 which was linear and mostly platforming. Or the new games, with free exploration and collecting items like Super Mario Galaxy.

I'm also looking for ideas for Old vs. New games, it has to be before the 2000's and a series that still is continuing today. I will give you credit for the idea.

I have tried both Super Mario 64 and Super Mario Galaxy, but I never found both of them appealing to finish. Super Mario 64 for me was just long and boring, the tasks got repetitive fast and it felt massively headache inducing to get some of those stars. Galaxy I actually was enjoying, like the Manta Ray race, but they only had it as side games and though I went back to them, the main parts of the game couldn't hold me long enough to play through the whole game.

As for the old games. I actually really enjoy them. Whether it's the simplicity of the levels, or the fact I grew up with these games. I enjoy sitting down at any time and playing them. Super Mario Brothers 3 is still one of my highest favorites of classic games out there.

Since the Xbox One came out, which I have gone into enough tangents now at least for this week, I was thinking about one of the reasons Microsoft is doing this whole thing:

    Piracy.

From what I've picked up, there was a shitload of piracy from the 360 and controllers, etc... So they have made this new system very strict on it's rules because of this. This isn't for just games, I'm talking about movies, cd's, etc... Anything that you can make an illegal copy of and sell and/or give away for free without permission or the patent from the company it was made from.

So we all know it's illegal and most likely every single person has done some piracy around here at least once, but do you think as people who buy the systems/cds/movies legally, do you think we should pay and have a lot of rules and restrictions on how we watch/play/listen because of what happens outside our control?

    Braid

I just sat through a playthrough of it and I have to say:

It is probably the most fascinating game I've seen in ages. Even better than Heavy Rain. The ending is a flat-out shocker, and the music and drawings for it along with the story is fantastic. It's a puzzle game where you take pieces of puzzles and make them. The whole goal is to rescue the princess that you want to rescue. You leave everything to do it.

I won't tell you the ending, but the symbolism and meaning to the ending is heavy and it's an amazing game. I highly recommend it.

    Anyone else play it?

I got into a heated debate about this with my mom and have heard this bouncing around a lot in the last years. Do you think video games are Art or Entertainment? Why?

I think they're art that is entertainment. Anything someone makes that's their own is art, but you are still entertained by the game, you can still sit down and enjoy the beauty of a game while playing and interacting with it. Heavy Rain and Shadow of the Colossus are two games I can never play simply because of it being so much art, it'd be hard for me to play through because of how hard the decisions made in it are.

Note: Sorry if this is in the wrong section.

Since the last one seemed popular, which do you guys prefer, the old Final Fantasy games or the new ones? And when would you say you stopped losing interest if old. Or is it both?

I would have to say old, the storylines seemed spectacular and grand. World exploration was an adventure just waiting for you and the leveling system was extremely simple. I would say I officially lost interest in XII, but now I can't play through after VII, so it's a toss up.

Alright, in my state there's a huge trend amongst bike riders and drivers called "Share the Road".

Basically it means that bikers respect the space and avoid crowding the drivers while following general traffic laws like stopping at red lights, not taking up the whole street, and stopping on the side of the road if there's cars behind them. Cars at the same time are supposed to slow down and keep a respectful distance away from the bikes.

There's also been hundreds of bike trails and adjustments made to the roads such as a wider and longer side of the road for the bikes.

The problem is, I often see a lot more bikers disrespecting the rules and the cars than following the rules. They say share the road and have bumper stickers. But they're downright rude to the drivers, one was calling out insults to my mom when we were driving ahead of them and too slowly. They were also taking up a whole half of the road and ignoring the drivers behind them. They then cut across a intersection without looking while the cars for their side was stopped.

I've seen this happen again and again with bikers. I have seen some bikers who respect the drivers and keep to the side of the road and/or pull aside and let cars pass when they're blocking the way, but more often then not I see bikers causing dangerous even deadly near-accidents with their actions.

So I'm curious: Do you think Share the Road is good or bad?

Oh yeah, bikers in this case=bike riders. Though motorcycles are allowed too. I meant bike riders in my earlier comments.

Alright, I was born with Asbergers, this has always affected my hearing and sensitivity to loud noises, despite me being deaf when born.

It got a lot worse when I was a little kid a firework went off in front of me. I have been terrified of fireworks ever since. Though I have started using an Ipod to block out the sound. I still can't watch fireworks without them and the volume loud, accidentally several fireworks went off after a fireworks display and I had already turned off my Ipod and I freaked out at the last fireworks display.

The biggest problem is, that it REALLY affects my life. I'm scared of sirens, motorcycles and balloons. I can't be around balloons at all without getting very nervous, especially if it's little kids holding them. My mom dragged me to a play last year and they were giving out balloons as props to all the little kids. I was surrounded by them and barely made it through the play despite me begging my mom to bring me home because of how badly I was getting, I jumped at every small thing and the balloons popped all around me when I came home a pretty bad wreck. The problem is also there's a ton of festivals that go around in my town and all of them usually have balloons.

The sirens and motorcycles affect the way that I walk and get out of the car. If a motorcycle revs it's engine without the muffler which thankfully has become illegal in my state, I freak out. A few years ago a siren went off next to me without warning and I've been jumpy around them ever since. I want to seriously break this problem and/or get my mom to understand why it terrifies me so much. She seems to take it as a joke and/or not seriously and blows it off as: "You always blow things out of proportion." when I try to explain it to her. Or in the play's scenario, thinks of it as an excuse for me to get out of it because I hate going to the plays.

    Any ideas?

I found this video on Youtube recently, it's not graphic. But it angered me anyway and a lot of people defended it. I was curious to see what people thought:

I would have to personally say, it was abuse. I looked at the kittens body language and it was obviously terrified and huddled. Yes, the dog thought it was a game, but the kittens back was arched and tail stiff. The owners deliberately poked it so they obviously weren't allowing it to run when it thinks there's a threat in front of it which leads to fight instinct in animals. Even tame ones.

I have seen this happen before where I went to my godmothers relatives house and they had a cat. The cat loved people, it was rolling around on the floor, playful and very sweet. When the owners came home, he turned into a terrified, cornered animal. They teased it and at one point surrounded it and cornered it to the point where it fled into the basement. They thought it was a game and thought it was hilarious while I watched sickened. The cat years later at my godmothers house who spoils her cats rotten was still terrified of guests and hid under the bed whenever they came over.

So what do you think, is it abuse or play what's going on?

EDIT: Sorry about the screencap, it's not my choice on what it comes out as. ><

I tried it on Gaia and the reception was.......... Not welcoming.

I do note: I can type as much as I can type. No more, no less. I can't type up three paragraphs per post. I do have ideas and I would like to start something with someone based off Linkara. So if anyone's interested, send me a message. Thank you. =3 I was thinking a one-on-one or something. I'm also willing to post a sample.

I'm finally changing my signature and am not really good at selecting artists for this type of stuff.

I was looking for a black coated/blue flamed Rapidash with a blue fire blast, and a Miltoic with regular colors doing maybe Blizzard. Sara somewhere subtly on it would be nice too. Thank you in advanced. I looked for pictures of a rapidash, but none were not watermarked and/or drawings.
