"Gunshot?" Edward snapped, sitting up himself. "You rest, stay here. I'm going to see what's going on." He stood up slowly, his hand on Hannah's shoulder as he steadied himself.
Edward moved in his sleep, shaking his head and touching Hannah's arm. "What's the matter?" he whispered.
Edward snored. YAY FOR 2500!!!! I'M SPECIAL!!!
"Yes," Edward agreed, kissing the top of head and sighing. "I think we'll both feel better once we rest."
"You can rest, then," Edward murmured in her ear, wrapping his arms around her and pulling her close. "And you won't have any nightmares, remember?"
"Liar," Edward said with a small laugh. "Come here," he added, tugging on her hand. "I promise you'll feel better lying down."
"Sleepy?" Edward asked, catching her drifting thoughts. "Want to lay down for a while? That would help."
Edward muttered in his sleep, turning on his side and pulling the blankets from the bed up to his chin. He opened his eyes slowly, and gave Hannah a little smile. "You stayed," he whispered, blinking in the early morning sun that came through the window.
