They are one of my favourite bands, sure there old image was very Emo, but I really like there music. The Black Parade is coming, I love their new song, Welcome to the Black Parade. I also heard, Dead! and House of Wolves from their new album on youtube, they are also great. I really like their new look and sound.
This was the latest KH AMV i'vs made so far, i made it quite a while ago now (another KH one is planned) and this was one of my last work using WMM. This was probably the fastest AMV, i've made so far, and my best KH one. Here is a link: (Sorry for the low quality, for some reason the uploaded version is quite blurry, but the youtube version is worst <_<) http://uk.gamespot.com/pages/profile/video_player.php?id=ISBhkjT85bgEuzQ
I've only played Star Ocean 3, but it is one of my favourite RPG's, I really liked the story it was very gripping, even if the voice acting is a bit skeptical at times. I like the battle system it's simple, but yet there are alot of moves you can do. I makes me want to try out the other 2 games in the series. What do you think about the game?
This is a guide for those who are thinking of making an AMV, but not sure what to do, or to those who have experience but are looking for ways to improve, ok lets start off with: What does AMV mean? It stands for Anime Music Video they are in simple terms putting scenes for a anime to music, but nowdays, people make video not just on Anime but to Games and Movies, but people still call them AMV's, but in some forums they are know was FM's (Fan Movies) How do you make them? Making AMV's are easy to make, but hard to master, to make an simple AMV you just simply import the video clip and drag it into the timeline, but to make a good one you need to time to clips to the music, add effects and much more, but i will talk about that later What program do you use to make them? There are many programs you can use, such as Windows Movie Maker, Adobe Premiere and Vegas Movie Studio. But if you are new to making AMV I recommend using Windows Movie Maker, even though it's not the best, it is easy to use, and once you think you have enough experience you can choice to go and use more advanced video editting software such as Adobe Premiere etc. But you can chose to use Premiere straight away, but it will take time getting used to, but if you have experience with WMM, it's makes the learning process easier Ok, so i know the basics, but how do you make a good AMV? There are many aspects that determine a good AMV, here are the most important aspects Timing This is when you change the scenes of the video clips to the beat of the music, e.g. a drum beat, or the end of the verse etc, most songs have tons of opporunites to change scenes, it's just to find the right time to do so. When reviewing AMV's, timing is one of the main things people look out for, it's almost the backbone of the vid. Flow The way the vid flows is very important, you have to keep a constant pace from start to finish, even if you vid had a great ending, if people find the beginning boring they might not even bother to watch the whole thing, keep the person entertained, they are the viewers. So keep up a good pace from start to finish, don't slack at the end. Music Another important aspect, without it your vid is only half a vid. The scenes have to match to the mood of the song, so calm music goes well with a romatic theme, or metal for an action theme. If you pick the wrong kind of music for the vid, it can ruin the whole thing, even if timing is good and everything, if the music doesn't suit the clips, it ruins it (I know this from experience) So pick the music carefully. Quality Not the most important aspect, but a good quality vid does make the vid seem better (I reccomend a bit rate of 1000kb/sec) and if the quality was too low, then people aren't properly gonna see it cos it's hard to make out what is going on Effects Effects can help make your vid look good, but too many can spoil it, that is the downside to WMM, it has a very limited range of effects. Creativity/Originality This can be very important, and can help make your vid stand out, be original, don't use the same music as everyone else, look at Linkin Park, that has been heavily oveused (go to youtube, you will see what i mean) and can effect your final rating, professional AMV makers 9/10 are going to ignore them. Use a song, that hasn't been used much, so bands that aren't currently in the charts. General Tips - Take your time, don't rush it, the longer you take chances are the better the vid is going to be, so what if you can make an AMV in 3 hours, personally i don't think that is impressive, to me that says "I rushed it and didn't put 100% into it" The best AMV normally take 1-3 months to make, they properly do an 1/2 hour a night and take their time. - Watch the vid constantly, see if the scene you just added fits in well with everything else, look back at the last 20 seconds and watch carefully, and watch it back muliple times to try and stop errors - Practise makes perfect, not everyone's first AMV is going to be perfect but don't make that an excuse, as you make more you will get better, even if you don't realise it, just learn from your mistakes. - Get advice, ask those who have had experience, know what they are talking about - Enter competitions/contests, this can help you improve as a AMV maker, and help you get repuation, and also gives you can chance to compare to fellow AMV makers (some of my best work have been made for contests) So there you go a guide on how to make an AMV, I hope you have found this useful, and happy AMV making ^_^ If there are anymore question people are unsure of, just ask here, and i will answer the question and add it to this post
Oh yes Sammichs, if you want to know the secret to Sammich's, follow the sign saying 'Hello' and then turn left a belt
I think this is the right area.......I hope Well anyway, i personally love the RvB series, it's so funny :D probably the best Machinima on the net. I personal favourite series is 2 and 4, though the first episode of Season 5 was great Season 5 has just started, what did you guys think of it?
Talk about both the Movies and Anime Series. I personally love both, i perfer the anime series though since it's more actiony and i seemed to get more into it. I just like the way the Anime is set up, sure it can be confusing at times, but neither the less it great. What do you think?
Did you perfer the main Story as Sora, or did you perfer Riku's part Reverse/Rebirth I would say i perfered Sora's part, it was more challenging, i founf Riku's side easier, and didn't has as good of a story, though both sides were great.
This is one of my favouite Anime of all time, it's a great Action/Romance Anime. It is based on a Hentai Game (FYI there are no sex scenes in the anime) The fight scenes are excellent, it has a great story, shame it was only 24 episodes long, but they crammed so much in. And the ending is so sad, i won't spoil anything, but i admit it made me cry, i've never cried so much over a program. It is definately a must see, it's great.
I personally can't wait for this game, i've loved all the RPG's that Level 5 have made, and this one is looking to be no different. To find some more information on the game look here http://www.gametrailers.com/gamepage.php?id=2063
What is everyone's opinion on all this fillers, that make up a years worth of episodes (50+) In that time you can do a whole series of an anime <_< I can easily understand why they did it so they don't overtake the manga, and end up making up the story, or end up doing and DBZ effect, where they drag out the fights for a century. Though some of the fillers are quite amusing, i've just personally got bored of them.
Hi i'm darkandroid, i've been here for a little while now, i just wasn't very active, but now i hope to change that now. I'm 17 and live in the UK. I'm a big anime fan at the moment, and games fan, and of course Kingdom Hearts. In my spare time I like to make videos, mainly AMV's, i've been making videos for over a year now, and i say i've gotten pretty good (not trying to brag..........seriously) I've made alot of AMV's using KH. I also make KH parodies (one of the many thousands) but i can say I was one of the first. I make the True Dialogue series. And i'm also the creator the popular video 'KH2 Mickey Take' it's currently the most popular KH parody video on youtube with almost 80,000 views. Well thats enough about videos, and shameless advertising :P And oh yeah *throws cookies to everyone*
Love the sub Hate the dub One Piece i personally think is a great anime, has a great blend of action and comedy. Sure the drawing style takes more time getting used to then other anime, but that doesn't take away from it's charm. I can't see how 4kids could screw it up so badly. So what do you think about the original Anime, or the american dubbed or even the Manga (one of the best sellings manga in Japan)
This is a thread for those who want to annoance a music video, parody or Fanfic they are currently making, you may just simple say the name of it and say what is it about etc, you may even have a short preview of the work so far, or maybe you have a poster made for it. Here is an example of an AMV i'm currently making - ---------------------------------- It's a One Piece AMV, and the music is 'Welcome to the Black Parade by My Chemical Romance' Release date - Late October --------------------------------- So come on, show people what you are making, and let them get hyped up about it
This is my lastest AMV so far, it's from FFVII: Last Order, it took me quite a while to make, and i use effects which have rarely been seen here at KH-vids. The song is Prayer by Disturbed And the software i used was Sony Vegas 6.0 (And no it is not free) Here is a Link - http://www.gametrailers.com/umwatcher.php?id=10387
