"May I come in?" he asked her, at which point she let him walk in, closing the door behind him. "Sorry for the intrusion. My name is Leo." Leo had placed his fingers on the black pendant that he was wearing. She had no idea what he wanted, though there was an odd familiarity about him. It was jarring, to say the least. However, she noticed that the compass she had placed on the table was going crazy. It seemed to be reacting to Leo. Could it be?

"It's good to see you again, Azazel." He told her. "I suppose you prefer Joslyn. Is Hana around? She has something of mine." Her eyes widened in shock. Not only did he know about her, he knew which angel she was. On top of that, he seemed to know who Hana was.

"I... I don't know who you are... b-but she isn't here... Sh-she got k-kidnapped along with t-two others that were w-w-with us..." Joslyn tried to look him in the eyes, but she couldn't bring herself to do it. She just kept her gaze on the floor as she spoke. "Wh-who are you anyways?"

Suddenly, there was a knock on her door. "Open up. I need to tell you somethin'." It was Sam, but what would he need to talk about?

She went and opened the door. "Wh-what do you want, Sam?"

"I need to tell you tha-" His gaze fell upon Leo. "Who the hell's this asshole?"

Sam woke up and groaned as he did. He definitely got a good nights rest, his shoulder wasn't even bothering him that much now. The dip in the jacuzzi definitely helped with that. He stood up and started to stretch out his body. His shoulder was definitely recovering nicely. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. When he opened it, he was greeted by a guy with a cart.

    "Hello, sir. Room service."

"Oh, well come on in, then." The man swiftly placed a tray on a table and promptly left. When Sam went over to the tray, he looked at the food and quickly began to eat. It was so good.

After washing down that sandwich with black coffee, he moved his shoulder around again to make sure it wasn't hurting too much. Now on to what he should do. It would definitely be a good idea to tell everyone where Red was. Maybe that would be a good start to the day. He grabbed his key and went off to another room.

He stood in front of a different room now. Though he wasn't sure who was in the room, he was sure that it was one of the group. Sam simply knocked and spoke, "Open up. I need to tell you somethin'." When the door opened, he saw it was the pale girl. Well, she should be delighted to hear this news.

    "Wh-what do you want, Sam?"

"I need to tell you tha-" Before he finished talking, he noticed the stranger in her room. What the hell, what was she doing? "Who the hell's this asshole?"

    DAY: 26 - 1/4 | DATE: October 17th, 2013 [Thursday] | LOCATION: Luxurious Hotel in Stevanger, Norway

Joslyn awoke with a yawn. She stretched her arms out as she sat herself up. The bed was so comfortable she almost didn't want to get out of it. However, she got up anyways and grabbed her room key.

    "Weeeeeeelllllll~, you certainly slept like a log, didn't yooooooooouuuuuuuuu~?"

"Good morning to you too~." She went for the door, and just as she opened it, she was greeted by a gentleman with a cart.

"Ah, good morning, miss." The man said with a thick, Norwegian accent. "Room service."

    "Oh... b-b-but I didn't o-order anything."

"Gentleman who made reservation said to bring breakfast for all." That was very generous of him.

"Oh, we-well, thank y-you..." The man came in and placed a tray on a table and promptly left. On the tray, there was a plate with some kind of open face sandwich and coffee. It looked delicious. She sat down at the table and after mixing in some milk and sugar into the coffee, Joslyn began to eat.

After finishing the breakfast she received, she started to watch TV for a little bit, absentmindedly flipping through the channels. Suddenly, there was a knock at the door. Is it more Room Service? She went to the door and opened. At the door was a man wearing shades who stood taller than her. "Uuummm... Ca-can I... Can I h-help you?"

After everything that happened, and his little name calling, not much happened. She didn't say much beyond knowing where the three girls were and left blowing a kiss. As if anyone would want to be kissed by that. However, she did mention something about human trafficking, and how Red has never been touched. That must've meant that she was involved in some kind of prostitution ring. He had no idea where, but he was sure that was what she meant. The idea of that pissed him off. Sam was seriously tempted to set something on fire or break something.

There was another matter that they had to deal with: The fact that Bandages referred to Moneybags as her pet. While he wasn't one to talk, it would be a big problem if he decided to betray them. Still, they could use him for now and deal with it when the time comes. With enough training, he was sure that he could take him down if need be. So for now, they would have him come along with them. They should try to enjoy all of this money while they could.

They landed in Norway safe and sound and got off of the plane. After a bit of walking, they came to a limousine. Oh man. This looks so nice... So expensive... Having Moneybags around was definitely going to be fun. All of this money, all of this luxury. It would be nice to enjoy it while they could. Of course, it would be nice to have Red and the others back as soon as possible. However, since it would take them some time to figure out where they were and gather up more angels, why not enjoy the down time in between?

Moneybags said something about the guy they came to visit, Heinrik or something or other, that he hates the bandaged girl. Or something along those lines, Sam wasn't exactly paying attention to what was being said. He was too distracted by the limo to hear anything. I am tempted to steal an ashtray or something like that.

Afterwards, they drove to an extremely expensive looking hotel. Moneybags went in and reserved a separate room for each person, because he's ballin' like that. After everything checked out, he handed everyone the keys to their rooms and headed inside. Sam had never been able to sleep in these kinds of places. He was a little excited to see what his room looked like.

He got into his room and looked around in awe. Holy shit, man... This is just... There was a king sized bed, with a large plasma screen TV across from it. The bathroom was large and had a large sink, a shower, a toilet with a seat warmer, and a jacuzzi. Thank you, Moneybags... Thank you so much."

During the drive, he took a peek in Red's bag that the French kid had brought. He rifled through it and found a phone. Must be hers, then... He decided to take it with him for... reasons. When he got in the room, he pulled it out of his pocket and looked at it. Suddenly, it started to ring, the Caller ID showed it as a Long Distance Number. He decided to answer.

    "Hello..?"

    "Red!?"

    "Sam? Oh thank God!"

"What the hell, where are you?"

"We're in a hospital in Rome right now. Hay Sun was shot."

"What the- How the fuck did that happen!?"

"She started a brothel on fire..."

"I see... So that bandaged up bitch really was telling the truth..."

"What do you mean bandaged up bi-- were you in contact with Temeluchas?"

"Yeah... unfortunately. She suddenly showed up while we were in a private plane to Norway."

"What? Why are you in Norway?"

"Well, we met an angel while you were gone. He said he knew of another one in Norway and offered us a ride on his plane. Problem is that Bandages claims that angel we met is her pet."

"That sounds really sketchy Samuel. Please be careful and don't do anything too stupid."

"Don't worry. Worse comes to worse I'll just kick his ass into submission. But anyways, what happened to you?"

"We were abducted. Oh... Shoot, hold on. ... ... ... Okay. Sorry. I was down to my last minutes. Payphones. Anyway, yeah. Abducted. And ... well, you know. Whorehouse stuff..."

"Did... did they... err... do anything to you?"

"That sounds like concern. Are you growing a heart? Not anything to traumatic I guess. I mean, as not traumatic as being stripped, chained, painted, and put on display can be..."

"Sh-shut up. But... Well... At least you're not there anymore. The fact that happened to you... pisses me off..."

"How sweet. I should probably get going. We're waiting to hear about Hay Sun. Fortunately it wasn't anywhere vital, but we did have to walk a long ways. Sam ..."

"Yeah, yeah, yeah. You go. We'll come to get you guys as soon as we meet up with this guy."

"... All right. Don't break too many things. Good night."

"Shut up! Good night, Red." Sam hung up the phone and chucked it onto the bed. Rome, huh?

Before heading off to bed, he enjoyed a soak in the jacuzzi. The heat was soothing and the bubbles felt wonderful hitting his skin. It made him completely forget that he had been stabbed in the shoulder or that he seared the wound shut. He just felt completely relaxed, like nothing bad had happened at all in the past few days. After he was finished with his soak, he dried off and put on the only clothes he had with him. Sam plopped onto the bed with a towel on his head. He turned on the TV and just sat there, enjoying all of this stuff. With the lights off and the TV still on, he slowly drifted off to sleep.

Joslyn was so relieved that person was finally gone. She disappeared as she blew a kiss. It was absolutely horrible, the rush of fear going through her entire body. Well, at least she was gone and they weren't in as much danger now. Though she was worried that Alistair might be on their side. If that was true, it was very possible that he would betray them. She had really hoped this wouldn't be the case.

They landed in Norway safe and sound. The whole group got out and began to walk. After a few minutes of walking, they eventually came up to a limousine.

"Ooooooooooooh~ I've never been in one of these beeeeefoooooooooorrrrre~."

"Well, even if he has money, we still shouldn't trust this guy. Actually, we should try to get him before he can get us. Pre-emptive strike, you know?"

"Oooooooooooorrr~ we can ride this out and see how long he dooooooooeeeeeeessssssssn't~."

"You pig, you just want to see all of this stuff, don't you?" The bickering continued as they drove off in the limo to an extremely luxurious hotel. She looked at it in awe, the hotel was so beautiful and tall. And they would be able to stay in it thanks to Alistair. That was wonderful.

After he went and got rooms and keys, he came back to hand them out. Joslyn received her key and she went up to her room. She closed the door and looked around the room, which was very beautiful.

"Wow~" The three said in unison.

Before she went to bed, Joslyn decided to enjoy the jacuzzi that was in the bathroom. There was no harm in it, so she figured she would try it. And it was absolutely wonderful.

    "Oh wow~ This is amazing~."

    "Mmmmmm~ I'm sure it iiiiiiissssss~."

    "It must be..."

After her little bath, she dried off, put on her clothes, then went to bed with a towel wrapping up her hair. She turned on the TV and flipped channels. The clarity of the image on the screen was incredible.

    "Aaaaaaaamaaaaaaaazzzziiiiiiiiiiiiinnnngggg~."

Eventually, unaware of what time it was, Joslyn fell asleep.

They way she just suddenly showed up startled Joslyn. And she was even more startled when the dark angel asked to play a game, a trivia game no less. It was absolutely awful, it seemed like she asked those questions specifically because she knew they would get them wrong. Now she was giving them another chance, by having them give her up, the dark angel would reveal where the other three were. She was scared, extremely so. They wanted her, but for what? She had no real idea what they would need her for, but it couldn't be anything good.

"That cheap bitch! There's no way you could've known the answer to that question!"

    "Thiiiiiiiiisssss~ was not a fun gaaaaaaaaammmmeeeeee~!"

"You should wrap your hands around this chick's throat and choke her out!"

    "Sheeeeeee~ cheeeeeeaaaaaaaateeeeeeed~!!"

"Are you even listening to me!? Strangle this ho!" They were the last things Joslyn was thinking about. Right now, she was terrified. That girl is looking straight at her, and it wasn't looking good.

"Hey, let me ask you this, Bandages: What do you even need her for? A frail, pasty thing like her? What good would she be?" The way he asked was cutting, but she was curious what they needed her for. Not to mention, she would probably barely be able to stammer something out, anyways. She tried to look tougher than normal, not exactly her strong suit, and looked right back at the dark angel.

Well, she certainly wasn't pleased by my answer... He could clearly see that. Anyone could, really. It seemed that her physical appearance was some sort of button. Curiosity got the better of him and he began to wonder what would happen if he provoked her more. It was certainly possible that she could maul him. She looked about ready to jump at him after he answered her. Well, whatever.

"Hey, let me ask you this, Bandages: What do you even need her for? A frail, pasty thing like her? What good would she be?" He didn't even care if she was right there, he just wanted information. Not only that, he wanted to gauge how much shoving it would taking before she snapped. Probably not the smartest thing, but it would be something interesting to see.

The fight with the zombies wasn't too exciting after all. A slice here, a slash there, and it was completely over and done with. How boring. At any rate, Mr. Smooth Criminal introduced himself as Alistair Grey, not that Sam would remember that. More importantly, after having a rather brief chat initiated by the kid bluntly asking if he was an angel, they found out that he was and that he was a wealthy aristocrat. How extremely convenient. The girl tried to explain the situation in full, though she stammered through most of it. After seemingly thinking on it a few moments, he agreed to go with them out of boredom.

They decided to go to the storage unit to get Mr. Smooth Criminal his sword. While they were at it, they decided to get all of the swords that were there. It would be convenient for them to have the swords with them so that they could hand them to the angels that they encountered. Figuring out which one they were would take some doing without Red, but it would be mostly trial and error. Fortunately for them, Moneybags knew which angel he was himself. Saved them a whole lot of trouble of trying to figure out which one was his.

After picking up all of the swords, Mr. Smooth Criminal decided to invite them onto his private jet. The dude had his own private jet. Finding this guy was probably the luckiest thing that has happened to them so far. Now they could fly around the world without worrying about paying for tickets and the like. He suggested they go to Norway since he knows of another fallen angel that is there. Even better. Although, Sam did question how he knew this other guy was an angel. It didn't matter, he decided, since this would save them time trying to find this person. After everyone in their group got into the plane, they were off.

Everything just hurt. His arms, his legs, his torso, but especially his shoulder. Everything hurt like hell. He opened his eyes slowly. Moving his, well anything really, just hurt, although as time passed, it got easier to move. It still hurt to even sit up, though. Even so, he forced himself upright and put a hand up to his forehead. Last night was a bit of a blur, most of what he could remember right now involved pain. Lots and lots and lots of pain. After taking a look at his charred shoulder, he remembered what he did: He seared his wound shut.

    "Uuuugh... Never again..."

"Oh, you're awake!" The girl stood up from the bed.

"Don't remind me." He put his feet on the floor. Sam wasn't particularly happy to be awake at the moment, with all of the pain he is experiencing. It wasn't exactly the pleasurable kind. "What exactly happened last night?" It was silent for a bit before the girl spoke up.

"You don't remember? Hana and the two other girls that were here got taken some to some place..." She looked down at the floor as she spoke. That's right, the girls got kidnapped. Even if he didn't know where they were now, he had a really good idea who was behind it. That son of a bitch, Sam had already wanted to kick his ass, but now he was asking for a giant sword shoved firmly up where the sun don't shine.

"Oh... right." He moved his shoulder around to see if his little procedure worked properly. For the most part, the range of motion in his arm was better than before, though it would still take time for it to get back to full motion. Still better than practically being stuck to using one arm. In his current condition, he could use both arms to a certain extent. "Any plans on what to do about that?" He asked as he stood up and grabbed the shirt he tossed off.

"I think we have to look for them. No, we need to." The girl tried to look confident, though she still seemed doubtful.

"Alright then. But don't you think maybe we need to look for some of those other angels out there?" He asked as he put his shirt on. After putting it on, he noticed the kid standing in the room, looking all pumped up for some reason. "Kid, did you smoke something funny?"

"Oh, no. You missed a rousing speech he made to pump us up."

"Oh yeah?" Sam moved his shoulder around as he spoke. "Sorry I missed it, I guess..."

"Anyways, you said something about looking for other fallen angels? What exactly did you have in mind with that?"

"I figure since there are more of us out there, one of 'em could be loaded. And right now, we're in need of some money."

"Good point." She placed her finger on her chin. Soon after he said that, she took a look at the compass, noticing that the needle was pointing to someone. "Oh! There's a fallen angel nearby!"

"Well great! Let's see if he has any money." He went to pick up his wand that he tossed aside the other day and placed it in his pocket. It would be a good idea if he were armed with it, just in case something happened.

"Let's go!" With Powder leading the way, he followed her as the compass pointed them in the direction this angel was in.

She led them to some place not too far from the motel, where there was a guy fighting some more of those zombie things. "Oh, so these things are still roaming around? Great." For some reason he was wearing a completely white suit that was surprisingly not stained by any blood. Who the hell does this guy think he is, a Smooth Criminal? He kept moving his shoulder around in a circle before jumping into the fray and helping this guy cut up some zombie meat.

DAY: 25 - 1/4 | DATE: October 16th, 2013 [Wednesday] | LOCATION: Motel ==> Somewhere near the Motel in London, England

The other new person came into the room. He looked around the room for a bit before finally starting to speak. "Alright everyone, i still have absolutely no idea what happened last night, but I'm gonna assume that Hana and those two others whose names i never learned at all, that they were kidnapped. By zombies or some shit like that. ANYWAY. Point is we don't have our leader in red hair to help guide us on our journey anymore. But what we do have, is each other. We are all fallen angels which can only mean one thing! That we are meant to be complete badasses. So basically what I'm saying here is that we need to get our shit together and become even bigger badasses than what we already are. Now I might be new to this group, and heck, I know all ONE of you by name. Having said that I think we can all agree that we need to do our best to find our red headed leader and even more so, kick some...whatever the hell it is we're fighting's ass." Joslyn was getting hooked.

    "Is this kid for real?"

"Iiiiiiiiii~ have absolutely no idea, but it sure sounds mooooootivaaaaatiiiiiing~."

    "Ugh, whatever."

"Now then basically what we have to do is, is use some angel magic to find out where they are, or better yet, where more of us are. That way we can go in there and kick who's ever holding them up with some angel magic. But uh, like i said we basically need magic to find them since they could be in like hell or Wisconsin or something like that. Furthermore if we're gonna save them we need some more angel magic powers. And in order to do that we need to train, train and train. Now I might not look like much but I'm a tennis player. Even more importantly I'm a sports player. And while that sounded completely redundant it's basically saying, I know how to train every day and still get shit done. So we need to train and travel to wherever it is any sort of angel magic tells us where they are, each and every day, and become the biggest Fallen Angel Badasses this world has ever seen and...do what ever it is we're actually supposed to do. I still have no idea what our original mission even was anyway. But despite that, are you all with me in this rescue operation of sheer angel badassness." She was impressed. Even though she didn't get some of it, she was still impressed by the fact that he was trying to pump everyone up. She started to clap. And even though she was the only one who could hear it, there was another set of clapping coming from one of the demons in her head. Suddenly, the was a rustling noise coming from the other bed.

    "Ugh... Never again..."

"Oh, you're awake!" She was surprised. Joslyn honestly thought that he would be out for much longer than that.

"Don't remind me." He put his feet on the floor. "What exactly happened last night?" It was silent for a bit before the girl spoke up.

"You don't remember? Hana and the two other girls that were here got taken some to some place..." She looked down at the floor as she spoke. The other girls got kidnapped and they had no idea where in the world they could be. For that matter, they didn't know the identity of the person behind this whole thing.

"Oh... right." He was moving his shoulder around, trying to do something. "Any plans on what to do about that?" He asked as he stood up and grabbed the shirt he tossed off.

"I think we have to look for them. No, we need to." She tried her best to look confident, although she wasn't exactly sure if it was working.

"Alright then. But don't you think maybe we need to look for some of those other angels out there?" He asked as he put his shirt on. After putting it on, he noticed the kid standing in the room, looking all pumped up. "Kid, did you smoke something funny?"

For some reason he was wearing a completely white suit that was surprisingly not stained by any blood. Before she could say anything, Sam jumped right in and started cutting up zombies. It was a good thing he was on their side, even though he did try to choke out Hana for some reason. He actually seemed like a nice guy.

One of the new people that came was in the room with them. It was the officer, whose name she never really properly learned. After a few moments, he finally said something. "Joslyn was it? Do you still have that compass Hana gave you?" She pulled it out from underneath her shirt and held it out.

"I-I do. But I don't think it will directly lead us to them. It only points to the location of a nearby fallen angel that we haven't met yet. It doesn't point out specific people." She let the compass hang down from her neck as she stood up from the bed. "But... But I'm sure we'll find them. If we try, I'm sure we'll find them!" Joslyn tried to sound more confident, though she wasn't sure if she was doing it correctly or not. This was really the first time she has tried to assert herself more. It was bizarre, but she liked the feeling of confidence.

"Sure. If they don't die first." Tessa had been a lot more melancholy these past couple of days. She had no idea why, but she's been saying all of these horrible things a lot more often. It was starting to get on her nerves.

    "Ooooooooooh~, that certainly is a possibility, isn't iiiiiiiiiiiiit~?"

"We can do this. We can find them and save them." At this point, she was more talking to herself than to the officer in the room. She wanted to reassure herself most of all. Doubt was something that would rear its ugly head every now and then, that much was certain. Joslyn would just have to keep saying words of confidence and assurance every time it does. But, would they be able to find them in time? That was the question.

"Hmmmmm~ things should be getting a lot more interesting noooooooooow~."

    DAY: 25 - 1/4 | DATE: October 16th, 2013 [Wednesday] | LOCATION: Motel in London, England

Joslyn had woken up, her eyes red and swollen from crying last night. This was not good, what would they be able to do without Hana? They didn't have any money, they didn't know how to get around, and most importantly, they had no idea where in the world the girls were. The compass that Hana had given to her to hold on to might be able to help, but it wouldn't tell them exactly where they were. Since its function was to alert the person holding it to the location of a nearby fallen angel, it wouldn't be the most helpful thing when looking for specific people. Still, they had to try. There was no telling what could happen to them. For all she knew, they could be chained up against a wall and being tortured. The thought of that made her want to cry even more.

She sat up and looked over at Sam, who was still out cold. Not surprising, considering that he burned his wound shut. There was no telling how long he would be out for, but considering everything, it would definitely be a while. Joslyn moved in close to inspect his shoulder. The wound itself as well as a large portion of the skin around it was black, almost like charcoal. It was sickening to even look at it.

    "Woooooooow~, that is not a pretty siiiiiiiiiiiiight~."

    "Oof. Especially in the morning."

"My stomach hurts just looking at it." Joslyn sat back down on the bed, holding her stomach.

"So now what do we do? Give up? Try to go home with all of that money we don't have? We're really screwed in this situation."

"Aaaaaaasssss~ much as I don't want to say it, I'm with her on this oooooooooonnnneeeee~."

"But... we have to do something. We need to go save Hana and the others."

"Oh, okay then. Let's go find them at that location we totally know about. Let's go fly to wherever it is. We can do all of that as long as you believe, right? Get real. Trying to do anything to save them now is utterly pointless." It remained silent in the room for a good while.

"You're wrong," she said breaking the silence.

    "What was that?"

"You're wrong. Saving them isn't pointless. It would be a great help to us if they were here with us. We need all the help we can get, so saving them isn't pointless. In fact, I'm sure Hana would try to save me if I was taken away. She would do anything to get me back, so I should do the same for her."

"Whaaaaaaaat~ is this? When did you grow a baaaaaackboooooooneee~?"

"I've decided I don't want to be useless anymore. I don't want to have to constantly rely on others. And I have to start somewhere." Tessa let out a scoff.

"Fine then. Let's just see how far you can go, little girly." Joslyn wasn't even sure if she could pull this off, but she wanted to save Hana. She wanted to get the others back, so she resolved herself to get stronger for their sake. There wasn't even a hint as to where they were being held, but she had to try.

Sam fought off whatever the hell those things were swarming them from outside. Even though he was reduced to one arm, he could still fend off whatever came at them through the entrance. That was good enough. However, he soon noticed that Red had stopped fending them off. What the hell was she doing? He turned to look back, and saw that a pair of arms had taken hold of the Hay Sun, Cassandra, and Red and were pulling them towards the wall.

"Oh fuck no, you don't!" He dashed towards them, tossing his sword aside, hoping to grab at least one of them. But it was too late, they had already disappeared. Sam stood there in shocked silence. They were gone, those hordes of people were a distraction. The real purpose of this whole thing was to kidnap the girls. What pissed him off even more was that the girl that was supposed to have been taken by him was still there. They hadn't even attempted to take her, from what it looked like. His fist ignited. "That... arrogant... son of a bitch!" He had a feeling that Chicken Wings was behind this.

He turned around to see that the horde of demonic people had disappeared. They just up and vanished without a trace. That made him feel even worse. Now there was nothing to strike at to calm him down. The kid walked in from outside and looked around the room. He walked over to inspect Red's wand, which had fallen onto the floor.

He tossed it over at him, "well I guess we have to go figure out what to do tomorrow. Honestly I have no idea what happened, so if someone could explain it to me tomorrow, that'd be great. Night everyone." The wand hit Sam and it plinked onto the floor. After the kid went to his room, he walked over to the doorway and collapsed to his knees, beginning to repeatedly punch the ground. Cracks formed and spread each time he did, tears beginning to form in his eyes.

"Dammit!" He placed his hand on the ground, the flames having disappeared. There was nothing he could do now. Absolutely nothing. They were already gone. It's not like he could turn back time, or even stop it. It was useless. Useless, useless, useless. Pain ate away at him. It was coming from his wounded shoulder. The wound was starting to really piss him off. Then, an idea came to him. If he could control flames... what if he cauterized the wound? It would be extremely painful, but it should help him to recover quicker.

He walked into the room and sat down on one of the beds. The white haired girl was there too, all teary eyed over Red having been taken. "Listen girl. Don't freak out, but I'm about to do something that may seem stupid." She looked over at him, sniffling all the while. He took off his shirt and the bandages, revealing the wound from Red's blade. Sam took deep breaths as he brought his hand up. He concentrated on it for a little bit, trying to get it to ignite. After a short while passed, it finally caught on fire. He took even more deep breaths. This is either the greatest idea I've had so far, or the stupidest. After finally steeling his nerves, he placed his burning hand on his wound.

    "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"

The searing pain was intense. He fell backwards onto the bed, writhing in agony. That white haired girl rushed over to his side in a panic and looked at him, with no idea what to do. Sam wanted to say something to her, but the pain would only let him scream.

After the wound had finally closed, and the flame on his fist disappeared, he just lay there, passing out from the intense pain of the procedure.

    DAY: 24 - 4/4 | DATE: October 15th, 2013 [Tuesday] | LOCATION: Motel in London, England

After the monsters had left, Joslyn felt accomplished having helped to keep them away. She wasn't just some useless person standing on the sidelines or sleeping or anything like that. She had actually helped. Or so she thought. When she turned around to look for Hana, she was gone. Sam was standing in silence, but Hana was nowhere to be seen. Not only that, Cassandra and Hay Sun had gone missing too. What had happened? Why are they not there anymore?

"Whe-where are they?" There was no answer from Sam. "Where are they?" Tears started to form in her eyes. He still didn't give any answer. From his silence, she had assumed that during the whole attack from the demonic people, the girls had been taken. Even though she wanted to be useful and fend off the people trying to come in, she was still useless. She couldn't stop Hana or any of the other girls from getting kidnapped. The tears started to roll down her face. One of the strangers from yesterday came in. He inspected the wand that fell on the ground, presumably Hana's.

He tossed it over at him, "well I guess we have to go figure out what to do tomorrow. Honestly I have no idea what happened, so if someone could explain it to me tomorrow, that'd be great. Night everyone." The wand hit Sam and it plinked onto the floor. He followed him out the door only to collapse right outside. Sam started to punch the ground furiously. It was clear that the girls getting kidnapped affected him too. She started to sob loudly.

"You had no idea this was going to happen, so stop crying."

"Yoooooooooou~ really only have yourself to blame for thiiiiiiiisssss~."

"Shut your mouth, dipshit! This isn't the time for your asinine comments!"

"Myyyyyyy~ baaaaaaaaad~" After that, he remained silent.

"But seriously, stop your sniveling, it's pissing me off." Tears were streaming down Joslyn's face, her breathing arrhythmic.

"Listen girl. Don't freak out, but I'm about to do something that may seem stupid." She looked over at him, sniffling all the while. He took off his shirt and the bandages, revealing the wound on his shoulder. How did he get that wound!? Sam took deep breaths as he brought his hand up. He concentrated on it for a little bit. After a short while passed, it caught on fire. He took even more deep breaths. Then, he placed his burning hand on the wound.

    "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!"

He was burning the wound on his shoulder! She rushed over to him, not exactly sure what to do. He told her not to freak out, but suddenly burning a wound is something anybody would freak out over. All she could really do was watch helplessly as he writhed in pain from the pain.

"Thiiiiiiiissss~ guy must be out of his damn miiiiiiiiiind~!"

"To actually sear the wound shut like that!"

"Why would he do something like that?"

"He must've seen it as the quickest way to seal his wounds or something."

"That's just..." She stumbled back onto the other bed. He had finished closing the wound and seemed to pass out from the pain. And while all of this happened, she just stood by on the sidelines, unable to do anything. She lay down on the bed, tears starting to flow again. "I really am useless..." Time continued to pass by, as Joslyn eventually fell asleep.

Red turned to run back inside as a shape stepped out from behind a tree. She froze and looked past Sam. There, to the north, was a small human child -- no older than eight or nine. She relaxed until she saw the pitch black eyes and the mist circling the child's feet. Behind her, more and more people began to appear out of seemingly nowhere.

"Samuel," she said without looking at him. Red took a step closer to him and watched as the number of people began to dramatically increase. Sam looked around him to see body after body disappear into circling black pits. After mere moments, all of the rotting bodies had disappeared. Well, that certainly took care of the clean up.

Red grabbed Sam's hand and tugged him back as she worked her way towards the door. This wasn't good, the kid from yesterday was still out there. Red tried to call out to him, unsure if he heard or not. She gave Sam another firm tug on the arm. "We need to get in--" As much as he would've liked to have stayed outside, with his arm all messed up as it is, he wouldn't be handicapped. Not something he wanted to deal with.

They surged forward. She dropped his hand and took the last couple steps to the door before wrenching it open. He fell into the room after her. It was painful, but that was the least of his concerns at the moment. "Well... this is just fucking great." He pulled the wand from his pocket and transformed it into his sword. A red glow surrounded the entire blade and his forearm. Hopefully, the doorway would prevent those things out there from coming in in droves. He could only hope, though the prospect of cutting things up sounded fun.

Joslyn sat there wondering what to do when suddenly Hana and Sam burst into the room. She immediately stood up as Hana furiously dumped out the contents of her bag and looked for something. "Wha-wha-what's going on?" A look of worry and confusion evident on her face. She had no idea what to do.

"Well... this is just fucking great." He pulled the wand from his pocket and transformed it into his sword.

"Ooooooooh~, is something fun about to haaaaaaapppeeeeeen~?"

"You just had to open your fucking mouth, didn't you?"

"Whaaaaaaaaat~ of iiiiiiiiit~?" Tessa let out a frustrated grunt.

"Well great. Something is going to happen and I have no idea what. Girl, pull out that wand you got!"

    "Wha-whaaaat~?"

"This isn't the time for arguing. Hot stuff over there pulled out his, so you should get yours too!"

"R-right!" She felt around in her pockets for the box that she had gotten from that storage unit. After finding it, she opened it and pulled out the wand. "What-what do I do with it?"

"Oh, you're hopeless. Will it to transform!"

"Uuumm." She thought about wanting it to transform as she held it. At first it didn't seem to be working, but after a while, it finally transformed into the form of a thin sword. She nearly dropped it out of surprise. Well, she wanted something to happen. So something has happened. Now she could try to not be useless for once.

The white flats were coated in a layer of dirt. "You weren't a criminal." she told him. It was the truth. She let the smile spread. "You were far from it actually. A general and a hero. You did die honorably, no matter what it may look like to you." She pressed the tip of her finger to her temple. "I remember it like it was yesterday."

There was a rustling and she jumped. Red looked around anxiously. "Did you hear that?" Something was definitely up. Sam adopted a defensive stance as he looked around.

"I definitely heard that." This wasn't good. He had a gut feeling that something was definitely about to go down.

She waited until the cop left to pull Sam aside. One hand was firmly wrapped around his good arm and she turned to him. The girl gave him a once - over brushing the bangs out of her face. "If there's something bothering you, you should just say it. If it's that urge you mentioned, then you could always just do something to keep your hands busy. If the hands are distracted, then the mind can focus on other things. We could find you a Rubik's Cube or something somewhere. That might help..." A Rubik's Cube? Seriously? That was her solution to his problem. A fucking puzzle cube that he couldn't force himself to give two shits about? Despite how silly it sounded, he could tell that she was being serious.

"So you're saying that me fiddling with a colorful cube is gonna help distract me from my urges..." He said it with as straight a face as he could manage. The hint of a smile was on his lips. Even though the idea was completely asinine, the fact that she came up with something like that was amusing. "Whatever, Red."

Shifting to the left, Red looked out into the distance. She played uneasily with the hem of her shirt. Something was on her mind. She pressed her lips together and a soft sigh escaped her. "You're not that different." she said without looking at him. Her voice was hollow and filled with remembrance. "We've all gone through a lot of varying lives, but as Samuel, you're not that different from the version of Abaddon that stood tall and proud in city of Rome -- the one that died honorably."

"Is that so...?" He stood silent for a good while. Was that the case? Was he really similar to the Abaddon from Rome? He hardly thought that there would be any similarities between any of his lives. Hell, he hadn't even thought of having lived different lives before all of this started. Those dreams were just nightmares of him taking the role of someone else as they died. That's what they used to be, not memories that keep resurfacing. He tilted his head to the side and looked away from her. "I hardly think being a criminal is honorable..."

The girl pursed her lips and straightened out. Her hands rested at the small of her back and she arched her torso so that it would crack. When she was done stretching out, she sighed. She eyed his shoulder before meeting Sam's gaze. "I could stitch up your shoulder. The bandages need to be changed anyway." That was great. He would have to sit down and wait for her to finish sticking him with needles. He was beginning to think she was enjoying this whole thing.

"Ugh... Stitches..." He could already imagine the pain just by saying it. There were footsteps approaching from behind. When he turned to look, it was the cop.

"Officer," she greeted with a nod of the head.

"Sleep well, Hana? How 'bout you Sammy?" Whoa, nobody called him Sammy. Nobody.

"Hey, nobody calls me Sammy, got it?" He pointed right at his face.

    "Fine, thank you." she returned.

"I was thinking about heading out to get some food and supplies. Is there anything you're low on or need?" he said. Ugh. He had a feeling that he would keep calling him Sammy. This would not bode well.

The girl looked thoughtful for a moment before replying. "I could do for some heavy weight thread and fresh bandages. I only have a small amount left. In all honesty, we really need to get moving from this place. We can't keep staying here." They had been there for a while. Maybe a change of location might do them good. Not like he would be able to do much anyway.

"Bandages got it. I was going to grab some food, and cloths too. I've got a truck ready over there. I'm surprised I still remember how to hot wire." The officer gave them a nod and walked over to the room he and the kid were staying. He opened the door and grabbed his assault rife. Before he went out he walked back over to the girl. "I should be back in 30 minutes. When I get back we should probably pack up. We can leave in the morning. If that's ok with you."

"Feh. Whatever." His mood definitely took a dip. He felt the itch start to get stronger. Ugh... geez. My shoulder is fucked up AND this itch is growing. Great... Just great... He started rubbing the back of his neck.

"Unf." That woman burst from the door and bumped into him. It caused him a whole lot of pain and made him drop his cigarette. He was only half way done with it, too. But now that it hit the floor, right next to one of the decaying bodies, he couldn't and didn't want to finish it. "Oh, you're here."

"Right. I'm here." He scratched the back of his head. The pain coming from his shoulder still lingered. She did bump into him rather hard. "Man, you made me drop my last cigarette. Why were you even bolting out of the room in the first place?"

Her blue eyes met his and she pressed her lips together. "I thought - I thought you might have left."

"Oh. Well, as you can see, I'm still here." He quipped. It's not like he could do much in his current condition. Plus, he was pretty sure that he could end up dead somewhere if he wasn't careful. Surviving was his current priority. He wanted to make sure he would stay alive. Taking the white haired girl was the last thing on his mind. "You did hit me rather hard, just now. Not to mention you wasted my last cigarette. What are we gonna do about that?" His head was tilted to the side, a displeased look crossed his face. He was really enjoying that cigarette, too.

She thought about taking it off and putting it around Hana's neck, but she decided not to and let her sleep a little longer.

"Goooooooooooood~ morning there. Not going to sleep the whole daaaaaaaaaaaay~?"

"Good morning to you, too. I feel like I've been sleeping too much lately, so I thought that I should try to do something other than sleep."

"Oh, that's good. Try not being useless for once." Joslyn puffed out her cheeks.

"How rude." She went into the bathroom, took off her clothes, and hopped into the shower. It's been a while since she took one. The hot water falling onto her skin felt wonderful. It was extremely refreshing.

After finishing with her shower and toweling off, she put on the clothes she had before. It felt odd having to re-wear those clothes, but since they didn't have any of their stuff, she would have to make due with them. She continued to dry off her hair with a towel as she walked out into the room, steam coming from behind her.

    "Sooooooooooo~"

Sam sat himself upright and put his arm over his bandaged shoulder. "Uuugggh..." It was painful to move even a little bit. Sharp pains emanated from the wound whenever he did. He rubbed it a little bit as he popped his neck. At that point, the injured man had a desire to smoke. He looked for the pack he had with him to check if he still had any. One left. Lucky. With the cigarette and his lighter in hand, he went for the door and opened it.

He stepped out and leaned against the wall right next to the door. The two other guys that had shown up yesterday were already out and about. Not that it mattered to him. He put the cigarette to his lips and lit it. Sam shoved the lighter into his pocket and inhaled. Aah. That hit the spot. Smoke billowed out of his mouth as he took the cigarette from his mouth. Being handicapped like this is definitely going to leave me at a disadvantage. I should still be able to fight and everything, but I won't be able to go all out. That's good for them, I guess... The fact of the matter is that he had no idea of his full potential. He had no idea exactly how much of his power he had been tapping into.

The cigarette was back in his mouth as he looked around the area. Bodies still littered the area. "I sure made a mess, didn't I?" he quipped to himself. Sam was smiling fondly as he remembered the thrills of cutting up their bodies. The sensation that coursed through him as blood splattered all over. Ah, that was so much fun. Well, minus the last part where I got my shoulder pierced. He blew the smoke directly into the air above him. The smile on his face lingered.

Well, that wouldn't sit right with him unless he could get some kind of enjoyment out of it. Oh well, no use bitching about it now. A guy needs his sleep. With that thought, he went over to one of the beds she so graciously set out on the floor. Not as comfortable as a mattress, but it'll do. Sitting in the motel, waiting for them to come back was getting a little boring. She kept fiddling with the compass for a good while as she sat there thinking. There was nothing she could really do to help, was there? She herself had no idea what she could do. And in terms of strength, that guy Sam was really strong. Strong enough to leave those dark marks around her neck. She was frail, and he was powerful. That was undeniable.

"You are such an unbelievable prick!"

    "Aaaaaaaand~ you're just a huge unbelievable biiiiiiiiiiitchfaaaaaaace~!"

"Oh, don't give me that cockbreath!"

"Haaaaaaaaa~! This coming from the one who eats so many of theeeeeeem~!"

"What the fuck did you just say, assmunch!?"

"Suuuuuuurely~ you heard me, unless you're going deaf from all of those dicks getting shoved into your eaaaaaaaaarrrrsss~?"

"Oooooh heeeeeeeeeellllll no, you did not just say that!" Afterwards, the sounds of gulping could be heard. "You are so fucking dead, asswipe!" Their bickering continued from last time. Honestly, this was just getting repetitive. They were constantly going at each others throats. At some point, it just gets sad. Incredibly so.

While all of this was going on, Joslyn started to yawn a little bit. She was getting sleepy again, which is amazing for someone who had spent two whole days asleep. "I'm getting sleepy again~" Joslyn started to rub her eyes, but she tried her best to stay up, waiting for them to come back. She tried her hardest to stay up to see them come back to no avail. So he just sat there, trying to keep his arm as still as possible so that he won't aggravate his wounded shoulder.

As they had their conversation in the car, Sam just drifted in and out of it, not paying much mind to any of what they were saying. He did, however, hear one thing that was said in the car.

"If you want my opinion, I say we take care of some of Lucifer's Lieutenants. Like Temeluchas and Danel. That might derail their plans for at least a little while and give us more time to our troops on order." The cop had voiced his opinion. Well, that idea wasn't half bad. In fact, it sounded like a whole load of fun. However, the woman quickly shot it down in favor of finding more of them and training them. How boring. Well, he would be forced to watch them train while he did whatever it was that woman would want him to do.

Sam let out a sigh as they were talking. They were talking about something else now. Nephilim, or whatever nonsense that was. He couldn't care less even if he tried. A mention of a fiancee here, a mention of hellfire there. Blah, blah, blah. All this talking was so boring. That itch started to grow just a little bit.
