That's what I think as well. And I'm pretty sure the guy in the cloak is Roxas because his back's a bit arched which is how he normally stands.
Xaldin says Demyx's name in a new cutscene in FM. But you're right - Xigbar and Luxord's names have never been said. Weird considering Xigbar's one of the more important members and he contributes the most to the future storylines (hinting the existance of VAT to Sora and saying Xemnas' secrets to Zexion).
Nomura once said that he was thinking about putting in cooperative play but that the multiplayer won't be as complete as 358/2 Days.
I don't think any KH fan wants it to be a dream in any way - Sleeping Beauty Syndrome, psychological, anything; I know I don't. I mean, I think even Disney's gonna spaz if that happened.
I think Terra's "Fatal Mode" happens when you fill the "Command Gauge", not the "Focus Bar".
If you ever do sequels, I'm up for Xemnas, Marluxia, and Vexen (I can do the creepy laugh). :D
I'm kinda confused about a few more names. I really think Demyx is "Deh-mix", but I'm kinda confused about Luxord and Marluxia. Is it "Look-sord" and "Mar-look-sia" (as I pronounce them) or "Luck-sord" and "Mar-luck-sia"? And Vexen... Well I can definetely understand if it's really pronounced "Vixen". XD
Here's my best summary of BBS to answer any other questions you have: Birth By Sleep is for the PSP and it takes place 10 years before KH1 and stars Terra, Aqua, and Ven. The only connection they have to the three characters we already know are: Riku (Japanese) - Land (English) - Terra (Latin), Kairi - Sea - Aqua, and Sora - Sky - Ven(tus). Basically, all three are Keyblade apprentices sent by their master to track down Master Xehanort (old guy) and his apprentice (Dark Soldier) who've vanished because their disappearance foreshadows a great disaster. The main theme in this game is Ven's identity, that is, why Ven looks just like Roxas. It'll also explain why MX (Master Xehanort) has the same name as Xehanort in KH2, and it'll explain how the whole KH saga began. Also, BBS has "new enemies" that is neither Heartless nor Nobodies because they never existed at this time. The most popular theory is that: Since a heart becomes a Heartless and the remaining body and soul becomes a Nobody, then in BBS the new enemy has got to be just what the soul becomes. From what we can see in the scans of the game, you mostly visit the worlds of the seven Princesses of Heart (Cinderella's, Aurora's, Snow White's, and Jasmine's worlds have been confirmed) meaning they're significant to the story. Mickey (who's not a king yet) is still training under Yen Sid and seems to have connections to Terra, Aqua, and Ven ('cause he's seen protecting Ven). Terra, Aqua, and Ven have their own scenarios and you can choose to play any of their scenarios by choosing a character (Aqua hasn't been confirmed to be playable yet for some reason, but everyone's pretty sure it's her). This game (along with the other two games) is connected to a future game (most likely KH3). The gameplay looks really fun. It's not just button-mashing this time: You can create your own command menu with different abilities and assign the abilities to different buttons. The more you attack, the higher your "command bar" gets. The higher it gets, the more abilities you can use. With Terra, if you completely fill the bar, you go into "Fatal Mode" where you do strong attacks and finishers. It looks as if the characters are really acrobatic and skilled. Terra specializes in strength, Ven in speed, and Aqua possibly in magic (as seen in the secret ending of FM). There you have it. I also recommend you look at the KH2 and KH2:FM secret endings on YouTube and search for screenshots of the game on this site if you haven't already. If you want to see other theories, look around the forum. I recommend you read this one though - it's pretty good: http://forums.khinsider.com/future-kingdom-hearts/88253-egyptian-mythology-all-connects.html
Yeah, he's right. In that interview it also mentioned that since Drives are unstable, the darkness remaining in Sora may become activated. Although he's not a Heartless in Antiform, that's the closest he'll ever get to being one again.
Man, besides the story don't you think the gameplay is gonna be awesome? Playing as all three of them, each with their own fighting style, and the new battle system (no more buttom mashing!). Plus, Xigbar said that Sora didn't "look like half the hero the others were.". Since he meant VAT, they've gotta be good. Look at Terra and Ven's gameplay screens - Terra looks as if he uses both Fire and Blizzard at the same time, Ven's Thunder looks like Final Form's Thunder, and Ven's melee attack has such a long distance!
Yeah, I've noticed that he holds it in his right hand too, but maybe he just does that when doing certain moves? I somehow liked it better in his left hand. As for holding it upside-down, he only holds it normally when he casts thunder as you can see in one picture, but in the other picture, if you look carefully, you can see that he's holding it backwards while he's attacking. So I'm guessing he only holds it normally when he needs to. That makes sense 'cause it'll be quite hard to point the Keyblade upwards while holding it backwards.
100% agreed. I've learned how to tell which member's cloak is which, and I'm completely sure that was Xemnas. Plus, it's backed up by his voice, his memory of his old conversation (when he was still Xehanort) with Ansem, and Xigbar telling Zexion that he hears XEMNAS speaking to someone in the "Room of Sleep" which was the room that he entered in the cutscene. The armor was definetely Aqua's. I looks just like the one she wears in the secret ending; it's blue, it looks like a woman's, the helmet's the same, and the Keyblade's the same. Oh and it really hasn't been confirmed that Aqua is the 14th member. I personally believe it but there really isn't any proof. A majority of members saying so isn't enough. Unless Nomura himself says that Aqua's the 14th, we can only speculate.
Alright, this is the outcome of my intense boredom: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Ocm5MZT5Afo
In KH, 3 things make up a human: the body, the heart, and the soul. If a person gives in to the darkness, the heart becomes a Heartless and the leftover body and soul becomes a Nobody. In BBS however, Nomura stated that neither Heartless nor Nobodies existed. So I think, based on many other theories I've seen, that the new enemy is what a "corrupted soul" becomes. In the KH2:FM secret ending, MX seemed to absorb something from Ven before freezing him. This could be his soul. This could explain why Roxas looks like Ven: Ven's soul somewhow entered Sora. This could also be the key to discovering the meaning of "Birth By Sleep. In Egypt, there are two symbols for rebirth and one of them is the snake. The reason that a snake is a symbol for rebirth is the shedding of the snake's skin. When the skin is shed, the snake is "reborn" into a new creature. In the secret movie, if you look hard enough, you can see that a snake is wraped around the D.S.'s keyblade. This is what I think: since the D.S.'s helmet symbolizes the soul and snake on the keyblade symbolizes rebirth, Birth by Sleep may mean the rebirth of the soul. Now the next Egyptian symbol for rebirth is the lotus flower. In case you may not know what one looks like, the lotus flower is what Sora, Donald, and Goofy were sleeping in. They were sleeping in Lotus Shaped Pods! From this observation, Birth By Sleep may also have another meaning. Yes, I stated that Birth by Sleep may be refering to the Rebirth of the Soul but it also could be refering to the Rebirth of the Memory because of the restoration of Sora's memory in the white lotus pod. It could also be both! You see how it all connects?
Yeah, his helmet is the shape of a hawk which in ancient egypt means royalty, and his armor is yellow which is connected to Master Form which also means royalty, from what I can remember. Nomura stated that Ven and Roxas are totally different people although they're both connnected...
There can't, actually. BBS takes place only 10 years before KH1 meaning Sora, Kairi, Ven, and Aqua are all alive so the idea of reincarnation is not possible. As for "Chaser", before I didn't believe it was the knights' titles nor the name of the new enemy. But something actually makes that term make sense: Terra can change his Keyblade's form in the FM battle right? It's almost like metal bending. I think it's possible we'll see all three of them do this in BBS. Hey, maybe all Keyblade Masters of the past could do this which gave all of them the title, "Chasers".
Hey it's me again - The original winner back for more :sly:. Which song would you prefer I use?: 1.) Raindrops Keep Falling On My Head - BJ Thomas 2.) One Step Closer - S Club Juniors 3.) Pump It - Black Eyed Peas 4.) You'll Be In My Heart (I was kinda saving this until BBS comes out but meh...) - Phil Collins
Yeah well, plot holes in BBS will definetely be filled in KH3 since they're connected. Like I said, when we finish KH3, we'll know everything. If not, a KH3:FM (as key dragon suggested) will 100% complete the story. That, I'm completely sure of. ;)
The games actually make more sense when you play all three of the main games already out (KH1, CoM, and KH2). I think they're making the three new games to finally fill in any remaining plot holes and to answer all other remaining questions regarding the previous games. The three new games are also connected to a "future game" (KH3 obviously) which will most likely be the final game of the series. So I think these three new games are to fill in plot holes for both the three already-released games and KH3, meaning once we finish playing KH3, there will be no need for SE to make another KH game 'cause every plot hole will have been filled in and all the questions will have been answered. Get it? Ahem, a bit off-topic there but, that's what I think all of this is leading up to.
Of course he's strong. He's been training with the Keyblade for 10 years! Plus it looks as if he fights M.X.'s apprentice in BBS. Man, I really hope we'll see Mickey showing off his true swordsman skills in that game.
