It's good to see some decent news. It's been dry as of late. KH III and beyond is all good and well, but they may as well finish up DDD. I am waiting for that to be released. When it is, I will invest in a 3DS.
Good news, to be sure. This thread reminded just how peeved I am that Versus XIII still has no release date. Even overseas. Once a game gets to the point that it's delays in development interfere with the progression of my favorite franchise, I know I have given up on it. =/
Sounds great. I have always wanted a reason to play the final mixes. Now the reason is staring me in the face. =]
Consider it forgotten. Peace. =]
I never implied that graphics are all that qualifies a good game. I just stated that my television is high definition and the PSP doesn't support it. Maybe I just want to enjoy the game a second time in a way that is different than the first time? And in fact, if you must know, I own the cables for the PSP to be connected to a standard TV. I am done looking at this news thread, as I have gleaned all the information I needed from it. Consider this a lesson about how asinine it is to assume things about someone without any factual basis for making said assumptions. I have never hacked a game or game console in my life, I consider games an art form in which enjoyable game play dictates graphical quality the majority of the time, and that despite having a different opinion than you on the potential re-release of a great game, I don't assume you meant to offend me or behave like a troll. Good day.
The PSP doesn't have HD output. Hooking standard AV cables to a 55 inch HDTV and blowing up images from a 5 inch screen will destroy picture quality. Also, who said anything about hacking? There is a chance Sony will legitimately release an HD version of BBS on their own. They have announced HD reboots of bestselling PSP titles enhanced for the PS3 already, and some are out in Japan. With any luck, BBS may see another release.
Sweet. BBS, alongside Crisis Core Final Fantasy VII, are my two favorite PSP games ever. I poured over 110 hours into BBS, and it definitely is an outstanding portable game. Here's hoping if they reboot it for the PS3 I can play it again on the big screen.
Hell yes. Watching it does bring forth the question.... Since when can puffins join the military?
I hope Dream Drop Distance does get at least a small amount of coverage. Or even this: Sony has recently announced they are rebooting several best selling PSP titles into HD PS3 titles. I pray Birth By Sleep will be remastered for the PS3. Maybe even with additional content. Of course, there is no confirmation of this. But I can hope.
How disappointing. =[ Oh well. I'll hope for news of Dream Drop Distance later in the future. Of those listed, XIII-2 is the only title I am interested in. I hope Square offers good insight on that. I also wonder where Versus XIII is. A game 2,376,452,354,237 years in development that staggers the production of future KH titles. Kind of irritating.
Apology(acoustic), by Alesana.
This sounds kind of fun. I'm game. As for why Organization XIII never found Ven's body, I believe that since Aqua locked the world with Master Keeper, you may not be able to access Ven without it. The wielder of that specific keyblade may be the only one to unlock the room in which Ven is hidden.
Excited! I still have to tie up some loose ends in Re:Coded(I know. There is no excuse for why it has taken me this long), but nothing like some promising news or even a possible release date for the next game in the KH series to motivate me to do so! Thanks Mike. :)
Best of luck. Though I don't suggest eating cookie threads. I did that once and I got horrible indigestion.
It isn't so much a matter of my desiring that Final Fantasy characters play a larger role in the games. I just want to see more of them in terms of variety. Zidane or Garnet would be cool additions, or even characters from XII or Tactics. Heck, just throw a few in as colosseum matches for hidden easter eggs. That would be cool. Outside of KH II, all we have gotten is a handful of characters from VII and VIII. Last I checked, there were thirteen major final fantasy installments and numerous spin off titles. Square clearly isn't using all of their resources.
Take it easy there. I was just goofing around. No hurt feelings intended. Everyone is entitled to think what they please.
If I was a jerk, I would say something like, "If I wanted your opinion, I would give it to you." But since I am a nice guy, I won't say such things. :)
My point exactly. You don't have to be a fierce, front line, forceful girl to be a good protagonist.
1. That is subjective to opinion. 2. What would you do against heartless, nobodies, and Disney villains with no keyblade, no obvious powers/abilities, no significant combat experience, and you were a petite teenage girl? 3. She is there for a purpose. Perhaps one that is just not obvious yet. Those who have completed BBS may already have an inkling of what she may be capable of. I am sure she has a role in the grand scheme. There are a lot of Kairi haters. It usually revolves around the mentality that she is too much of a Mary-Sue or a wallflower. I was hoping after the introduction of Aqua(and to a lesser extent Xion) these people would pipe down, but to no avail. I sometimes wish these individuals would go punch themselves in the face.
Sweet news. Even if it isn't much, any little bit of news about this game reminds me of how excited I am to play it. I already have the money for my 3DS tucked away, but I am not gonna buy it at launch, as not only do I not trust launch systems(My original DS was defective out of the box and I had 3 launch Xbox 360s in a row that all got red ring), but I also don't want any launch games and see none that appeal to me. What I want most are KH DDD, LoZ Ocarina of Time 3D, Tales of the Abyss 3D, and the TBA Final Fantasy title. None are coming out with the system, so I am going to wait. As for anyone who does get a launch unit, let us know how it is. =]
