I am really hoping that the June/July release predictions are spot on. Having all summer to play, free of the shackles of tertiary education would be pure delight.

People worry too much. So what if one lone editor on IGN has a bone to pick with KH? We are all on this site because we share a mutual appreciation for the game series. Despite story complexity, platform jumping, stale revisited worlds, and so on, the series can't be that much in a dark place. Square Enix is still pumping new ones out, and the masses are still buying them. Thus, demand will ensure more of them are to come. What do I think of the article? I think it is one person's opinion. That is all I make of it. Why make it into anything else?

Second-rate dubbing is definitely a concern. I hope they take the time to do an excellent job. But the summer release date certainly has my spirits up.

I always feel like game companies wait until JUST after the school term begins to release games. In September 2010, Birth By Sleep was released just 3 days after I returned to school. And on September 20, 2011(Not that this is KH related) Gears of War 3 was released two weeks after I returned to school. An employee at Gamestop once told me that many companies are hesitant to release games over the summer because they don't want to be to blame when angry parents claim their children spend all day indoors looking at a screen. I'm not sure how accurate that is, but the summer months always seem like dead zones when it comes to game releases. Then the fall comes and we get swamped with great games.

Oh well. Thanks for the update, Mike.

Outstanding news. Summer tends to be sort of a videogame dead zone. This will definitely liven it up. Thanks for the update, Mike! Made my day!

Awesome finds. In the final video, at the 1:00 mark, Sora looks like he is grinding through the door factory place in Monsters Inc. Can't say for sure though. That would be a cool world. With how monsters emerge from the closet to scare sleeping children, and how this game's whole theme is based on sleep.

Certainly some interesting information. Specifically the title explanation, the premise of the beginnings of development for KH III, and the idea that the game encompasses more than just the Mark of Mastery exam. I dare say I will be picking up a copy at the book shop. Thanks for the info.

Certainly a useful system. As stated by others, the ability to briefly recap the events of past games isn't quite the same as experiencing 50 hours of gameplay yourself, but it is certainly an appreciated refresher for this KH veteran and I am sure will be appreciated by newcomers to the series. It may even instill the desire to give past titles a try. Good move, Square. Looking forward to this event. Thanks for the update.

I'd rather have a bundle with the limited edition 3DS and the game. I already own Days and Re:Coded. Despite the cards being cool, they aren't worth $200 or more.

So many amazing things. Outstanding worlds to explore, Jeff Bridges, new gameplay mechanics, Axel seemingly returns, Ursula, Young Xehanort everywhere you turn, outstanding CGI, and pretty well almost the whole final minute featuring so many past faces. This game is going to be a blast. I am feeling the same depravity I felt during the months prior to the release of BBS. Hurry Square! Give me a date so I can watch the calendar every day. D8

I hope so too. Voice acting being recorded and finished signals that the game is only just beyond the horizon. Thanks for the info, Mike.

What pointless drivel. If I recall, it was said in a past interview that it is becoming hard for new fans to get into the series due to increasing complexity, so that issue should be addressed. To me, it would then be sensible to release the first 3 initial installments so players can get a concept of the series's roots. Like many others, I too was hoping for an HD collection of the first 3 games. But an overpriced collection of games that haven't even been out for more than a couple years? Get real. :l

Whether or not I buy this is entirely dependent on how much music they recycle. If there is a ton of music that is simply a remix of tracks featured in previous games(i.e. 358/2 Days), then I may hold out. However, due to the nature of this game featuring many new worlds and being a stand out title unique to itself such as BBS was, I may consider it. Also, it is rare that I purchase a soundtrack collection prior to my buying or completing the game. I like to first hear the music when it has the most emotional impact. This, IMO, is usually when you encounter it within the game. Hearing the music first without any experience with the game and only later within the game won't feel the same. Either way, good find.

This builds tension. For those who wanna talk building tension.

That aside, I love the entire DB series. It is my favorite anime of all time. I started watching it as a kid, and later in life began to collect it across all media. Sure, as I got older I became more and more aware of it's plot holes and flaws, but to me these only add to it's charm. DBGT isn't the strongest installment of the series IMO, but it certainly is significant to appreciating the entire DB universe as a whole.

To me, the decals seemed like a half-arsed way to make up for a lack of a proper console release. Just in my opinion. I sold mine on eBay. >>; I also make a point not to put stickers on anything valuable I own. Be it my game consoles, my computer, or my car. ._.

No, The DS for Days never did come stateside. Nor did the PSP for Birth By Sleep. Which makes me hesitate to get too excited for this. I have purposely been holding back buying a 3DS under the assumption a special bundle console would be released with DDD, which I would rather have than a plain color. However, looking at the history of the KH themed consoles being released outside Japan, I have little reason to believe that it will be released here. Looks like I will be stuck with "Cosmo Black." $#%*.

I don't know all there is to know about it, but I heard that Square Enix had conflicts with the family of Edgar Rice Burroughs regarding the usage of Tarzan within other KH games after the initial installment. In case you don't know, Burroughs is the original author of the Tarzan literary work. Due to such conflicts, Square has not been able to use the Deep Jungle world since the first game. Pretty sure this is the cause, put simply. There is likely more to it.
