Thank you. You have saved me a grueling string of boss fights. Have an outstanding day. :)
I completed the game today on Proud difficulty. It was fantastic. That aside, I finished with nine trophies. Which, the minimum number to unlock the secret movie being 5 on my chosen difficulty, I figured I was golden. However, I noticed during the credits, the game has you "dive" for the letters to spell out "secret movie unlocked" or something of that nature. I was actually annoyed when I collected every letter but the "d" at the end of "unlocked." So I thought I would have to beat the game again to unlock the secret movie in theater mode. Yet, when I loaded up my clear data, I was informed that the secret movie was viewable in theater mode. So what gives? Is there more than one secret movie in this game? Or does collecting the letters during the credits only serve as a gimmick? Was there a purpose for diving for the letters at all? Thanks in advance.
Alright. Thank you for all your help. :)
So just unlock all the abilities on each spirit and both characters will have all abilities by the time I am done? Awesome. And for abilities whose effectiveness can be amplified by equipping the ability multiple times, can I unlock further tiers simply be creating duplicates of a dream eater with that ability and leveling it? i.e, HP Boost or Combo Plus?
So what you're saying is that once the ability is unlocked with the spirit, I don't even need to have it in my active party for either character and I can still use the abilities I unlocked with it?
I am still early in my game progression, and I have come to discover that the spirits I create with one character can be used by the other. However, for optimal character development, I was wondering if unlocking abilities via ability link with the spirit will grant the abilities permanently to both characters, as is the case with the combat commands, or just the character who the spirit is currently equipped with? Namely, should I create different spirits for both characters, or will Sora and Riku sharing the same spirits affect their development negatively? Thank you.
Just the kind of answers I was looking for. Thanks guys. :)
Perhaps I am thinking too far into this, but I have quickly taken to advancing with one character to a certain point, dropping before my drop gauge empties, getting to an equivalent point with the other character, and dropping again. I prefer to complete worlds with Sora first, as I feel his cut scenes happen first chronologically in the story. But there is no real proof of this, I suppose. Is this harming me in any way aside from perhaps rarely activating bonus time or lower drop point rewards at each drop? Namely, will I end up missing out on valuable items by doing this in the long run and I should stop? Thanks.
All I needed to know. Thanks guys. :)
Just got my copy of the MoM edition today. I am eager to start a game, but I want to know this first. In past titles, playing on Proud mode guaranteed you trophies and rewards you likely couldn't get any other way. In the most spoiler free fashion possible, can anyone tell me what rewards await me at the end of each difficulty mode? Or if playing in Proud mode is the only way to unlock everything? Thanks. *When I say rewards, I am referring to the secret ending, trophies, and other such things.
Just picked up the Mark Of Mastery edition. Starting now. :)
Wow! The launch looks like it was a blast. I hope you all enjoyed yourselves. Enjoy the early copies of the game! Picking up mine tomorrow. Couldn't be more excited. Who could have known ten years ago this is where we would be?
1. Since many voice actors are so talented in voice manipulation and thus sometimes unrecognizable by voice alone between games, what are some other notable characters you have voiced in other videogames? 2. Without any spoilers, did you get significant character development or screen time in DDD?
I understand your displeasure at this title along with that of many other traditional DMC fans out there. But to be fair, you are unaware of the context in which the news anchor refers to Dante as a sexual deviant. It is entirely possible that the news anchor is merely spreading propaganda and misinformation about Dante as part of the game's story. There is no factual statement from Capcom saying that Dante is indeed a registered sex offender or anything. On the other hand, it is possible that maybe Dante is into closet bondage or has a foot fetish. My point is, nobody knows at this time. Why get irritated over facets of a game that are uncertain?
I haven't heard any of the music aside from DDD's version of Dearly Beloved. I greatly appreciated BBS's score. Is it worth importing? I kind of want to play the game first, so the music will have the context of people/places/battles when I hear it later.
I am excited. I wish it was earlier in July so I would have more time to play before classes resume, but oh well. At least it is over the summer at some point. Thanks for the update. :)
Certainly useful information. Thanks for the update.
I too recall this. I wonder if the final world of the game is a secret. This game can't release fast enough.
Aesthetically impressive. I too hope the trailer is released on youtube at some point. Congrats to those lucky enough to be there in person. :)
Nice! Can't wait for the game. Gonna black out after March 29th though. Reduce spoilers and such.
