D'daear stood by and watched as Krowley proceeded towards the enigma of a figure that stood before them. It seemed to have been a bad idea, he could tell from the vibe Base was giving off. "What is going on here?" he murmured under his breath, low enough to not to be heard. Were they friends? Looked like that way from the way Krowley was reacting to the figures cry for help. Still, something didn't quite feel right. With the way Luna was hostile at the man, Steel noting that he was a clear threat, and the way Base was holding back from stopping Krowley all pointed to Aux; as Krowley had just called him, having an ulterior motive. D'daear took a step forward, outstretching his hand towards Krowley's direction. He too now felt compelled to stop him. "Krowley-" A second later he saw the armored individual fall down the steps. Base immediately took point, in front of the downed party member, concerned for his friend. It was a heart wrenching moment, to watch Krowley extend his hand out to someone he clearly cared about, to be fooled by a ruse manipulative of Krowley's own emotions. An indignant anger weld up within D'daear's heart. He ran to Base's side, summoning his keyblade without much thought. It felt easier now, as opposed to before. "Pretending to surrender and biting back when the guard's down. Don't know who taught you how to fight, but a majority would consider that a war crime. Not to mention something only an incredibly weak individual would do." Base spoke out. With a nod of agreement, D'daear took stance just in case. "That's just low..." he tried to build on, slowly taking his eyes off of Aux to take a look at Krowley. "You can still stand, right?" he inquired, hoping the guy could shake it off. He didn't know what Aux was capable of, but if his teammates were willing to fight, then so was he. And just as he was starting build the will to fight, Luna charged in with keyblade in hand, yet falling after having taken a few steps. "Luna!" he shouted in concern. Just who was this Aux character? Such power, even capable of downing someone without moving.
Having escorted Belle to the proper location, the couple had gone off into the dining room along with the castle denizens. Now the group waited together, or at least he thought they were going to wait. At the front door stood a man wearing armor or a suit of some kind. He closely resembled Krowley, a lot. D'daear stood behind the group, watching the mysterious person carefully. It seemed they were well acquainted with this person, seeing as both Base and Luna summoned their keyblade; Krowley on the other hand remained motionless, only letting out a few words. Base stood by Krowley's side, while Luna proceeded to advance towards the stranger. She seemed rather upset about something. He stood behind Krowley and Base, not summoning his keyblade just yet. "Ssoo...is this guy friendly or should I get ready for a fight?" he inquired with little concern, his head peering between both Krowley and Base.
Ooooh! Soul Eater!! Guess I'll have to start reading the manga! Soul Eater.....NOT! xD
"Huh?" he uttered when Base nudged him; so busy was he listening to their conversation that he had almost but forgotten of his surroundings. D'daear gave Base a nod of acknowledge to his words. "Right! I'll keep my eyes focused on the surrounding area!" he said enthusiastically. Readying themselves, he followed the group following Belle. Like a ninja he kept his eyes wary at all times, taking slow and careful steps as the team progressed. A part of him couldn't help but want to mess around during the whole escort.
The lady in the gown was beautiful. Following Bases lead was the right idea, so he bowed as well. "A pleasure to meet you as well, ma'm." was all that was uttered from him. D'daear faded back into the background for the moment, watching as things transpired. Steel was banging his head against the wall, Luna was hopefully feeling better, while at the same time caught in the middle of conversing with the lady along side Base, and Krowley. There wasn't much for him to say, as he felt it better to just watch and learn how outsiders mingled with others from this world. The group traded words with the woman, with Steel dropping a few hints to which D'daear didn't quite understand at the moment. "Why would we need to escort this lady?" the words swam in his mind, whilst raising an eyebrow in question. Being new to this whole gig, he didn't quite understand the dangers each world held. Who knows, perhaps something was bound to happen that through, countless experiences, compelled the group to need to escort this fine young lady to her evening event.
Welp, it can't be helped then. Guess it's xehanort then. lol (Although my opinion still stands; however redundant it may seem now)
Wow! That's some 13 minutes. I like the way your transitions from scenery to scenery, and the way you capture the 3 perspectives of each part of the town. You have 1 point, 2 point, and 3 point! Nice! Would've been nice if you had voiced some kind of tour guide; like a joke or something. lol
D'daear looked up at Base with a content smile. He took his outstretched hand, and lifted himself up to his feet with Base's steady weight. Now to get to what mattered for the moment. Apparently the wardrobe did not want to move as it had repositioned itself after Krowley attempted to move it to the side. It had spoken; no surprise there. The young keyblader gave a sigh as he looked at the wardrobe while placing his hands on his hips. Everyone was now trying to reason with the wardrobe. "That's ONE stubborn wardrobe..." he thought to himself. With a cough, he started to move in close. Perhaps a ruse would work? Worth a shot. From the sound of the wardrobes voice, it sounded like a female. "Uumm, ma'm. May you please move aside so that we may speak with Belle? It's of great importance. Lumiere and Cogsworth both spoke to us about everyone's predicament. We won't take too long." he started, joining the rest in their attempt to convince her into moving aside. Then he heard something from Steel which caught his attention, and felt the need to emphasize it over the crowd. "BELLE COULD BE IN DANGER!?" he exclaimed, mostly trying to exaggerate in his tone of voice so as to further add drama; to the possibility of Belle's danger. Hopefully, it would be convincing enough for the wardrobe to move aside.
I have to agree with Miltank having been the worst experience I've had in a battle. That rollout just kept coming... And her self heals!!! I...I just....I couldn't take it anymore.... T_T And don't think I forgot about you, Brock... With your stupid Onix...and that stupid geodude... Charmander never had a chance... ;~; It was because of him I started liking squirtle and Bulbasaur more as well as any Water and grass type starter.
The velocity of it all was too intense. When Steel had reached their destination, he gave an abrupt stop which nearly threw D'daear flying were it not for Steel's quick reflexes. He was put down, with his purple hair a wild mess. His heart was racing, and the rush of adrenaline was coursing through him. "Thanks Steel..." he muttered in wide eyes. He took a couple of uncontrolled steps towards Base before he tumbled forward to the ground. With a thud, he was on the ground laying about while staring at the ceiling. He was catching his breath. When it all settled, he couldn't help but feel the urge to shout in excitement. "NNNNN....THAT WAS AWESOME!!" he shouted, then relieving his nerves in a laughing fit as he closed his eyes. He was completely oblivious to what was going on, and most likely fading into the background scenery while the other four got down to discussing on how to get inside Belle's room.
"Sure, I'll drop you off with Luna." He said grabbing his arm. "SWEET!" D'daear exclaimed in excitement, letting Steel take hold of his arm. He felt flying was going to be an amazing experience; assuming Steel was going to give him a piggy back ride. The mystical keyblader rose into the air, levitating in his awesomeness. Excitement was already weld up inside D'daear, his face exaggerating with the expression of he what he felt. His body lifted along with Steel's, the sensation of hovering motionless above ground causing his excitement to explode out of his mouth. "AWWWEEE-SSSSSOOOOOOOOMMMEEE!!!!!" he yelled at the top of lungs, getting all jittery. Steel did not pull him up, though, and instead added, "Oh, and hold on; I like going fast." D'daear's smile turned upside down quickly. "Say what?" Without warning, the two went flying after the group. The purple haired key bearer was sent in the opposite direction as his body dangled in the air like a rag doll. The air resistance surrounding them was intense, D'daear could feel the wind whizzing past his self at great velocity. Everything that was D'daear swayed in the opposite direction as the two sky rocketed towards the group. "AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA HAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA!!!!!" yelled nervously the frightened boy.
I have made a grave mistake. My study of the "darkness of the heart" began with a simple psychological test and quickly snowballed. ^The Secret Ansem Report right after the one I just posted. It's implied in the beginning of this report that Ansem the Wise had indeed done the psychological test, which thus would cause Xehanort to remember and thus to continue on with his plans. The plot has to move on somehow, right? lol As for the whole Terranort scene after Aqua's final battle, my opinion still stands that it is inf act Terra who deliberately plunged the keyblade into his body's chest. Why? Well, Aqua just finished fighting Terranort(We all know how ridiculously OP this guy is story-wise). So why wouldn't it make sense for Terra to find an opening during Xehanort's weakened state to take over and put a stop to Xehanort by whatever means necessary? Evidence to be used: 1)Terranort has an aura of light surrounding his body when this happens. Why on earth would Xehanort have an aura of light when trying to stop Terra? 2)Also, that pit of darkness was caused not by Xehanort, but accidenatelly by the Guardian; he does happen to sort of 'die' right after the keyblade gets plunged into Terranort's chest, huh? I don't see what Xehanort would gain by plunging his weakened body into the realm of darkness... I do see what Terra and the realm of light would gain by tossing Terranort into the realm of darkness, though. P.S: I looked up trinity reports, and found trinity archives which then led me to Xehanort Reports. Those didn't say anything(from the 12 reports that I read) about what related to this topic. Am I looking wrong? Please send me a link to the source you read it from when you have time.
D'daear just kept his eyes looking back and forth between Steel, Luna, and Base as the three held a discussion. At this point, he was lost. He could feel small tension rising between them. Trusting his gut, he refrained from saying anything. He stood there, helping Base lift Luna for a while. It's best to let things like this resolve on their own. Who knows, maybe a sudden event may bring them closer. Suddenly, Krowley parted from the group and gave chase too...? He couldn't see the reason Krowley was running off on his own, but one thing he knew for certain was that all of Luna's weight suddenly shifted to him briefly. He saw his mentor run off after Krowley, instructing him to stay with Luna. "U-uuh yeah, of cou- Hey!" was all he managed to utter as Luna also found it in herself to run after Base, leaving Steel and himself alone momentarily. The purple haired youth gave a loud sigh. The situation had escalated rather quickly, to which he was not ready for. "We JUST caught a break!" he complained, groaning afterwards. He turned to Steel, his expression that of exhaustion. "Steel, is it possible that maybe I can...hitch a ride?" he asked, referring to his floating ability where all he has to do it just fly. "That's gotta be an amazing feel..." he thought, waiting on Steel reply. He hoped he would answer him soon, as Base's instructions were clear....and if he wanted to better himself he'd have to learn to follow orders first.
That's very interesting actually, but if I remember clearly...Master Xehanort does say before he claims Terra's body, "...it is your darkness that will be the ark that sustains me." If I remember correctly, Vanitas was Ventus's pure darkness, so half of Ventus. So wouldn't it be that technically, Master Xehanort's heart is sustained by Terra's darkness which is a part of Terra's heart? So with that^ in mind; aside from Terranort having a light like aura around him in the moment, wouldn't it be that Terra was the one in fact the one who momentarily regained control, and then with a final attempt at defeating Xehanort he plunges Xehanorts own keyblade into his chest, shouting beforehand, "This'll teach you...! Get out of my heart!" I mean, even Aqua's dialogue hints that its Terra. "Terra, I KNOW you're in there!" Sorry if my previous post was silly. I could've sworn Ansem the wise mentioned in one of his reports experimenting on Xehanort. Scratch that! I found it! It's in the KHII Secret Reports! (Silly me) Secret Report 2: My efforts these many years have come to fruition, with the world I govern having become a paradise worthy of being called "Radiant Garden." Nurtured by the pure water that is the source of life, fragrant flowers bloom in abundance, and the people face each day with hopeful smiles. But where there is light, darkness also lurks. As noted in my earlier reports, I must solve the mystery of this "darkness of the heart." This paradise depends on it. I shall perform an experiment to probe the depths of a person's heart. One of my own apprentices, Xehanort, has volunteered to be a subject. The young man has served me ever since I nursed him back from death's door some years ago. He had lost all his memories at the time, but later showed remarkable intellectual curiosity and readily absorbed my teachings, gaining deep wisdom. Any mental immaturity is surely due to his young age. If I explore Xehanort's heart with psychological tests, I may be able to recall the past locked away within. My apprentice Even has also shown great interest in Xehanort's memories. But is he really the right subject? Xehanort does indeed exhibit extraordinary talents... Too extraordinary... Perhaps they are even superhuman. Reference: http://kingdomhearts.wikia.com/wiki/Ansem_Reports

I'm not to clear on it either, but according to some people it's actually Terra who manages to regain control for a moment. It was him who used Xehanorts own keyblade to to sort of do something to their heart which then induces amnesia or something; thus forgetting how to use the keyblade. Then supposedly Ansem the Wise experimented on Xehanort's heart, and reawakened those memories( I think this is in one of the reports in Kh1). ^This makes the most sense to me. Reference: http://kh13.com/forum/topic/15979-terranorts-keyblade/ ^The grammar is off, but he gets to the point.
D'daear nodded at Base, quickly standing to aid Luna by going underneath her other shoulder to better support the distributed weight. Now the four legs had become six! They stood there a while, D'daear listening to Base's words of wisdom. Somehow he felt overwhelmed as the information didn't make much sense at first; except for where their next destination was. "Rright...I think?" he managed to say, a perplexed look on his face. There was so much for the young Keyblade wielder to learn, so much in fact that he felt a bit silly for not understanding. "Darkness cloaks the truth, and light can blind me?" he thought for a moment. Did he mean it literally or figuratively? For certain he would have to take time to himself to ponder Base's words. At any rate, he stood there ready to move whenever everyone was ready.
It could just be that they're very overconfident in their abilities. Kind of how most villain's act all cocky and smile whenever they encounter the protagonist. Could just be their sadist's, and enjoy causing trouble because their just the villain. Perhaps because they know when fighting Sora, they're also fighting Roxas? Man, maybe they smile because they know Sora is forced into fighting the heartless which thus releases the hearts towards their artificial kingdom hearts. *Shrugs*
That probably could have something to do with the lighting in those specific scenes. Kind of how when a sun shines down at you, and creates shadows depending on the positioning of the object. The part where the light doesn't hit is always darker than the part that is being hit by the light. Just the same way, the part that is hit by the light is always lighter; sometimes objects literally have white spots. So to answer what your question, it could just be the lighting...lol. It'd help if I knew what scenes you were talking about; I've never noticed that about the Xehanorts. Good eye. ;)
D'daear cocked his head to the side. "A rose?" he questioned. The servants continued to give out the details revolving around the mysterious rose that had been left behind by the enchantress. He crossed his arms, as if in deep thought. "You guys have it rough... No wonder Beast is so cranky..." he assumed, trying to make sense of the situation. This whole adventuring thing was just so new to him. Who would have thought he'd encounter a world where magic so powerful as this existed? He was still getting used to the fact of seeing these enchanted people in the form of...well objects. A thoughtful sigh escaped his nostrils. Mrs. Potts continued speaking, finishing with a query for their help. A motivated D'daear jumped at the opportunity, forgetting the rest of the details. "Of course! Yeah, count me in too!" he replied, following up on Luna's willingness to help the castle denizens. He turned to the others, waiting for their reply when suddenly he heard the floor beneath him reverberate slightly. The keyblader turned, eyes widening in worry as he found Luna on her knees. Even if he didn't know her too well, he would have acted the same way towards any stranger. "Luna, what's wrong?" he inquired, kneeling next to her in sincere concern.
