    hmm.

Well one of the things I want to point out is that addictiveness, even if whatever you're addicted to does not give you cancer, is still not good.

When people go to rehab and have interventions for being addicted to certain drugs, its not just because the drug itself is hurting the person. A lot of the time, being addicted to something hurts your relationships with people, your ability to do work properly, and a ton of other issues.

Its true, no one likes cancer. And eliminating it completely from cigarettes would definitely be a good thing...but more addictive? No, this is definitely not "alright."

Also cigarettes have plenty of toxins in them that may not induce cancer, but still kill you.

While I'd imagine for some that its more important, its nothing but a simple medium for me. I like youtube a lot, dont get me wrong, but I dont really use it beyond the use of being able to watch videos/listen to music. And even then when it comes to listening to music I already have Pandora/Last.fm/

I used to have an account and I used to make AMV's, but I started seeing how time consuming and pointless chatting with other youtubers/making videos was for me.

Its cool but I only use it when I'm bored.

It depends on the job...if its Hooters, for example, (I dont know why a guy would sign up for a job at Hooters but lets just stay with the analogy) where looks matter a lot, I'm pretty sure that as a CEO/manager I would hire a pretty girl who I know will reel in more cash instead of an ugly guy.

When it comes to a office job, where looks really don't matter, it would be stupid to not hire the more qualified person in my opinion. If a CEO really wants to be around hot chicks he (in this case he -not that there aren't female CEO's) should go to a goddamn strip club.

The media is one of the most biased and misleading forms of information we've got. Often times news reports will "sensationalize" their news: making something melodramatic, bigger/smaller than it really is, etc, because part of the idea is that they need to get viewers hooked (so that they can make money -it is a business after all)

Its ultimately up to us whether we trust all of it or not, but its smart to always question sources, ideas, etc.

    Browsers

I think i'm the only one here who uses Safari. Firefox is nice but some sites suck with it, and its kind of slow, so yeah don't use it. I have all of my saved bookmarks/etc. on safari too and im too lazy to make the switch.

I have yet to try google chrome. I hear good things about it, but again, too lazy to make any sort of switch.

you should ask yourself: what's so painful/bad about hate directed at a barely active member by members who barely care in the first place?
