I'm suprised no one has made a thread about him. I think his music is great, if you are unsure about who he is, Hans Zimmer made the majority of the Pirates Of The Caribbean songs, and has also done work with msuic from movies such as The Lion King. Who else is a fan of his? What is your favorite song by him? My favorite as of now is Hoist The Colours, but I think my ALL over favorite would have to be To Die For.
All right, I'm kinda having problems with my dad and the music I listen too and the shows I watch. (1.)First off: Music. I love music. I listen to everything out there. My dad has a problem with it though. I listen to a lot of Rob Zombie and Marilyn Manson, and he isn't too big of a fan of both those bands. He thinks Brian Hugh Warner is just...stupid. And Rob Zombie, well, he doesn't want that because he has nudity in his movies, and his music is pretty negative. I really don't see the problem with it, now, he doesn't know one of my all time favorite songs is "Doctor Online" by Zeromancer,(I'd die for that) but I'm not sure what to do about this. He thinks it has a bad influence over me. I don't think so. It gives me a creative mind, that helps me role-play, which in turn, helps me with my language skills to some point. -Marilyn Manson. My dad doesn't like Brian Hugh Warner at all, he thinks he is ridiculous and I shouldn't listen to his music because it 1. Of his band name(even though it is meant to show the iconic difference in society) and because his music often relates to sex. 2.Rob Zombie-Pretty plain out there-he was a pornographer and consists of a lot of nudity and violence in his movies, and not only that, but his music is some what negative. I can't really see what is so bad about it. Its made ot be horror music. ex://"Hell of Hound, you cry, devil on your back, I will never die" (2.) Shows. My dad is aggravating me A LOT with this one. He doesn't really have a problem with me having watched Wolf's Rain or Ginga Densetsu Weed. But whenever he sees me watching AMV's with the fighting in it, he just thinks its a show about dog fighting, and whenever I draw something like a dog he always says "Yeah, a dog tearing off another dogs head, or having it gushing blood." Now, don't get me wrong. I do draw violent pictures of dogs fighting(from GDW or Wolfs Rain for examp.) but I never show him. And I'm getting pretty tired of him referring to every picture I make, as violent, because its a picture of a wolf or dog, and I he has seen what I watch. Any ideas of what I should do?
All right, I have this problem and I'm starting to wonder if this is going to ruin any more of my life. So, here I go, Whenever I eat around somebody I always get nervous, I don't know why but I do. Or like, for example, the other day my teacher asked me to have lunch with her and I didn't go because I KNEW I would be too afraid to eat. Anyone have a clue of how to help me?

Okay, so the other day, I was talking to my dad about Brian Hugh Warner(Marilyn Manson), and he didn't like the name because he obviously took Manson from the famous serial killer Charles Milles Manson, so I brought up that Warner chose his nickname to show the iconic different in society today, and after my dad told me that in Europe(Belgium and Germany to be exact) that they don't like violence and have the view that we have on porn. There used to be a shhow in Europe and it was a game show, and whenever someone got a question wrong they would have to take off some part of their clothes, and in the end everyone took off their clothes anyway, and they don't find anything wrong with it. Neither do I. For the United States and pornography or anything sex related for that matter, is viewed as a dirty thing. Even the Church has standards against it. But violence is something different for us. I see violence in basically every show here in the U.S. even in simple children's programs such as Spongebob. How ever, we can't show any sex on television, since kids aren't sexually mature. We view violence as something funny on TV. Sex is something BAD though. I have only seen one show that has sex in it(south park) and my dad viewed that as wrong. Yet, we watch movies with gore and blood and don't find anything wrong with it. I can't believe this hasn't been posted yet. Who else has seen Felidae? I saw it a year ago but I watched it again today. I find it great. 'A cat named Francis moves with his owner to a new neighborhood, and no sooner has he set paw into his new home than he is greeted by the slain body of another cat. Local street cat Bluebeard is convinced that this, and the other three recent killings, must have been committed by a "can-opener" - cat slang for a human. Francis disagrees, and as he finds out more about the victims, is sure that not only is the murderer a cat, but that the killings are all connected by one common factor - each of the victims was sexually aroused at the time of death. He is aided in his investigations by fierce, gluttonous Bluebeard, blind but wise Felicity, and the computer-using cat Pascal. His sleep is haunted by terrifying and vivid nightmares, which offer insight into the mind of the murderer. Francis soon runs afoul of the local bully Kong and the suicidal Claudandus Sect, and Francis discovers that his new home was once the site of a laboratory owned by Doctor Pretorius. Pretorius, in his search to create a bonding glue that would heal any flesh wound, performed painful experiments on countless cats, including the legendary Claudandus.
