What would you do if you were bored? Honestly, I'm curious, what on earth would you do if you were really seriously bored. (comment on other people's boredoms if you don't have one yourself!) "I would probably join the CIA, get on a helicopter and go to the mountains, and shoot a bunch of hermits as they yelled 'I believe I can fly!!!!'." Spoiler Do not take this thread seriously.... I only posted it because I was bored
Sora cast another spell, this one aimed at Dark Link, "THUNDER!!!" he cried, holding his keyblade up in the air like a lightning rod, and shooting a bolt of thunder into the sky, which came down at Dark Link.
Avatar= 7/10 Signature= 9.5/10 (the way Sora and Riku are positioned.... perfect, and the colors make the text pop)
^^ Win ^^ Now.... KILL IT WITH FIRE!!!!!
"sniper... like the nobody," Sora mused to himself for a moment, then his face went all happy, eyes wide, one finger up in the air, "I've got it!" he shouted, pointing at a ledge on one building, about six feet off the ground, "get up there and use your Mantis Sniper-blade thingy to fire spells on the Chaos guys!"
Welcome to the site, it's always fun to have another person join... because it means I'm one more step away from being a noob XD Anyway, like everyone else said, read the rules, have fun, be your geeky self! (And chase girls, just don't go after them unless you know for sure that they are actually female ;) ) [/strike]no offense to random people[/strike] I hope you have a great time and that you stay awhile. ((It's been years since I've even heard that name... is it wrong that I still have a few of the larger sets still set up in my closet?))
Sora glanced back at Garrus, "yeah, umm... you're Garry, right?" he said, glancing around, Dante's already refused help, Sonic looks like he's got enough back up, unless thoose other Chaos guys jump into the fray, And Link looked to be evenly matched with his dark twin, he thought quickly, then turned back to Garrus, "what's that thing that you're holding? Is it like a gunblade?" he asked, already begining to form an idea in his mind.
Mark stared at the small stone in his palm, smaller and thinner than a dime, irregularly shaped because he had broken it off the walls with his own bare hands. It had taken months of effort and secrecy, he couldn't have let the guards or doctors find out what he was doing. Mark smiled grimly, in these hands, a blade of grass could have been a deadly weapon, if it weren't for the damned drugs. Mark sighed, staring at the small stone in his hand, and closed his eyes, moving the parts of his mind that he exersised regularly, even if he couldn't do anything with them just now. I'm not insane, I know what I can do... it's the drugs, they keep me from using my rightful gift. he thought to himself, as he strained, visulazing the stone was easy, visualizing the atoms that made it up was also easy, his mind could predict the precise movements of the molecules within it, the way they shook and shuddered, wanting to be free of the bindings that came with being solid. All he had to do was use that untapped energy, but it was so hard, how dare the scientists take away his gift? It was his god-given right to use the powers, why couldn't they see that?! Mark calmed himself, and opened his eyes, the small stone was levitating about a centimeter above his hand, trembling as it fought gravity. Mark grit his teeth, trying to keep it up longer, he'd been trying to work around the drugs ever since he had come to this accursed place, but he rarely was able to keep his stone in the air for longer than a minute or two at a time, and that was a passive effort, he couldn't sling the stone faster than he would be able to with his own arm. In the past he had thrown cars, blocks of cement, and people. Oh yes, he had thrown people, bad people, nasty people. What in BLAZES gave them the right to insult mother like that? Mark thought angrily. Oh yes, they deserved what they got, he thought, thinking of exploding blood vessels, of snapped necks, of crushed bodies, and of the agonized screams that the brutes had made when he had started rubbing their skin against their muscles, and muscles against the bones. It had been fun to watch them explode into flame from the friction, it had been fun to swing the still-living burning Monsters around himself. Nothing went wrong until the one miscalculation, Mark shut his eyes to the painful memory of his mother's corpse. IT WASN'T MY FAULT! he mentally shouted. Mark collapsed to a shuddering wreck on the ground, ignoring the stares of his guards. A few minutes or was it hours? later he noticed movement and shouts; climbing to his feet he gazed out the window as another innocent person was dragged in here against their will by the monsters that ran this place. Mark made a noise of disgust and sat down on his bed, ignoring all the noises that the ugly pigs that were his guards made. Mark ignored everything until he heard the agonized screams, what on earth was that? he wondered, climbing slowly off his creaky bed and creeping back towards his door. Peering out the window he saw splashes of red paint decorate the gloomy walls, as the agonized screams of the evil monsters made lovely music. Mark chuckled to himself, and sat down on the floor, closing his eyes and humming to the wonderful massacre going on outside. When he finally opened his eyes again, he noticed two things. His door was swinging on its hinges, the lock snapped, and it was eerily quiet, even the lovely sound of that one girl's humming had died away. A few seconds later he heard something that must have been the sound of skipping. Poking his head out, he saw a girl skipping away from the direction that the music had come from. Mark climbed out of his cell and glanced back at the lovely hall colored with the blood of his tormentors. It livens the place up, he thought satisfied to himself, ignoring the horrible roar that came from the hall. Then he turned and dashed after the girl and the other man, they were probably headed out of this place, and Mark wasn't going to waste his chance for freedom. Maybe the people ahead were like him, not really insane. He chuckled to himself as he followed, yes, that's right, we are the only sane people on this planet, with that lovely thought he continued to follow the others.
Okay, yes, I got the part about being weaker, I just kinda outlined what he would be able to do at full strength, and I have no intention of god-modding with these powers.
Sora summoned his keyblade, and glanced around for someone to fight, none of these bad people looked like heartless. Then something Caught his eye, Shadow and Sonic going at it, and saw the darker hedgehog's hands glow. That can't be good, Sora thought, and raised his keyblade, "AERO!" he shouted, casting a wind spell on Sonic, forming a sheild out of air for the blue hedgehog.
\^/-Mark-\^/ Mark growled, shifting so that he was facing Xigbar again, Who the heartless was this guy? How the Fenrir did that guy make thoose portals? Fire lanced up his keyblade, but Mark didn't release it at Xigbar, yet. <3-Kairi-<3 Kairi nodded, and dropped her keyblade to her side, the tip resting against her ankle, while her left hand lifted itself and planted open-palmed on the door. Kairi stared at her hand against the ornate door for a moment, almost as if she somehow knew that this would change things, here she was, on one side, the other side led to adventure, danger, and death. If I don't do it now, I never will, she thought to herself, Can I really be like Sora and Riku? Then she set her face, her determined blue eyes starred forward, and she PUSHED.
I read them. ALL OF THEM. I loved them, not 'Je adore', more like 'Oh God, I LOVE these BOOOOOOKS!!!!' I reccently re-read them through book three, though I'm bit upset because I lost book four when I moved a few years ago. This frustrates me to no end because the series is kinda like Harry Potter in that most people consider them to be for middle-school aged kids, when really the books that are later in the series are (slightly) aimed at an older audience, and I'm almost afraid that I'll be ridiculed in public if I actually go out and buy one.... >_<. Anyhow, great series, if you can overcome your fear of the public eye, then go get them. NOW.
Wwow... exciting... we actually got hacked? What happened? How did that person loose their account? (Ignore the noob above) ((The noob above means me))
Mark was once again busy tossing his fireball up in the air, reclining in the swiveling chair of the comm board, a bit farther back in the cockpit, away from the pilot's seat and the window. Mark extinguished this fireball as well, glancing back at Sarai, "okay then, should we wait for them then, or just go?" he asked, glancing up at the storm-surrounded castle, stark white against the starless blackness of the night.
Mark had been flipping his keyblade in the air and catching it, and juggling a pair of fireballs in his other hand while waiting for one of the others to come aboard. Mark smiled back at Sarai, "so, what were you and your, ah... pets doing here? This is like a no-man's land!" he says, after peeking out the window at the Duck and the Dog, curious as to why they were taking so long to get on the ship.
I have never (to my memory) had a lucid dream, but I dream often, though despite the fact that strange, impossible, and random things happen in my dreams, durring the dream it seems perfectly normal to me. Example: Over my trip this weekend I was with a bunch of people from my church in a cabin in the mountains (ooohhh... scary! XD). Anyway, I had this dream: I was at my highschool, hanging out by the front gates, the peeling blue paint on the twenty foot tall gates sticking out to me vividly for some reason. I stared at the closed gates for what seemed like hours, then they opened, and in a flash, what had been an empty, trash-stained campus was suddenly alive with activity, blurred forms rushed by me, the sun crept higher into the sky, and then suddenly everything snapped back into focus, time moved the way it was supposed to move. My friends Juice and his sister, Vanessa were there, which was really strange, because they don't go to my school, but I didn't notice it at the time. Anyway we were just there, hanging out by the main gate, talking about how much homework my chemisty teacher assigned the night before, when we hear screaming. Looking up I saw zombies walking in the front gate, I think it was five, but it might have been four, these were Night of the Living Dead style zombies, no rotting tissues, just some darkening around the eyes and paleness to the skin, and one of them had blood on its mouth, but that was because it had just bitten someone, who was now turning into a zombie as well. I think it was this guy named Vance, but I'm not sure. All I remember is that Vanessa and Juice didn't want to run, and I had to pull them behind me as people ran away, into the middle of the school. Once we got there it was strange, everyone, including me just hung out and was like 'whatever' occassionally glancing up at the slow moving group of zombies (about twenty, now that they got a few of the students), and even weirder was that there were people just hanging out over there, going to their lockers, not seeming to notice the zombies until they or one of the people near them got bitten by a zombie. About five minutes later I snapped back to reality and was like 'holy crap, JUICE!' because a zombie was walking towards Juice, and I grabbed him and Vanessa again and dragged them away through the crowd of people until they started running with me, and we ran into the math and science building, where there was like... nobody, except for a few random people from the school, anyway, we ran into my biology room from last year, but the person who was in there was my crazy chemistry teacher, a short, bald, slightly overweight, and mustached asian man in his mid thirties, wearing a button-up shirt, tie, and brown slacks. He was being his normal self, shouting things like 'Slow Pandas Die Fast!' and 'Pervnerts, not Perverts!', and slapping desks where sleeping people were sitting, aside from that the room was empty. We could hear screaming from outside in the hall now, and Juice slammed the door behind us. After that the chemistry teacher turned to us and we explained everything that was going on, all the people on the desks by then, had gotten up and ran out the way that we had come in. Then the Chemistry teacher was like 'oh, yeah, the zombies were comming today, we'rent they?' and then he snapped his finger and all of a sudden there was a back door out of the room, like, there wasn't any *pops* or smoke clouds, it was just suddenly there, so, the Chemistry teacher ran out there, and we followed him, and the door had lead outside, the back way to the school, we could see screaming people trying to climb over the big back gate, and being dragged back down by what was now a zombie army. then the door we left the school through dissapeared, like it just turned back into a wall, and we were like 'whoa', and then we turned and ran accross the street after my chemistry teacher. My chemistry teacher was all like, 'I should have gone back there and gotten bitten just so I could eat you!' and I was like 'this is no time for jokes,' and he was like, 'oh, right,' then we just ran into the neighborhood behind the school, and there was a big explosion behind us, like a nuclear blast veiwed from far away, except we were only about a quarter mile from the school. And quite literally that's when I woke up, and it was morning, and everyone else in the cabin was getting breakfast. (And no, my friend's real name is not 'Juice', but that's his nickname and we call him that most of the time.)
I personally always thought of it as that there were 358 days, and then half of a day durring the game... but seeing all the above arguments I am pretty sure that I am wrong.
yes, I did, lots of fun, aside from the "everybody in the cabin got the stomach flu" part, it was great -_-
Oh... I must have missed that when I skimmed read the rules, I guess I should ask an admin to remove/move this thread then? Anyway, back now, thank you everyone who cared enough to post here for the noob.
