Mark grinned at the raven-haired woman. "Then explain it to me so we can get going, you guys need a guide, don't you?" he said, silently adding, and I want to feel usefull.
Or for children under 18
Just for rhyming and rythm purposes, I had to do a few poems for my english class, the only thing that they have in common is that all three lines rime, each stanza is about a species of animal, and in each stanza the first two lines have the same number of syllables while the last is double the ammount of syllables in the previous lines. (ex: 3,3,6 and 5,5,10) Also... these look like something little kids would sing.... nothing at all like my other poetry >_<
Not to take away from the awesomeness of this OOC thread... but you called me RAPID.... holy crap.... that's what people on the XBOX call me... and at school.... and... yeah.... (now that I think about it... Rapid is in my name... but still... you're the first person on the site to call me "Rapid", not "RI", not "Ignis" not "Rapid Ignis", but "Rapid") O_O Also... maybe you should VM/PM Twilight so she knows it is up?
(O) o,(O) YOU HAD THE SAME CHILDHOOD AS MEEEE!!
Once, twice, thrice, Three small mice, Nibbling on the rice. Dashing and able, Living in stables, The mighty and proud horses of Able,
This is well written and interesting indeed, though I don't know anything at all about Doctor Who, (aside from the fact that the name of it is Doctor Who) so, I don't really understand who the characters are... but all in all, still interesting. It captured my attention long enough for me to read it.... and that is saying something.
Mark took a few steps toward the knights... this is my chance! He thought to himself, I can be part of a real adventure! As he made his way towards the group, he shouted out, "You need a guide? I can help you!"
Mark bit his lower lip lightly, shifting from foot to foot, the woman had mentioned something about needing a map.
Mark watched as the small group left the palace, unsure weather or not to approach them, he was hardly in a fit state of dress to speak with servants of the emperor.
The people who like trains Duh!
Do we all have to make songs about Chev now?... How about a haiku instead? Oh Chevalier Oh oh, Chevalier oh Chevalier oh >:-D You will nevah beat mah awsome haiku!
Mark sighed as he came out of a store, glancing back ruefully at the wooden door as it swung closed behind him. twenty? For a map of that quality? I spent months charting that region... and the best I get is twenty? he raged inside, his face didn't betray the anger though. Mark turned onto the street and trod up it, head down, wondering what on earth he was going to do to get something to eat. Not really paying attention, the boy wandered the streets for several hours, occassionally glancing up at the massive moon in the sky. So beautiful.... he thought to himself, then jumped back a bit as he spotted the massive structure almost directly in front of him.... he was at the Imperial Palace!
yeah.... you're probably right, so.... yeah.... my response to this: PRAISE GOD.... or, for you people of other religions, PRAISE YOUR DEITY! ..... And if you're atheist..... PRAISE SCIENCE!
O Deus meus! Aurum fuerit iecit!
I remember you!!!! no i don't... I'm just saying that... I'm new here... ignore me
It is a decade old because I am more than a decade old and it is older than me.... just look at the date I joined the universe, it is right under my avatar! (O)_(O) (Try arguin' with that logic ;))
I do this a lot, most of my dreams are like this... at least the ones that I can remember.
I personally don't believe in ghosts or spirits of the sort that they are dead people comming back to speak with the living, but I do believe in demons and angels, I know several people who helped to get a demon out of a medicine man in new mexico, and I believe that I have been attacked by a demon, though I'm not sure if I was dreaming or not when it happened. Two years ago I had been at an indian/native american reservation over the summer, and had gotten a few talisman-type things made out of clay with native american symbols carved into them. After that my life was kinda just going downhill, I thought about suicide a couple times, my grades in school slipped from A's and B's to D's and F's, and I couldn't sleep well at night because I had all these awful nightmares. Anyway, by March, I was a mess, and I was doing my best to pull myself out of depression. One night, not long after I started to work harder at school and go to church again, I woke up in the middle of the night, I don't know what time it was because my Alarm clock was off, my phone wouldn't turn on, and even the flashlight I kept near my bed wouldn't turn on. And I could feel something in the room with me, something evil, it's the only way I could describe it. The first thing I did was jump up and try to open my door, but it wouldn't open, as if it was locked, but I don't have a lock on my door. Then I was freaking out, and I saw the talisman things sitting on my shelf. They just seemed to be emenating that evil presence, they didn't actually glow or move or anything freaky like that... but I could feel something wrong with them. So I got my pocket knife out, and I took a necklace with a bunch of the clay talismans on it, and tried to cut it, but the string wouldn't cut, no matter how hard I tried. Then I tried to dig the point of the knife into the tailsmans, and it wouldn't even scratch them. At this point I was really freaking out, and I threw the thing accrossed my room, it hit my closet door and then fell to the ground, not a scratch on it. I was thinking frantically of everything my youth pastor had ever told me about demons, because at that point I was certain that this was what I was dealing with. I remembered something about the name of god having power over demons, or something weird like that. I just shouted: "God be with me!" And then there was this noise like a gunshot, and the talisman thing that was laying on the floor cracked, all the clay peices on it shattered, some of them with enough force to fly across the room. And the leather string to it disintigrated into dust and ash, like it had been burned. After that I was exhausted and fell asleep right then and there, I woke up in the morning on the floor, thinking it had all been a dream, but there were still clay peices scattered all over my room, and there was a small pile of dust where the talisman thing had been laying. After that my life got better, my grades came up, the nightmares stoped, and I stoped thinking about killing myself. I know it sounds far fetched, but it's true... or at least I think it is true, because all the stuff was still destroyed in the morning.
