    Dream Job?

I only have vague ideas of what I want to do, sadly.

    1. Art-related proffessions. All I really do from day to day is read, play videogames, surf the web, and draw. I love doodling, sketching things, and I've gotten reasonably good at it. I'm nowhere near being a professional yet, and I don't know if I like it enough to make it anything more than a hobby, but well, there aren't really many professions that appeal to me. :I

Maybe an animator like some members have expressed interest in, draw a comic strip for newspapers, a character designer for a video game, I don't know. I'm more concerned about doing what I want then being rich.

    2. Something history related. History's always been one of my favorite subjects (tied with Literature as one of the only ones I actually really want to put effort in), I like learning about different time periods, ancient societies and their customs, tracing mankind's long walk towards the future.

    I can't think of a third thing. =/

It's not like they need that many staff anyway, considering how small this place is.

Like a couple of days ago, I was trying to put a few more songs on it and it said there wasn't enough space when there was like 700 MB left.

I've never used a Zune, so I can't really comment on it.

My Ipod works fine for the most part, asides the occasional annoying shit that happens.

I wasn't implying you were dumb. =/ I just thought you didn't know what the phrase meant.

Next time I'll try to assume less, but don't get the idea that just because I don't think you know something about a specific subject doesn't mean I think you're stupid, because that's not what makes someone unintelligent.

I think I've known you long enough to know you're anything but stupid. I realize I might have come off the wrong way, and well, that wasn't what I wanted, but even so, don't you think you're overreacting just a little bit?

Technically speaking, you're correct, but you're more or less adressing a question of semantics than anything else.

Let me ask. Do you know even know what an "argument from ignorance" is?

    In essentials:

Making the assertion that simply because we don't yet have a natural explanation for a phenomenon, it must involve the supernatural (and yes, by that i mean ghosts, ghouls, magic, leprechauns, God and what else have you) is, by definition, an argument from ignorance.

It doesn't necessarily imply the person making the argument is ignorant (which I believe is the idea you got), merely that they're using the lack of knowledge and evidence for one viewpoint to try and prove another, hence, "argument from ignorance.

Under your definition, the phenomenon is technically "paranormal" until science explains it, which is true enough, but again, that's merely a question of semantics and unrelated to the point I was trying to make.

It's like saying that because we don't know what caused the Big Bang, it must be God.

The answer, for the moment, is simply "I don't know".

Funny that despite me living in Brazil I haven't yet heard a single thing about it here.

That asides, this doesn't really surprise me. Both the crime and what the Vatican did.
