Absolutely! I'm tired of seeing her being the damsel in distress. The whole 'Kairi has a Keyblade thing' hasn't really been explained, and I want to see her take a more active role. I was thinking she'd be like Aqua in that she is primarily magic-oriented as opposed to more physical girl fighters like Yuffie or Tifa. Maybe some light based magic spells? I'm hoping that for KH3 or whatever its called, instead of having separate stories like BBS a main party of Sora, Riku and Kairi could go around with the option to change which character you're controlling at will, and maybe include TVA and Mickey as well if they become party members, which they probably will if the story is about helping them. But keep controllable characters to keybladers only- Donald, Goofy and world specific guests remain AI. Also, the 'tutorial' part of the game could be Sora and Riku teaching Kairi how to fight, to show her gradual improvement.

Kingdom Hearts has never really been one of the 'major players' at gaming. A few trailers is the most there usually is. It just doesn't have as much popularity as other game series, even fellow Square ones.

I'm also glad to see that NPC appearences have been improved, judging by one screenie of a barmaid or something that looks far better than all the NPCs of Oblivion combined. They put lots of effort into creating lots of NPCs with complex behaviour and schedules, but they forgot to change the fact that they all looked like burn victims... Do you think Daedra Shrines will return? Those were some of my favourite quests, especially Sheogorath, who we now to be Spoiler the Champion of Cyrodill So that would be quite interesting.

Its the automatic response of most people when they see something different or unusual to crush it. The old saying 'the nail that sticks out is hammered down hardest' is appropriate. I myself am a fan of gothic literature, movies, fashion, etc. I wouldn't go as far as to claim I am a goth, I'm sort of a mix between a goth and a 'mainstreamer'. Of course, people who don't know me that well might see me with my long dark hair, dark clothes, punk boots, a long trenchcoat, etc., and immediately assume I must either be a psychopath, extremely depressed, or a satanist, despite the fact that I am none of those things. Then again, people who do know me don't give a flying frisbree what I look like or what music I listen to. Individuals who bully and label others like this are, thankfully, in the minority.
Maybe all of the orignal playable characters have new outfits, not just Light, which is why they are waiting to reveal them?
Who cares? Its MTV. Of course they're going to give ridiculous awards to people who don't actually have talent, its their job. Bieber, Twilight, they won't be the last. Some idiot who thinks they're incredible at whatever field will become famous despite not actually being that good next year too, I predict.
Sentimental value? Besides, we don't know how marriage works in that world. It's already different in the fact that they get engagement necklaces instead of rings. Maybe they also use the same one for both engagement and wedding?
